There is truly no place like this anywhere on the Emerald Coast.
Anna's Veranda is a beautifully renovated 100+-year-old, Victorian home with grand upper and lower wrap-around porches that offer rare unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico and the secluded dunes of the 19-acre Inlet Beach Dune Preserve. There are no hotels, condos or other homes to block your view. Located in a quiet neighborhood on a very private street. Kids can ride bikes safely. We are in the Panhandle of Florida, next door to Rosemary Beach and 8 miles from famous Seaside. Stay for a week and get your 7th night FREE!
Huge rooms have original antique heart pine floors, 11-foot ceilings, crown molding, original cast-iron fireplace grates, chandeliers and ceiling fans throughout. The new gourmet kitchen has three sinks and is large enough for several chefs to create memorable meals. The large open dining room in the center of the house seats 12 to 14. The front parlor and back parlor both have a TV, VCR/DVD, and queen sofa sleepers. Downstairs the full bath has a beautifully tiled shower. There is a screened-in porch just off the back parlor and a family size outdoor h/c shower. The back yard is large enough for a volleyball or kickball game or for several tables and chairs for your occasion. Bring your laptop, WE HAVE WI-FI INTERNET ACCESS throughout the house.
Upstairs all bedrooms have a breathtaking view of the gulf! The Master has a king-size cast-iron bed and a bath with unique double vessel sinks, a shower and claw-foot tub. Curl up in the window seat of the second bedroom that has a queen-size bed and opens onto the wraparound porch. There are two cast-iron queen-size beds in the large sunny third bedroom. The fourth bedroom opens onto the upper deck, has a queen sofa sleeper, a full size bed and a full bath. We have lush linens and towels cleaned with environmentally friendly products.
The quiet beach is steps away, just over the dunes and is never crowded. The Emerald Coast is known for its sugar-white sand and turquoise water. There are lifeguards at our beach all spring and summer. The boardwalk is ADA approved (no steps) and is a one minute walk from our front door. Shopping and great restaurants are close by. The new Pier Park is 5 miles away with shops, movie theaters and restaurants including Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Five Guys Burgers. Great shopping at Silver Sands Outlet Mall near Destin. After extensive internet searching, my daughter and her fiance found Anna's Veranda - and what they thought would be the perfect location for their wedding. They were 100% right!! Words cannot begin to describe the beauty and comfort of this home, and the perfect atmosphere it created for the most beautiful wedding, ever! The owner's were more than gracious and helpful; someday my husband and I plan to return to bask in the luxury of this home all by ourselves!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

My wife and I were married on the beach next to Anna's and had our reception there. Absolutely gorgeous house. Since we really didn't get to enjoy it during our wedding, I wanted to take my wife there for our 1 year anniversary as a surprise. She was definitely surprised. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable getaways that we've spent together. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone staying in the area. Tons of room and very vintage feel next to the beach. Great views too.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Happy Anniversary! Happy Birthday! Sharing our beautiful home with others has become a real joy for us. Something special about this house. Come see for yourself!

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful house and the owner, Anna. I searched for weeks for a house to have my wedding at in the Rosemary Beach area of Florida, and finally came across this beauty on vrbo.com. Planning a destination wedding over 500 miles away, I was a bit nervous signing a contract before I checked it out, but the glowing reviews made me decide to put it in writing. That was the best choice I ever made for my wedding. Anna is the most helpful, accommodating owner who was always responsive to emails and answered any and all questions I had (which was alot!) The house itself is a dream- decorated so wonderfully it should be in magazine. The rooms are large, it is kept very clean, and fit my entire family in it no problem. The beach is right across the street, which works perfect for weddings. I had originally planned to have my reception dinner outside in the backyard, but had to move it inside due to the heat. No problem there- the dining room fit 3 9 foot long tables (pushed together) and sat 20 people comfortably. The photos of this house just don't do it justice- it is absolutely gorgeous and just as cute as a button. If you're looking for a place to get married in Florida, I would highly recommend it- or just for a family vacation. Thank you, Anna, for sharing your home with us! We will definitely be back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway.
Owner response: When we can help make you happy, it makes my day! Thank you to all our brides and brides-to-be, families and friends. We love sharing our home with you all!

Anna's Veranda was just as I thought it would be...Beautiful!! We absolutly loved staying in the house and having our wedding on the beach in front of it. Our reception was inside and everything was perfect. Our wedding was vintage inspired so this house, furniture, decor, etc. made it all go together just right. We had plenty of room for all the family to stay in the house with us as well. We will definetly be going back for our anniversary next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway.
Owner response: We love weddings! and anniversaries, birthdays and family vacations! We hope to share our home for many years to come! Thank you to all our wonderful guests. Maybe you will get to come and experience our place for yourself.

Anna's Veranda was exactly the perfect venue for our oldest daughter's dream of having her wedding at the beach. The house is decorated so beautifully we did not require many decorations to make it a very elegant occasion! The kitchen is wonderfully laid out and equipped. The rooms are large and comfortably accommodate a crowd! The beds are super comfortable and we slept soundly every night! Anna was so easy to work with and helped us with recommendations for vendors and made sure the house was ready and sprinklers turned off on the days needed! We had the wedding on the beach down the street from Anna's Veranda and then we hosted the reception at the house. The backyard was a beautiful retreat and perfect setting for the outdoor reception...we were able to easily accommodate with plenty of room to spare 6 large mahogony farm tables with bistro lighting strung over them. The screened in porch was the perfect place for the groom's ice cream bar and the huge dining room table made the ideal place to serve the heavy hors d'ouerves reception and the island bar was wonderful for our drink station. A gorgeous wooden table was available to display the cupcake tier in the dining room. We could not have been happier with the location...it was conveniently located close to Highway 98 which made it easily accessible for anyone coming or going to/from either Panama City or Destin directions, plenty of parking for guests with the beach just a short walk down the street! It was also close to Highway 30-A making the quaint towns/shops/restaurants of Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Watercolor, and Santa Rosa Beach a snap to reach. Everyone raved about the beauty of the house and beach. We also hosted the rehearsal dinner (shrimp boil) for 35 people the night before the wedding and it easilly accommodated the entire crowd inside because the evening was too cold to be outside. The pictures on this site are great but seeing it in person we were blown away by its beauty. We are so glad we were there for an entire week to have many days to enjoy our time with family and friends and the beautiful surroundings! We highly recommend Anna's Veranda it exceeded our expectations in every way!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Wow! That review makes me want to get in a car or a plane and get there very soon! Thank you! We love to have happy guests and hope family vacations are in your near future. Come and see us again!

My husband and I got married on the beach by Anna's Veranda on October 1st. We stayed at Anna's for two nights and could not have been happier with our stay. The owner was so helpful and accommodating while we were preparing everything for the wedding and reception. The house was in great condition, and the grounds looked great for our big night. Honestly, we didn't do alot of decorating for the reception because the house is so beautiful in itself. It didn't need much dressing up at all! We plan on visiting again for many anniversaries to come. Thank you, Anna's Veranda!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We are so happy when our guests are happy! We love hosting weddings and have great connections to help you plan the day you have always dreamed of. Anniversaries and family vacations are wonderful here, too! Thank you for the five star rating!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house! It is so beautiful, but it is comfortable and relaxing. We loved the big rooms, the big kitchen that was well-equipped, the big dining room and table, the 2 living areas, so that the younger set could do their thing, while the others could do theirs. Also loved the big windows and the views from the upper deck and windows. Many of us enjoyed the screened-in porch downstairs. No one wanted to leave! It was very clean, too! The dune blocked the view of the water from downstairs, but it was a short walk down to the water. We love the white sands of the panhandle.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.
Owner response: We love it when our guests tell us they don't want to leave! We feel very lucky to be located just next to a Dune Preserve. The dunes protect us and provide a home for all kinds of wildlife. We have seen fox, rabbits and blue-striped skinks! There are so many kinds of birds! When you wake up in the morning they sing and sing.

This house is incredible. After looking it over my son said "we will vacation here every year." If you are looking for a real vacation from the world, this is the place to go: beautiful, quiet, restful. The linens that are provided are plush and soft. It is a joy to cook in the kitchen. My family sat around the dining table for hours. I never wanted to leave the rocking chair on the front porch--the sea breeze and scent of jasmine(?). There are too many wonderful things I could say about this house, and not enough space here. I heartily recommend this rental--but be prepared to never want to leave. My husband's comments: It was a great house, excellent location, nice views from upstairs, comfortable and large rooms, separate bathrooms for all, the house had character and all the modern facilities needed, including wireless internet access, plenty of guest parking, great for families. Only con is spotty cell phone service.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We love hosting family vacations. When several generations can come together and stay in one big house, it is a joy for us. The house is beautiful in pictures but as our guests will confirm, it is so much better in person! Verizon has the best cell phone coverage and upstairs on the deck with the breeze is the best spot for other carriers.

About the owner: Anna is an artist and yoga teacher. She works in encaustics, pastels and oils. Her work is abstract in nature and influenced by the textures and colors at the ocean and seaside. Dan is a pediatrician in an Emergency Room (we hope you never have to see him at work!). We worked together to pick all the colors and furniture in the house. We never knew we would work together so well as on this project! We both grew up with and loved Victorian architecture. Dan in New York and Anna in Charleston, SC.
Why the Owner Chose Inlet Beach:
We fell in love with the charm of this house the moment we walked in. It needed lots of TLC to restore! It was an amazing adventure to bring this beautiful Grand Lady back to her shining glory. She is truly a gem on the Emerald Coast. There are NO other Victorian homes on the beach in the Panhandle of Florida. We feel so lucky to have picked this spot as the beach still has dunes and is peaceful and quiet. We love weddings and sharing our house with people who love it! We hope you will come and add your love to the house, too.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
You will step back in time with the beautiful charm of this Victorian home. You will not sacrifice amenities as everything in the house has been lovingly restored. The wrap around porches, upper and lower, are the place to be at sunrise and sunset. There is always a breeze! The bedrooms are huge! The kitchen is large enough for several cooks to create memorable meals for large groups (3 sinks!). There are two living room areas (parlors) for separate TV viewing. The entire downstairs area is open, light and airy for communal gathering. We are right across a quiet street from a dune preserve; one of the few places left in Florida with dunes. There are lifeguards at our public beach all summer. There are nesting endangered Sea Turtle watching in summer, too. The neighborhood is quiet and safe enough for kids to play outside. Our backyard is big enough for any outdoor gathering.
