The cabin was exquisitely maintained and well furnished. We spent the Thanksgiving holiday, enjoying the wood-burning fireplace and the beautiful outdoors. My only little hangup with the cabin is against the actual picture of the cabin; it appears to be isolated in a rustic setting but it is really situated a sub-urban neighborhood in the mountains.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

We stayed for two weeks, a three generation family of two grandparents, parents and three children. The lodge gave us all space for privacy and is a lovely place to stay. The description was accurate and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Virginia. Highly recommended!

This home is very comfortable and nice. It is very clean. It has a very well equipped kitchen, with nice plates, utensils, etc. It is very close to skiing and tubing. For parents with small children: bring a baby gate for the stairs. We would definitely come back to stay here again. It is truly a pleasant home.

This is a wonderful house - the best we have ever rented. It is attractively furnished, the owners even provide a laptop with internet access! The porches are delightful, the location convenient, the kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need. The house is very spacious for 3 bedrooms, the upstairs loft is a lovely sitting area with large TV, laptop and comfortable chairs, the downstairs has a fireplace and comfortable chairs & couches. Altogether a great place!
