We are just leaving from our two week stay at Chris wonderful, large apt. Wonderful weather, beautiful views, and village feel. Loved our walk to the butcher, bread shop, fruit & veggies market, and small local grocer. The combi tour with Life Adventure is a must! There is a language school"Escuela de Idiomas Nerja" that my son & friend did for one week. Dinner prices were very inexpensive especially Little Italy for good pizza and pasta for 3-5 euros! Enjoyed it all and thank you for offering us your wonderful home...

Our family ended a two week visit to Spain with five glorious days in Nerja. What made it so special was our stay in this lovely apartment over the Mediterranean. The apartment is spacious and filled with sunlight. It is quiet and within a short, pleasant walk to the heart of Nerja and the beach. A grocery store and restaurants are two blocks away. Our family of four, including two tall teenage boys, was very comfortable. The bedroom layout makes it possible for everyone to have some privacy and the bathrooms are clean and well placed. The highlight was breakfast on the patio overlooking the sea. So peaceful and beautiful. We even enjoyed hanging our clothes out to dry on the rooftop clothes lines! I recommend this delightful condo to nearly any traveler interested in a fabulous beach experience in the south of Spain. There are three flights of stairs to climb, but if that doesn't deter you, a homey, lovely space welcomes you when you open the door.

This was our first trip to Spain (Nerja) and we are anxiously planning for next year! The home was beautiful. The view from the balcony of the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby mountains was absolutely breathtakingly. We enjoyed spending days at the pool relaxing and swimming before heading out for the evening. We also did a couple day excursions to the Caves, Brianna Beach, etc. We really enjoyed the location, close to many shops and restaurants, but far enough away so we would never hear noise in the evening….except for the waves. The weather was perfect and the fans kept the home cool in the afternoon heat. For anyone going to Nerja this is the place to stay!

This property was so great for our week long stay. The beautiful beach is right below as well as the pool, the view is gorgeous. and the restaurants are a block away. The apartment's bedrooms are almost divided into two areas so with two families we had great privacy. Our 3 year old granddaughter also enjoyed it when we barbecued on the rooftop deck. The location is good for day trips as well. We loved the nearby caves.
Owner response:This is a brief summary that covers it all. The client wrote they liked the apartment and had a marvelous time with their "Nerja Experience".

Hi, Chris, I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay in your condo in Nerja. It was absolutely fabulous and worked well for the 4 of us. Your views are breathtaking and we enjoyed fantastic, hot weather and swam in the Mediterraean which was quite warm. You were definitely right, we should have stayed longer. We had a great time at Ayo's on the beach eating paella and drinking lots of wine. We'd love to go back some day so hopefully we can arrange another time. Rated 5 stars.

This rental was a perfect choice for our family of four. Nerja is a good choice for enjoying the beach without the crowds and high rises. We have stayed in Antibes, France a couple of times and were looking for a beach town with character in Spain. We were not dissapointed. We enjoyed exploring the town, the paseo in the evenings and swimming in the warm mediteranean. We felt very safe and welcome. Don't miss the weekly outdoor market, very lively and colorful! It is easy to get to Nerja from the Malaga airport. Frigiliana was spectacular, and is only a few minutes from Nerja. It's not too bad of a drive to Granada and the Alhambra for a day trip The appartment itself is in a perfect location between the main beaches and the old town. We walked all over and only used the car to go to the outdoor market. The appartment is well furnished and has a wonderful terrace overlooking the beaches and sea. And, if you don't feel up to walking down to the beach, you can just jump into the pool! The owner, Chris, and property manager, Sue, were gracious and helpful. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. There were even a few breakfast supplies to get us going. We had no trouble cooking in the kitchen and enjoyed many dinners out on the terrace after the heat of the day. We were there in August, so it was a little tough dealing with the heat in the middle of the day. But we dealt with it by keeping everything open and using fans. There was no neighbor noise to speak of. I think our whole family would enthusiastically recommend this rental!

A true Mediterranean experience. Meals on the patio with view of a lifetime, and what seems like a hundred choices for cafes and restaurants around you. Of course the evening stroll to the Balcon de Europa with the best ice cream in Spain is a must. There are 3 small supermarkets within 5 minutes walk and a great French bakery just up the street. The city is casual and very relaxed but if you want to explore some other areas (Cordob, Malaga, Granada) the bus service is very good and reasonable. The Apartment is very clean and the owner, Chris, is great to work with. Recommended for tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway. Rated 5 stars

This beautiful condo/location matches Christine's descriptions perfectly. I have read the other glowing reviews and agree 100%, so I won't repeat. Fiends and I have stayed her twice, for 30 days each time, and can't get enough of the condo and Nerja and the surrounding areas. I have been fortunate to travel extensively (domestic/international) the past 10 years and this is the best. It seems where ever I stay I'm always viewing the surroundings and saying "Man, I wish I was staying there". Well I finally stayed "THERE". It's the best location in Nerja. I'm always asked what I liked best about my trips and for this one it was LOCATION, LOCATION. Up every morning straight to the patio and watch the sun rise over the mountains and the Med. I hike extensively in Colorado, and just minutes from the condo is the most unique river hike I have ever done. There is so much to do from Christine's condo either within walking distance or bus. We never got bored, and always ended the stay saying, okay next trip here we are going to do............................the list never ends. A MOST PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE! Don't miss it!
Owner response:Dear Neal, It is reviews like yours that bring joy to my heart. Knowing that clients will truly enjoy themselves is such a bonus to me. I look forward to finding that river trek the next time I visit Nerja. Thank you very much. Chris

I picked my son up who finished school for the semester in Granada, Spain, and we took the bus to Nerja. Wow, what a beautiful apartment this is overlooking the blue Mediterranean. A nice surprise to know we would be staying here for a week. I am such a water/ocean person and I was so happy here. I loved the view, I loved the water for swimming, I loved the caves and Frigiliana. We enjoyed the beach, the beautiful view and patio at the apartment. I enjoyed walking the beach, walking to town, shopping, swimming (both pool and beach) and eating out at the many wonderful restaurants. We had fun checking the ocean water everyday out the window to see if it was flat like a lake or big with waves. We enjoyed both. We're used to the Pacific Ocean so the water was just perfect for us. My son stayed in the water for hours when there were waves. This was a great place to rest up and enjoy. It was more than I expected. Sue greeted us and was very helpful with orienting us to the place and area. Chris was very nice and friendly and cared about our trip. I am currently recommending this apartment to my friends. You can't go wrong booking this apartment. Rated 5 stars.

This ranks as one of my best vacations ever. Nerja is breathtakingly beautiful, the people are lovely, the food is wonderful (and inexpensive), and Chris's apartment is the perfect rental to enjoy all that Nerja has to offer. Very comfortably appointed with spectacular views of the Mediterranean from the entire living area as well as the balcony and roof deck (with grill). The location is superb...a 5 minute walk to the town and the Balcon de Europa, a 15 minute walk to the bus station, a 6 minute walk to the market, yet at night we heard only the sea. Those of you that get BBC America should check out Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares episode on La Parra restaurant. It was in Nerja and has since closed, but it will give you a taste (pardon the pun) of Nerja. It was that episode that started me on my journey there for which I am truly thankful. I love Chris - she is a rentor who really cares about the people she rents to and their experience in her place. I can't say enough good things about her. She has a lot of returnees which we will be next year. Talk about value for money - her rates are so reasonable and you get double your money's worth, even if you're unfortunate enough to have to go there on US dollars. My husband and I have vacationed on Long Beach Island for many years and this vacation cost us so much less for so much more. I don't want this to sound like a paid endorsement (it isn't), but if you want to experience Costa del Sol at its best (not too touristy) then you shouold consider this property to rent. I think you'll be very pleased with your choice. Sincerely, Ria Rated 5 stars
