  Our family of five stayed here for one week (kids 14 and 16) and had a great time. It's in a very quiet development, which was perfect for us. I'd rather go find a party when we want one, rather than have one at our place and have to find a place to escape it. The beach and bay is beautiful, with the view of both from the condo truly outstanding. The pool by the beach was a great change when we wanted to get out of the sand and enjoy some fresh water swimming. The pool bar/restaurant (Sangria) was convenient and very good for a lunch delivered poolside. The condo is also in a great location, close to everything we wanted in our vacation. The town of Red Hook was minutes away (we had a rental car, which I highly recommend) with great restaurants (Pesce was the favorite, Coco Blue for sushi was very good). The ferry dock to St. John is in Red Hook - highly recommend a St. John trip for at least one day. Secret Harbor houses Aqua Action and we enjoyed our scuba dive with them - also just minutes away. As to the condo, we found the beds a bit on the hard side, but that is not a complaint - just an observation I'm passing along. I'm sure others would find them comfortable and comment if the beds were too soft. Bill and Pat were great to work with and were quick to answer any question we had. If you're looking for a great value in a condo rental for your trip to St. Thomas, give Bill a call. We loved our time at his condo and definitely plan to return some day.

I don't think we missed a season, except for a very few, and we continue to come, now with the addition of my five grandchildren.   Thanks for letting us stay at your condo during our vacation this week. The place is very well maintained, everything was exactly as you described, and we were even surprised to find that we had housekeeping services through the week. What a bonus! Cowpet bay is beautiful, the pool clean, good food close by, beautiful beaches, views, snorkeling, I see why you decided to buy a place here. After traveling to so many other islands, Mexico, and Costa Rica, I think we've finally found a place where we would love to return. Hopefully we can come back in a year or two and stay in your condo again.

  We just got back last night from staying at this wonderful condo for 6 days. The unit is as pictured. No surprises here! 2 Bedrooms 2 baths, full kitchen with dining table and washer and dryer. It was was on a beach with palm trees. Next door to the Elysian and around the corner from the St. Thomas Yacht Club. Guests have passes to use the Elysian pool. The kids loved the pool. Robert's restaurant was right next door as well as an outdoor pizza place called Ainsley's.Both restaurants are down the beach within 5 minutes from the condo. The double balcony opens up to the beach and you are literally 2 minutes from your door to the beach. I heard the sound of the waves every night before going to sleep. This was the perfect unit for our family (we have 3 boys ages 6-8) and very roomy to spread out all our belongings. It was centrally located to everything, Magens Bay, Coki Beach, Secret Harbour, Sapphire Beach. The Cowpet Bay beach itself is quiet, clean and private. This is a gated community so no taxis from the cruise ships drop passengers here. It is also within 5 min. drive from Red Hook which is a laid back town with some small shops, restaurants and a great food store for provisions and very fresh meat. We also took advantage of the ferry to St. John's. You can catch it at the Red Hook marina. The concierge was great. She recommended a medical center right at Red Hook for my son who got swimmer's ear from too much water activities. We would definitely consider this unit and location on our return trip. You can even see St. John across the water. Everything you need to have a great stay is within a short drive from this location.

We recently purchased this Villa after renting it for about six years. Not being able to live here full time, we decided to make it available to other families so they could have the pleasure of experiencing what we have been enjoying all this time. Our decision could not have been more on target. I was emailing a guest tyoday who had recently returned from her stay in"paradise", I suggested we should form a St Thomas fan club. She agreed, it sounds like a good idea. WF and family, the lucky owners.

  Location, Location, Location!! GREAT PLACE! My wife, brother, sister in law, and 16 month old son all rented the condo for a week in November. We were delighted and we will be back next year!! The condo is right on the water and only steps from the best beaches on the island. We have rented in the islands for years, and have never found as clean, modern, and safe of a place to stay. Having a young family, it was nice to have all the comforts of home right at your finger tips. We used the large kitchen a few nights to cook dinner, and the two full bathrooms were nice to have with two families. We also loved the fact that we were able to put the baby down for a nap and still sit on the beach watching the baby monitor, only steps away from him. If you are planning a trip to St. Thomas – look no further - you should stay at Cowpet Bay in this apartment!!

  Bill---Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in St. Thomas. The condo was perfect for us, even with our 3 grown "kids", and we are having a little difficulty debriefing back to reality. My 25 year old son, who lives and works in D.C., would have seriously stayed permanently, were it not for the small detail of job and income. I had to leave before I became seriously addicted to pain killers and bushwackers---we will definitely return!

  Hello Bill. Well to say the least, we had a wonderful time in your unit #29. Yes, we did indeed like the improvements you have made already with the lighting in the bathrooms; the new rug in the living area and all the colorful artwork on the walls. That really made things cheerful and bright. We especially enjoyed your grandson Ben's words about being in St Thomas. He must be very special to you. We thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful place and if all goes well next year, we hope to be back. I will let you know what our plans are so that we can reserve our time for 2011. P.S. We could not think of another thing you can do to improve life there!!
