Beautiful, private condominium, located on the ground floor at Bermuda Bay, which is the hidden jewel of St. Petersburg, Florida. Fully furnished, secure, and very well maintained. Relax in the beachside hot tub while watching the dolphins at play. Plunge into one of the two heated pools. Tennis and racquet ball beckon the athletically inclined or fish for sea trout, snook, or redfish on our own private beach. Barbecues out on one of the many supplied barbecue pits. Once you get the sugar white sand of Bermuda Bay between your toes, you will want to keep coming back.
Beautifully decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. King-size bed in bedroom and queen-size Murphy wall bed in the "L" shaped living/dining room. The kitchen is equipped with just about everything, including dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine. Linens provided, but bring your own beach towels. There are two cable TVs, one VCR, and free local phone. Of course, there is central air conditioning. There is also a screened-in porch with a large table and chairs overlooking beautiful garden view.
Bermuda Bay has a beautiful, 24-hour guarded, private, gated community, with a private sand beach; two heated swimming pools, a deep Jacuzzi, children's playgrounds, beach volleyball, picnic, barbecue grills, laundry facilities, and a putting green. Nearby recreation-on includes golf, tennis, and bicycling. Seasonal golf tournaments are held at nearby golf courses. For the culturally inclined, St. Petersburg and Tampa can be a real delight. There are world-class museums, symphony, opera, nightlife, oceanariums, sports, and dining. For a high energy evening, St. Petersburg has it all "and it is very AFFORDABLE."
Take a ten-minute drive to the world-renowned Fort DeSoto beach and nature reserve. Fort DeSoto was rated the ten best beach in the world by "Conde Naste Travel" magazine. Fort DeSoto beach has miles of sandy beach, pelicans, herons, osprey, and all types of incredible sea animals by the thousands. Launch your boat or rent some jet-skis nearby. Parasail, snorkel, or take a Casino Boat Cruise and gamble the night away. Shop, hike, bike, or simply relax in the sun and feel the warm soft sand between your toes.
While you are at the beach on St. Pete Island, pay a visit to the famous Don Ce Sar Hotel for elegant dining - one of the finest restored classic hotels in the United States, and a hangout of movie stars and the rich and famous. If you world rather follow the beach road north to Clearwater, a thirty mile stretch of white powder beaches winds a trail over the latticework of causeways, bridges, marina, wharfs, yacht clubs, miles of entertainment, shopping, and dining.
Finally return home to Bermuda Bay and watch magnificent sunset with the birds and dolphins, just feet away from where you are sitting. Every evening you may see flocks of wild green parrots in the trees as you sip your aperitif. If you prefer, candlelight dining and romance are yours in the many restaurants close by. You have now finished another perfect day in paradise!
