The condominium association has a recreation center with indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, outdoor pond, tennis courts, basketball hoop, and exercise room. For the hikers, a trail that leads up to the top of the ridge overlooking mountains and valley. At the entrance to Forest Ridge is the town recreation facilities with basketball courts, baseball diamond, soccer field, playground, beginner ski slope, and sledding hill.
Skiing is minutes away at Loon Mountain with FREE shuttle service running every 15 minutes during the ski season. There are several other major ski mountains (Cannon, Bretton Woods, Waterville Valley, Wildcat, and Attitash) within 15-30 minutes.
There are many family attractions and activities in the area including the Hobo Railroad, Clarks Trading Post, Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves, Echo Lake, Story Land, Whale's Tale Water Park, Santa's Village, gondola rides, hiking trails, horseback riding, fishing, snowmobile, Moose tours, ATV rentals, and more.
If you love to shop, a visit to the tax-free outlets in North Conway is a must! The drive along the Kangamangus Highway is one of the most beautiful rides in the East with many off road "scenic views" along the way. There are endless hiking trails, The Pemi River, and glacier pools (do not forget to bring your bathing suits). We suggest a drive to the summit of spectacular Mount Washington.
