My husband, I and our two daughters (16 and 20) along with my husbands brother and their 16 yr. old daughter vacationed together here! This was the best move we could have made. The unit was spectacular and breathtaking! The views were as well! This unit had more than enough space and the decor was superb! Very clean and cozy! Owners were very professional, friendly and kindhearted! Whenever we are in Gatlinburg, this is where we will stay! I can't imagine any other place being better than this. Everything we needed was supllied for us...except money! :) However, the price was great as well! Love this place! Will go back time and time again! The Warrens!

Our group of 6 stayed in Grand Essence and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves....We were very comfortable and found the cottage to be very spacious....We had bears visit us twice during our stay....the first time was late afternoon as we were sitting on the main level deck...mama bear & 2 cubs came strolling by...they took their time and we got to take many pictures. The next time was a few days later early in the morning. In fact, the bear stood on its hind legs with the front paws on the cover of my pick up truck sniffing....stood there several minutes then wandered off down the hill....very exciting....we will definitely consider renting Grand Essence again.

Stayed three nights and had a wonderful time. The pictures do not do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful. Have stayed in three other Chalet's of Stan's and all are nice and very clean. Wonderful guy to rent from and you cannot go wrong with any of his properties. It was my 87 year old dad's first time to the mountains and he had a great time also.

Thanks again for the use of you chalet it is gorgeous - we've stayed in several chalets in Gatlinburg but this one rates 'off the top' - love the location. It has plenty of room and is decorated beautiful. We had snow and even saw bears ! New Yrs Eve was so much fun in downtown Gatlinburg. We hope to be back next yr!

My family and I stayed at Grand Essence the week of Thanksgiving. We were absolutely thrilled with the accomadations upon our arrival!!! Plenty of room for everyone and beautifully decorated. Location is great for ease of entering the National Park. Also, great for downtown Gatlinburg. However, I suggest anyone prone to motion sickness not to use the shortcut to downtown that comes out at the aquarium! Mr. Pace called to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. A big plus of staying here was a wonderful Christmas light display across the street. This was a great vacation and we would want to stay here again for our next trip to the mountains.

My family (husband and two children ages 5 and 3) and another couple with two kids both 5 years old visited your chalet in Feb. 2007. We had a wonderful time! The kids thought it was the "biggest hotel" they had ever seen! They loved the pool table and the hot tub was very nice. With the king size beds no need to worry if the kids wanted to sleep with you either. Decorated beautiful and the view of the mountains was awesome! Hope to visit again soon!

Our family stayed here the first weekend in Dec. 2006. It is absolutely beautiful! It is huge, yet cozy! The view is stunning and the decor is fabulous! It was more that we had anticipated. We had everything we needed. We can't wait to go back!

We stayed with our kids on Dec 23-27, 2006. Very Clean place. Very comfortable. The kids (ages 22, 21, 20, 19 and 14 - our 3 kids & 2 nephews) all had a great time. The view is spectacular. The accomodation is very cozy. The place is humongous. Hot tub was out of this world. The rooms are spacous. I can't say enough. We have recommended to our friends to stay here as well. We had our Christmas dinner in the large dining area. It will be great memories for all of us.
