This beautifully decorated 'cozy cottage' has the old time charm of historic Leadville and all the comforts of home. Located on the northern side of town, everything is just steps away!
The cottage features three bedrooms (one bedroom with a queen, two rooms with twin beds), one full bath with a shower/tub, a fully-equipped country kitchen with brand new appliances and a spacious family room.
In the Summer: Discover why Colorado's Upper Arkansas River Valley is considered by many the Capitol of Whitewater River Rafting. Additionally, enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, mountain climbing, exploring old ghost towns or simply relaxing in the cottage while you soak in the scenery of one of Colorado's oldest mining communities.
In the Winter: We have some of the country's best skiing. Only ten minutes to Ski Cooper and within easy driving distance of five other major ski areas (Copper Mountain, Vail/Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin). Additionally, enjoy great cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and more right outside your door.
For our non-smoking guests' comfort, we CAN NOT allow pets or smoking inside our cottage!

We went for three nights, cooking delicious meals for six. Lots of good pots, pans and dishes are unbreakable. Great for the toddler. Sking just two blocks away, sledding, ski-joring, library all free. Best children's library section in the state. Watched the night, snow-bike racers come around the corner for the final hill and finish. Excellent thrift stores and quilters shop. We will be back for a summer holiday. Very Clean!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed here while skiing Ski Cooper and Monarch Mountain. Perfect for 5 adults-college age to age 50's. Small but warm when below zero at night. Only 1 bath but enough for us. No hot tub but we paid and used the public one in town (at the aquatic center) a couple nights and also used the sauna/swam in the pool/showered there too. Good bed set up with 4 twin beds and 1 queen since we had only 1 married couple. Reasonably priced and well stocked with supplies.-everything we needed in kitchen and house including washer and dryer, tv service, and wi-fi ( wi-fi vital for us!). Skiing was great at Ski Cooper with good snow and no lift lines despite it being the holiday break. When we became bored there we drove to Monarch Mountain because it had fresh powder & challenging slopes (love moguls) and also has reasonably priced lift tickets and NO lift lines. We were able to fix our own healthy meals and play games/watch movies in the evening. We had a fantastic ski vacation, rested comfortably at night, and didn't spend a fortune!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.

We rented the Cozy Cottage for 5 nights for a girl's getaway trip. It was wonderful. The house had the perfect amount of room and it was very clean and comfortable. It was great to have a kitchen - we had most of our meals there. The owner has done a great job in making it a homey place to stay with many amenities. We were just minutes away from the Leadville Train, Turquoise Lake, Twin Lakes, the Route of the Silver Kings and of course, shopping. The communication for setting up and staying at the house was outstanding. I would highly recommend the cottage for your stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We really enjoyed our time in this house. Everything was clean and there was plenty of room for our two families. The owner is courteous and easy to get hold of. I have no complaints and would recommend to anyone. If we are able to return to Ski Cooper we would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
