This is one bedroom condominium, located just steps from the private beach. We have a Queen-size bed in the bedroom, a sofabed (queen-size) that can be used.
New 2009 & 2010!!!! Sheets and towels will be provided starting this summer at no additional cost, for weekly rentals.
We have been improving every year since 2004, when we moved in this community and are constantly trying to better accommodate our guests. It has been a great help for us to hear suggestions from our guests.
Modern, comfortable furniture, most new appliances, TVs (one in the bedroom as well), 2 VCRs and a DVD player. Cable TV has over 100 channels to choose from including news, sports, music, and movie channels. Cable(fast speed) modem is available now.
New 2009!!!! Digital cable and HD TV is here. 8 High Definitions Channels, ESPN, ESPN2, NBC, FOX,PBS.
New 2010!!!! HBO channels will be available June-Sept
We remodeled the bathrooms and added new ceramic tile floor in the kitchen.
The community has eleven outdoor swimming pools, two of those located at each end of the building, and two indoor pools, one on east side, where our condominium is located and one in Sea Colony West. Shuttles are provided all day long for convenience, during season.
There are two modern, well equipped fitness centers in Sea Colony East and West, opened between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, year round. For people interested in tennis, there is Sea Colony Tennis Club which has 34 tennis courts, four indoor (open year round, as well), 18 hard, and 12 fast dry. Four brand new hard courts just steps away in front of our building. Play or take a lesson or a clinic. No fee to play, just have to call and reserve time for indoor or hard thru courts.
Restaurants and cafes are within walking distance... also shopping close by. Rent a bike nearby and explore the Resort and Bethany Beach. A variety of beach and water activities are available nearby, on the ocean or bayside.
Since 2006, there is a small convenience store in our building, first floor. Snacks, drinks and some beach supplies.

My family of 3 stayed at Valentina's condo in the Brandywine Building the week of July 23 to 30. When we first walked into the condo we could see the great view of the ocean. This made my day. The condo was furnished and decorated very nicely. I found the paint colors on the walls to be very relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped. We were in Bethany with 9 other familys from the Pittsburgh, PA area. Our time spent there was perfect. Sea Colony keeps all their grounds clean. The tennis courts are great to have so close by. It is a short walk to town and there are great restaurants nearby. I would like to thank Valentina for the little gift bag. Also, it was great to have the key pad to enter into the condo, so much better than having keys. Having use of the locker was great to, it helped not having to carry all our sandy beach stuff into the room everyday.

Quiet, secluded cozy one bedroom with amazing ocean view! Walking distance to Bethany Beach where one can enjoy concerts at the bandstand, ice cream, and people watching. Forget something ? Convient store three flights down. Listing was exactly as advertised, and owner was very helpful on the telephone. Would definately recomment to friends/relatives.

Valentina's Brandywine condo at Bethany Beach is just perfect. This was the third year we stayed here and we will continue to come back. The condo is clean and comfy. It is close to the beach. It is perfect for a small family. We love sitting out on the balcony. The sight and sound of the beach is just beautiful. It is so nice having the swimming pool right there if you would like to take a dip in the pool and not the ocean,. The condo has everything you need and more. The kitchen is stocked with all the cookware and items you need. Valentina continues to update and add to the condo. This year there was a new couch in the living room and new tv in the bedroom. It is nicely decorated and it feels like home when you are there, Can't wait until next year to come back again. We really liked the key pad entry this year. If one of us went out we didn't have to worry about who had the key. Valentina is a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for renting us your condo once again!!

Valentina made this short notice rental so easy...less than a week's notice and not one problem! Location is great for the beach and the tennis center. There are also courts right outside the building. Loved the convenient parking spot in a protected area. Nice, modern furnishings and appliances, great for the 2 of us but enough room for 4 people. Valentina's unit is the best value we've found at Bethany Beach. The condo was just as described on the website: clean, roomy, well-stocked kitchen, and a fantastic location. We were just steps from the pool and ocean, and could easily walk to the boardwalk and near-by restaurants. Sea Colony's amenities were a hit with our family: we used the basketball courts and pool regularly, and the property's trails were great for bike riding. (Plenty of space in the garage bike rack to lock ours up.) Valentina made communication easy, and provided all the directions we needed for a comfortable stay.

Valentina, The condo was very nice and the amenities of Sea Colony were great. Our two children, along with my wife and I had a wonderful vacation. Bethany boardwalk was a short walk away and the bonfire was a nice way to wind down our week. The weather was a bit warm but being so close to the water, we did not mind the heat at all. We will definitely be back. Also, Valentina is a great owner to deal with, she made the entire process very easy and well organized! Thank you. Nick

Nice accomodations, comfortable bed also it was great that sheets and towels were included - one less thing we had to pack. The locker downstairs was great to have - we didn't have to worry about bringing much upstairs or put things in the car. Great parking spot, just outside the elevator. Thank you!

My partner and I just spent a weekend at this wonderful condo! Its the perfect size for 2-4 people, and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed being able to see the beach from the balcony and being able to walk there within a few minutes. The condo was quiet, the beach was beautiful, and all of the staff on the property were really helpful. Sea Colony has a ton of stuff to do, and if we had stayed longer we wouldve certainly taken advantage of it. The owners were friendly and easy to work with and I would certainly rent from them again.

We stayed here last year and loved it. It was our first time visiting Bethany Beach and we really liked that it was a family beach. We asked our son what he wanted to do for vacation this year and he said he wanted to go back to Bethany Beach. I didn't even consider staying anywhere else but at Valentina's condo. We really liked it and it was just the right size for a family of three. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evening and my husband who is an early bird, enjoyed sitting out there in the morning reading.
