This is one bedroom condominium, located just steps from the private beach. We have a Queen-size bed in the bedroom, a sofabed (queen-size) that can be used.

New 2009!!!! Sheets and towels will be provided starting this summer at no additional cost.

We have been improving every year since 2004, when we moved in this community and are constantly trying to better accommodate our guests. It has been a great help for us to hear suggestions from our guests.
Modern, comfortable furniture, most new appliances, TVs (one in the bedroom as well), 2 VCRs and a DVD player. Cable TV has over 100 channels to choose from including news, sports, music, and movie channels. Cable(fast speed) modem is available now.

New 2009!!!! Digital cable and HD TV is here. 8 High Definitions Channels, ESPN, ESPN2, NBC, FOX,PBS.

The community has eleven outdoor swimming pools, two of those located at each end of the building, and two indoor pools, one on east side, where our condominium is located and one in Sea Colony West. Shuttles are provided all day long for convenience, during season.

There are two modern, well equipped fitness centers in Sea Colony East and West, opened between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm. For people interested in tennis, there is Sea Colony Tennis Club which has 34 tennis courts, four indoor, 18 hard, and 12 fast dry. Four brand new hard courts just steps away in front of our building. Play or take a lesson or a clinic.

Restaurants and cafes are within walking distance... also shopping close by. Rent a bike nearby and explore the Resort and Bethany Beach. A variety of beach and water activities are available nearby, on the ocean or bayside.

Since 2006, there is a small convenience store in our building, first floor. Snacks, drinks and some beach supplies.

  • Spent 5 days here in early fall. My family and I had a great time here. The owner is very nice and very accomodating. Having access to the beach locker was a great feature. The welcome basket was also a very thoughtful touch. Condo was very clean and convenient to everything. I highly recommend renting from this owner.

  • Stayed for a week in early July 2009. The condo is in a great location cause it is on the east side of Rte 1. One thing I liked about the Sea Colony beach is that they seem to have paid to have that large tractor-type machine sift through their sand to remove the larger shell pieces and rocks. If you go just south to Middlesex or north to Dewey the sand is composed of more 'stuff' and this can interfer slightly with feet, knees, elbows, children, etc if you like to run about or play games. Not really that big a factor in the overall picture but it was noticed and appreciated (especially if you like volleyball). The kitchen is small...but who needs a big kitchen on Vacation? The main point is that I was glad to see it had everything you would ever need: microwave, blender, coffee maker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fire extinguisher (for bachelor cooking incidents ;), all manner of pots/pans, etc. There is cable TV, internet and numerous spare books for leisure reading. Even an ironing board I had to use once. The AC works great or you can go with the sturdy, locking, reinforced front screen door so as to enjoy a wonderful flow through of the ocean air. They have bike racks to lock your bikes. The tennis courts are great and you can also access the Sea Colony west-side 'clay' courts. I also used west-side's very good fitness center to work off the boardwalk fries and funnel cakes. Only one small weakness is if you happen to bring two cars. There is one designated spot for the unit which is nice and close to the elevators.... and then you have permission to use any one of the general un-assigned spots for the other car. This area of Sea Colony east has only about 10 'un-assigned' spots so if you haven't captured one of these you may have to walk 200 yds south to find one other vacant parking spot for the second car. I agree with the other comment I see listed with the praise for the beach locker. The owner has filled this with 3-4 beach chairs and this saved my group from having to fill up the car and bring them all the way from home or rent them at the beach. Sea Colony also has regular swimming pools, volleyball nets and swing sets for younger ones. And they put on a campfire at the beach about 2 nights a week (one of these has free marshmellows supplied for the kids) The best aspect of this unit is its location. Go down the elevator and walk maybe 80 steps and you are on the beach.

  • First of all you wont find a more pleasant owner then Valentina. She's very easy to talk to which made reservations a snap!! This is truly a great owner that cares about her clients. Pros to renting this condo: * Hardwood or tile throughout. Makes for easy cleaning and upkeep. * HDTV is a must when you have kids. Every show from spongebob to disney. * Convience: The parking space is directly in front of the building for easy loading and unloading. * The room 403b Brandywine faces the 4 out door courts which I used every day and night(Lit until 10pm) It's also a stop for the tram and King Transports,which doesnt stop at each building, is very useful for the other ammenties(Fishing/Workout/Pools/Playgrounds and other Tennis Courts. * Free internet access from the room. * Beach Locker!! Whew no more carrying everything back to the room. The locker held 5 chairs,Umbrella, and all kids sand equipment and still had room for a boogie board and towels if you wish. The room has updated appliances. When you come off the elevator your a few feet from the pool and the beach. My family enjoyed every minute.

  • This condo was perfect for our family of 3. The accomodations are terrific, the location is great (on the beach, walkable to town, bike rental and excellent crab house just blocks away) and the amenities (pools, fitness facilities, sundry shop, tennis courts, small playground) were all great. We were in Bethany for a friend reunion and a large part of our group was in a large house less than a mile away, I was really happy though to have our own space. The condo itself had everything we needed - the kitchen was well stocked, linens were provided at no extra cost (which was a big deal since we were flying from Colorado), and the technology was up to date with DVD player and wireless internet. We did spend about 15 minutes trying to figure out how to get the cable/satellite to work on the TV in the living room (a 1-page instruction sheet would have been helpful) but we got it up and going and then had no problems. I would recommend this condo to anyone although if you have 2 or more kids over the age of 8, the accomodations might be a bit snug since they would have to share the pull-out couch. Finally, Valentina was a wonderful host and all of her instructions were right on point. THANKS FOR A GREAT WEEK!

Your condo was just perfect for three of us including our 7-year-old daughter. My wife could not stop talking about how your kitchen was well supplied with nice cookware and wanted me to thank you especially for the “sharp/working” cooking knives! We also appreciated your professionalism during the rental process and we certainly hope to stay at your condo again in the future. P.S.   • Thank you for renting us your condo. Things were very clean and organized upon our arrival. The convenience of the location was great...close to the elevator, parking, pool and beach. Having two younger children with us...this was a positive. The only suggestion I have would be to provide a family of four more than four towels and one hand towel for a weeks stay...especially if they are paying the extra price for towels and linens for the week. Everything else though ranks very high with us!!
