Kythira, Island of Aphrodite and one of the last unspoiled corners of Greece, awaits you to experience authentic Greek life. This Island, with its varied landscape, lies four miles from the southern tip of the Peloponnesus.

Tucked away on the edge of a traditional Greek Village is a restored 18th century house. Overlooking a beautiful valley with views extending toward Crete, this three bedroom, two bathroom house offers comfortable accommodations (up to six guests) for a unique island experience. Features include stone floors, three fireplaces, barrel-vaulted living space, roof terrace, and a small garden. Pets are NOT allowed and No Smoking.

Kythira Island is a quiet gem, unaffected by the development and tourism as seen in many other parts of Greece today. It is 20 miles long and 12 miles at its widest point with a year round population of 3000. Its many unspoiled and deserted beaches are minutes away and countless centuries-old villages will reward the curious and adventuresome traveler. The island also boasts numerous restaurants conveniently located in or near the Island's three main towns. Potomos, Kythira's commercial center, is only four miles away.

Other features of the Island include:
* Monasteries and churches (some in spectacular settings).
* Museums of both Classical (Chora) and Byzantine Art (Livadi).
* Byzantine Ruins.
* Cave of Agia Sophia (large cave with stalactites and stalagmites).
