    Our family stayed at the Hummingbird Haven during a spring ski trip. As soon as we pulled up we collectively said "Wow - this place is great". Our opinion only got better as we got settled in for our stay. Plenty of room, well outfitted and an incredible setting. Mary (the owner) is super responsive on correspondence and is very nice to work with. The next time we're in this area, our first choice would be to stay at Hummingbird Haven.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    My husband and I are from Santa Fe, NM and we have been to Pagosa numerous times trying out different cabins. This cabin is our favorite! The location is perfect! This cabin was so cozy, clean and not to mention comfortable beds! We definitely will come back! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! God Bless!

    This was out 2nd stay at Hummingbird and we loved it again. Took some new day trips, got weekly passes to the Springs and enjoyed the scenery. Thank you for a wonderful home. Hope to be back again.

    We spent 4 days at Wolf Creek and a day in Mesa Verde/Durango. This is our first time to southern Colorado and we had a blast! We received 6" of fresh powder on April 2nd at Wolf Creek and the skiing was awesome...one of the best ski days I've had in a long while! On the 5th we checked out Mesa Verde (love the history in that area) and we spent about 3 hours with Outlaws Outfitters in Durango. We took an ATV tour and the owner has some extensive historical background of this area. Not only does he know the area but he is the great nephew of Butch Cassidy. While in Durango, go eat at "Seriously Texas" which is a BBQ restaurant....great atmosphere and great food. Relax on the deck out back and watch the river float by.

    This is our 2nd visit to Pagosa--stayed at Hummingbird Haven both times!! Absolutely beautiful country. Wolf Creek had awesome snow for ski conditions. Kids loved being here. Looking forward to coming back next year.

    This was our first time here and we loved it. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for for our Colorado experience. The location allowed us to enjoy Wolf Creek ski area for a day as well as have a great time at the San Juan Roadhouse bar. On this weekend we were fortunate enough to reunite with cousins and sisters we hadn't seen in a while. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful place with us.

    We spent so much time on the slopes at Wolf Creek that we really didn't spend much time in this beautiful cabin. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and the furnishings allowed us to rest after a tough day on the slopes. A huge bonus was the ability to cook dinner and not need to drive into town. We loved the layout of the cabin so much that we took photos to help us plan our cabin design in Florissant, CO. Sure wish I knew who your builder was because we just love it. We had a wonderful time at your 2nd home. Thank you so much for sharing it with us and the property management does a wonderful job keeping this in great shape.

    Our stay here was so pleasant. The kids loved the snow! The cabin is so cozy and perfect. I love that the cabin is furnished with all cooking supplies. It makes it so nice. Thank you to all who keep the cabin running! Happy New Year and hope to be back next year.

    This cabin was just what we wanted for our visit. The hummingbirds and the twinkling stars were the biggest hit. Very happy for the WIFI too! I'd love to come here when it snows just to hibernate here! Thank you for your lovely cabin! We feel so lucky, deer were here in the back to greet us when we arrived and bid farewell when we left! Several days of gorgeous rainbows too!

    Your cabin is fabulous! It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay in it, but...we wished we could have stayed longer. Hopefully our next trek to Colorado will be for a whole week, or maybe even two. There is just too much to see and do while in the Pagosa Springs area. We did manage to kick back a little bit and enjoy early mornings and evenings sitting on the cabin's back deck watching hummers fight over the feeders, and an occasional Osprey diving for its supper in the river and pond below. During the day we hiked nearby trails through woods that looked more like a jungle than a pine forest. Our favorite hikes were up to the Four Mile Waterfall and Opal Lake. The Wolf Creek Pass is a short drive from the cabin and is breath taking. We definitely recommend staying in the Hummingbird Haven cabin. PS -- Our bed was comfy!

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    Your cabin is perfect for our quiet, cool get away. We love the design of the logs and attention to detail that make it so authentic and comforting Pagosa downtown on a Sunday afternoon was bustling with families having a wonderful day tubing in the San Juan and enjoying the springs and shops. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us on our 45th! Mixed up a batch of nectar for the hummingbirds--it was gone in a day! It looked like a soccer match...very entertaining!!

    I loved Pagosa. It was so pretty. The hot springs were amazing! They felt so good. I loved watching the hummingbirds. They were so cool. My Dad wants feeders and a pet hummingbird now! Thanks a billion!

    I love Pagosa. It was very fun. I love the hot springs here. Love, Nora (age 7) P.S. I liked waching the hummingbirds. We enjoyed this place, the cabin was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. My favorite part of Pagosa is the river and the hot springs. Luke(age 13)

    This is our first stay at Hummingbird Haven and it is wonderful! We so enjoyed watching the little birds, the views and peacefulness of the area. The cabin is perfect and we hope to come again.     We just enjoyed a nice long weekend here at Pagosa Springs, but more so at Wolf Creek. We spent 2 full days skiing and had a great time. We don't want to leave! The cabin was perfect for our family. Thanks so much for making it so lovely and cozy!

    We love Hummingbird Haven! It was the perfect cozy cabin for our romantic honeymoon! We enjoyed some adventures that Pagosa has to offer, including snowmobiling, steam train in Durango and snowboarding at Wolf Creek. We enjoyed a romantic dinner at the Alley House, which lived up to all of its great reviews. And of course, the Springs! Two of our favorite days were lazying around your beautiful cabin. It's so comfortable and has EVERYTHING we needed, the details are really appreciated! We definitely hope to come back soon, and in the future with our family!

    What a great cabin you have. Our family enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday at the Hummingbird Haven. It was our granddaughter's first trip to the mountains and she loved it. The warmth and comfort your cabin offered is my idea of camping. Thank you for sharing Hummingbird Haven.

    Thank you so much for getting us into your cabin on such short notice! The weather was wonderful, the cabin is amazing, and this area is very special. We spent the first day visiting Treasure Falls and the Continental Divide, the second day, drove up to Silver Falls and made some s'mores in the San Juan National Forest off Fawn Gulch Rd. We spent our last day visiting town, then hanging out by the river. The whole family had a great time and the memories will last a lifetime! Thanks again for sharing this little piece of heaven with us.

    We had a great visit with out 3 children. They helped us celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. It was a nice, quiet location....very quiet at night and very peaceful. Enjoyed the CO weather very much. Our family was all here to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary. They have celebrated most of their anniversaries in Colorado over the years. My sister, her husband and I stayed here in Hummingbird Haven with my parents. My brother and his family camped higher up in the mountains. On Saturday, July 24th we had 12 of us here in the cabin. We threw a fabulous beautiful party. It was so wonderful!!

    We loved the cabin so much! Our two girls played and played and played. The loft was a restaurant, vet clinic, store, daycare--they loved it! We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds dive bomb every morning. Pagosa Springs is a beautiful place. We took a lot of day trips and it was so nice to come home to this cabin. We loved the hot springs, the cold San Juan, the waterfalls and most of all, having this "haven" to come home to. Thanks!

    Once again, we had a lovely time here in your cabin. Pagosa Springs is such a beautiful place. The people are so friendly! We loved the fishing, rafting the San Juan and all the beautiful walks and hikes. What a wonderful getaway! We're here from South Texas and it was definitely a nice break from the heat. The weather was pretty every day, but slightly chilly at times. They even called for a freeze since we arrived. This was our family vacation and our daughter's senior trip. What a fantastic place you have...definitely a home away from home. Thank you for the use of Hummingbird Haven. We can't wait to come again! By the way, our 3 daughters love the loft.

We took our kids (4,7) skiing 2 days in PERFECT weather at Wolf Creek and another great day was spent at the hot springs. Our kids loved the loft, especially since they got their own T.V. to watch. They played for hours on end in the big pile of snow out front. It was just the vacation we needed. We also noticed that you sponsored a soldier through the Wounded Warrior Project, we think that's great!!!!

    We loved Wolf Creek. The skiing was great and the views were amazing. We snowmobiled and soaked 2 times at the mineral springs! We liked Boss Hoggs for dinner! Try the early bird special.     Mary & LeRoy, Thank you for sharing your home! After the noise and pollution of Phoenix, I enjoyed the peace & amazing quiet here! I haven't slept so good in months!     Mary & LeRoy,Thank you for sharing your home! After the noise and pollution of Phoenix, I enjoyed the peace & amazing quiet here! I haven't slept so good in months! The view was great and I loved watching the sun rise every morning. I'm so glad you had a last-minute cancellation so I could experience this lovely place.

    We arrived late Monday night after several overworked weeks. It was wonderful to sleep in such a peaceful place with the sun streaming in the next morning. We saw a bald eagle fly by yesterday and took a chilly but lovely walk along the river this morning. We've stayed at lots of VRBO's and we will definitely be back here. Thank you for providing such a sweet haven for retreat from a busy world.
