This condominium, the Harbour House is ocean view in Dana Point, Orange County is located just across from the public beach access to the Steps to Stand Beach. It is a pool-side, two-bedroom unit with accommodatons for four or five. It has a king, queen an additional family room with French doors. The unit has been professionally decorated. The furnishings combine gorgeous pine, teak, marble, and glass with a color scheme focusing on natural sands and sea shades. You step from the front porch and there is a beautiful ocean view.
The ocean is also visable from the family room. This unit is approximately 1250 square feet, has an outside entrance, and is located on the ground level.
Sitting atop of the Famous Dana Point Headlands, you will enjoy the smell of the sea air, with nothing between you and the ocean except eucalyptus and palm trees. Public beach access to the private and secluded STRANDS BEACH is via stairs in the County Park directly across the street. From the family room and front porch great ocean view for you to enjoy. The beach is the same beach the guests at the Ritz Carlton and St. Regis guests use just down the street.
The master bedroom offers a private bath with double sinks, a luxurious king-size bed, and a private patio overlooking the pool. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, and has access to he main bath eacj bedroom has a nice TV. The modern, light and bright, completely-equipped kitchen adjoins an elegant dining room with seating for six and a private patio area as well. A separate den with French doors for priviacy, has a big-screen TV and a giant down-stuffed sectional for the ultimate relaxation experience. The entire condominium has white-wood plantation shutters.

Why the Owner Chose Monarch Beach
The Unique Benifits of The Harbour House is the location. On one side is the pool and on the other side is the ocean view you can enjoy from that condo. We are just across from three lookout points. 1) There is a public access entrances directly across from the condo 2) beautiufl walking trails and pathways to Strand Beach just steps away 3) trails around the Headlands and around the ocean. There is a variety of animals in this area that you may spot on your walk. The wonderful views of the ocean and the beach is breathtaking. We also have a Funicular, the only one in Orange County which is now in operation and free. It operates daily in the summer and on weekends off seas. It will take you down to the beach. Who can resist a beautiful condo with salt air to breath, fog horns blowing plus seals barking on the beach? You can even watch the whales swim by across from the condo. There are picnic tables waiting for you directly across from so just come and watch the sunset. A perfect place for any family.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our most unique benefit is our funicular which is similar to a ski lift that will take you to the beach fast and bring you back up from the beach or you can walk up and down our new steps, if you are a excercise buff. The funicular carries eight passengers at one time to the beach.. It is now in operation to the public. The beautiful walkway is a dream for any family to enjoy and view the sunset around 5 each evening straight across from the condo. It can be breathtaking.

The condo itself is exactly as it's images and description say. It was extremely spacious for 4 people to stay very comfortably. There was a home from home feel which was down to the care and attention to detail given by the owner. many of the neighbours were residents and were very welcoming and friendly. The owner was particularly lovely, always there on the end of the phone and nothing was too much trouble - excellent customer service. Ideal location just across the street from the beach, a clean relaxing pool and hot-tub, within baeutifully maintained surroundings. Tennis courts were available at the local school free of charge, during non school hours, which were great. It's a great base for visiting the surrounding towns of Laguna, Newport Beach and Huntington Beach, which has an interesting little market on Tuesdays between 5pm and 9pm during the holiday season. It's easy to travel further a field to Hollywood, Beverley Hills, Venice Beach, Malibu, Longbeach, the Hoover Dam and las Vegas. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone considering a holiday in this area.

This condo was very clean, had an excellent location and was extremely quiet. Within 200 yards of the Ocean Front and $10,000,000 dollar homes on the ocean sands ( The Strand Beach ). Lots of room for 6 or so people, but only the two of us. Includes all the ammenities you could ever need except wine! Owner very assessable and friendly. Easy access to condo from parking and walking from street. Ocean view from front sitting area. Easy ride to Laguna Beach and Dana Point Harbor just off PCH. Nice breeze to cool condo all times during the day from the Ocean. Highly recommended as one of the best values for the money. Recommended for: adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway

Our stay at the Harbour House was perfect, just like the first time we stayed there. It truly is a home away from home. If we had a question about anything it was taken care of immediately. We received the remainder of our deposit only a few days after getting back home. Betha is a great hostess and always has your best interest in mind. Good morning! My husband and I wanted to thank you for such a wonderful and enjoyable stay. The accommodations were exquisite and the location was incredible, thank you for the Christmas decorations too. My husband now wants to move to Dana Point! Me too. Your hospitality was so warm and your condo is so inviting, I hope I can keep your contact information on file, we would love to stay there again. We stayed @ the Harbour House condo from Sept 30-Oct 9/10 We thought the property and the surrounding area was just great. The condo itself was exactly as shown. Very clean and there was everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Loved, loved the bed in the master,,,,,super comfortable. The Dana Point area is really beautiful and we explored all the surrounding area. We went to Laguna Beach, San Clemente (for Mexican food& Chato's). San Juan Capistrano Mission, Palm Springs, San Diego (Mission Beach) Cannon's Restaurant (overlooks Dana Point Harbour) Excellent food. All and all we had a wonderful vacation and would love to visit there again.
