Nice accommodations for our fall trip

Stayed at Jan's unit for a long weekend in mid-October with the wife and 2 kids. The condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked making it easy to prepare our own meals, plus it had a nice selection of games an movies for entertainment. Jan was super easy to work with and we'd definitely rent from her again. Steamboat is an amazing place. Activity highlights included a walking around Pearl Lake campground near Steamboat Lake and a hike along the Mad Creek, both off CR129 (Elk River Road). We also enjoyed a bike ride along the Yampa river and watching the afternoon ski jump training at Howelsen Hill. Great restaurants included Rex's (in the Holiday Inn of all places), breakfast at Winona's, and sandwiches from Backcountry Provisions. In mid-October we missed the peak fall colors, but there was still plenty of gorgeous colors to be seen. Mornings were cold, but temperatures rose quickly into the sixties before noon. Everything downtown appeared to be open, and being the off season it was easy to find parking and get into restaurants with little or no wait.

Hi Jan! We loved your condo! Very homey...lots of creature comforts. We had such a blast in Steamboat. We went horseback riding at Hahn's Peak -sooo beautiful. We hiked to the top of Fish Creek Falls and ran the Yampa! Wow! What a trip! Thanks!

Wonderful condo & wonderful time in Steamboat. We were here 10 years ago and it seems like it's grown so much! The condo was wonderful & we enjoyed all of the little extras we would find when opening a drawer - laundry soap, cards, movies, safeway coupon, coupon books, baby bottle (we didn't need it thankfully!!), etc. Nice to have a little slice of home on our vacation.

Very nice, clean, well maintained condo. The full size washer and dryer are big bonuses. The kitchen was also very useful especially since all of the appliances are practically brand new. We came to Steamboat for the Triple Crown World Series and would recommend the use of this condo for any family.

Condo was very comfortable and everything worked well. TV's in all rooms, enjoyed the available DVD's. Humidifiers were very much appreciated as we are not used to the dry air. Kitchen was well equipped. Also found condo to be very clean. There is a bus stop right outside the condo community and buses ran very timely to and from ski resort. Lots to do in Steamboat - skiing is excellent. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

A very comfortable condo, which worked well for us. Loved the gas fireplace and the full size washer/dryer was great for getting some laundry done. The condo was very well stocked with items like ketchup and salad dressings available in the fridge! Had a little difficulty getting online when I tried wireless, but Jan stopped by and showed me where the ethernet unit was to plug in and then it worked great. And the ethernet cord was provided, which was very handy for people who are used to wireless. Thank you for being so accomodating, Jan. We enjoyed your place. Carol

Nice place convenient to resort. Great value for the money. Was a little concerned about not having on site management, but condo owner went out of her way to make everything work. Great job! Will stay with you again in the future

Thanks Jan.This 2 BR condo was perfect for my wife, two teenage kids and me. We had a terrific long weekend in Steamboat Springs and the condo was a great fit. Our family of four really enjoyed our weekend stay in Steamboat Springs and this 2 bedroom condo was a great fit for us. Nice TV, DVD player and CD player. Great hot tub and heated pool. Nice interior design. We'll be back! Chris --- Centennial, Colorado

Thank-you Jan for our pleasant stay at your conveniently located condo with a reasonable rate. Your condo heats up quickly and the 2 queen beds made it really comfortable. We went to Strawberry Hot Springs one night which is always sweet. Had great food, including lunch at The Creekside Cafe, dinner at the Mahoganey Grill and an italian place next to the Creekside, I forget the name, all was fantastic.
