A brand new custom built home nestled in beautiful Hawthorne Valley; minutes from Snowshoe Resort and The Raven Golf Course.
This Arts & Craft-style home features a bright, expansive Great Room/Dining Room/Kitchen area, walls of windows, stone fireplace (gas), magnificent views of Hawthorne Valley, Raven's 11th fairway, and the Snowshoe Ridge from the large rear decks, gourmet kitchen, Jacuzzi tub in the Master bath, and plenty of room to relax and enjoy the mountain's solitude. Easy winter access from State Route 66; no 4 wheel drive vehicle required to reach "Pleasant Meadow".
The Master suite is on the main floor with a large private deck and a Master bath with two separate vanity/sinks, granite floor, and a large Jacuzzi tub. There is a lovely second bedroom on the main floor with a Queen-sized bed and an adjacent full bath. A sleeper sofa is available in the spacious den. The walk-out basement boasts a large TV/rec-room with a sleeper sofa and two bedrooms down the hall, one has a Queen-size bed, and the other has one bunk bed and a single bed.
The basement bath has a two-vanity sink and plenty of room to accommodate all of the downstairs guests. There are 4 satellite TV/VCR/DVD units throughout the home: one in the Den, Master bedroom, basement rec-room, and basement bunk room for the kids.

We just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at Snowshoe. Your house is beautiful and could not have suited our families any better. Thanks again for letting us in early. We just made it before the storm and really enjoyed the 8" of fresh powder! The skiing was excellent and your home was perfect.

A wonderful stay! What a nice home you have. I would not know how to improve our stay at "Pleasant Meadow". The weather was fantastic so we spent most of our time enjoying the surrounding area of Hawthorne Valley. What a great place to spend a vacation with a family of five. We love'd the space and the relaxing neighborhood.

Although the weather was less than desirable, we had an absolutely great time. The skiing was still great and all 7 kids learned how to ski for the first time with unbelievable success! I just wanted to let you know that your "Pleasant Meadow" home was absolutely wonderful. Last year this same group stayed in a Summit Condo and you can imagine everyone's amazement in your home. The pictures on the Internet do not do it justice. It didn't even bother anyone that we had rain on Sunday morning, as we all enjoyed just staying in the house and playing games and watching videos. I look forward to our return later in February.
