We adored our time here, made extra special by Nate and Donna, such lovely hosts. The apartment is decorated in such a cute seaside fashion and has all the accessories and appointments one could want for a fun week near the shore. Bed was VERY comfortable, and we love the bright kitchen and airy deck where we spent alot of time enjoying reading after a busy day. I would highly recommend Lil Palmetto to anyone who wants to enjoy all the fun of Highway 30A without being stuck in all the traffic!

Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

As we ease into the driveway of this beautiful carriage house, we pretend that we have arrived at our second home. Once we found this rental we have never stayed anywhere else in the area, even though we love to explore. We know and admit when we have found perfection. It has become our married couple retreat, as well as our mother/daughter tradition. The bikes are wonderful and can take you on a short ride to restaurants, shopping, and bike trails all around. Comfortable beach chairs and umbrellas are provided and the beautiful, uncrowded beach is only a short walk away. The pool is perfect and situated in the middle of a paradise of beautiful trees, flowers, lounge chairs, and even a hammock to relax on. The house is sparkling clean and very comfortable. The owners are a delight and have provided everything to assure a pleasant and happy stay for their guests. Enjoy it as much as we do, but please take good care of it. Remember, it is our second home now!

Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I spent two weeks here hoping for a relaxing, fun getaway. Well it was more than we had hoped for! Our private apartment was so nicely decorated. Everything was clean and comfy. We wanted to take the bed home with us! The air conditioning worked great and the kitchen was equipped with all our needs. Donna and Nate were such gracious host and hostess. We feel like we made new friends! They gave us full use of the private pool, grill and hammock swing. What we loved the most was the use of the bicycles. We rode them every day. The beaches are all beautiful and downtown seaside is so much fun. I honestly can't think of one negative thing to say about the whole visit, except that we had to go home.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husand and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we loved every minute of it. Mr. Nate and Mrs. Donna were wonderful hosts. Their property is so beautiful. The pool was gorgeous. The sand path to the beach was so tropical and very easy to use. They thought of everything you may need to stock the house and make is a wonderful home away from home. They even have easy to carry beach chairs and bikes (including an air pump!) ready for use. They knew it was our honeymoon so they had a gift waiting on us when we arrived. That was so thoughtful and appreciated and just shows you how much they appreciate their guest. We will definitely come back. Loved every minute of staying here.

Lil Palmetto is wonderful! The pictures do not do the carriage home justice- it is very nice inside with all you will need for a memorable beach trip! The owners are gracious hosts that are very happy to share their paradise with you. The beach is just a short walk and the beach chairs and umbrella are a wonderful bonus! We would recommend Lil' Palmetto to any couple wanting some time away!

I felt the description of the place was miss leading. The grill and outdoor shower are right next to the main house, so we didn't use it. The place is over a garage and you can't see the ocean. But on the bright side, the walk to the beach was only a block away, and they supplied great chairs beach towels and a huge umbrella. The beach entrance has a shower and hose to get the sand off. I loved the interior of the place. It was beachie, cute and cozy.

This beautiful rental is almost like a secret you don't want to share. It is the perfect get-away and you will not be able to find nicer owners! Everything is exceptional including cleanliness. We did not want to leave and I am certain that we will visit again and again. It is so close to all the excitement of the area, yet it is nicely tucked away at the same time. We give this rental perfect marks!

Lil' Palmetto is a great place to come and relax! My boyfriend and I took a long weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. The house is clean, close to the beach, and perfect for couples!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Lil Palmetto over Labor Day and had a great time. It was perfect for a couple. The place was very cozy, clean, and cute. I would definitely come back. It's very close to Seaside and walking distance to the beach.

What an adorable place to get away from the kids/job/etc. The cottage had everything we needed plus more! We truly enjoyed the amenities and the close proximity to the beach as well as to Seaside, Secreast, Rosemary Beach etc. This was our first visit to the area but certainly not our last.

We had a great time at Lil'Palmetto! It is adorable and a perfect size for two people. The kitchen was fantastic to cook in! The location is ideal to walk to the beach and explore all that South Walton has to offer. It's also a fantastic deal!
