We had an outstanding time at this property. We rented the townhouse for a couple of days to celebrate our daughter's Sweet 16 birthday with 5 of her friends. This property had plenty of room & activities to keep the girls occupied. The townhouse is very clean, nicely decorated, well-maintained & is only minutes away from Big Boulder. Everyone had a very memorable time here.

My wife, 2 young children and I spent an October weekend here, and really enjoyed ourselves. The unit is very large and it's nice to have a giant plasma TV in the living room. We would recommend this unit to others and plan to rent here again.

The house is very versatile and our group really enjoyed themselves. Everything in the kitchen to help prepare meals on the stove and grill were very convenient. The billiard room was a nice touch. Everything was excellent- I could only have asked for a larger alotment of paper towels and gabage bags, and soap for the showers.

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful end town unit. The kids enjoyed watching the chipmunks and deer come right to the back porch as well as watching tv in every room! The house was beautiful and the photos didn't really show all of its wonderful features. The mountain club passes are a definite bonus to this rental. The pool, beach, and lake was enjoyable for all of us. During our stay, we went to Camelback waterpark which was only 25 minutes away and Knoebels which was 1 hour 10 minutes. But, well worth the drives!!!Renting this property is easy and the owners are super nice! We would surely come again. Thank you for a excellent vacation.

We stayed in this house for a week, summer 2011. The house and location are fabulous. We travelled from Ireland and it was our first time in these mountains. We were blown away by the scenery and the wildlife that really did come right up to the house! A great family activity was white water rafting at Jim Thorpe. Camel Beach was another great family day out. Our children were aged 11 to 20 so they could do their own thing there (mostly). The lakeside club was also very well used by our group. The inflated trampoline was wonderful and provided lots of fun. We met lovely people there. However we were not very impressed by the service or food at the attached Tavern. We would much rather recommend the BBQ on the deck and sweet baby ray marinade sauce!! We had a really lovely time in this house and the comfort of the bedrooms and the living area was very much appreciated when we came home from a day packed with activities. Also much appreiated was the welcome wine left by the owners! We would recommend this house and location very highly to anyone who wants to have a fun filled day and a relaxed evening in a very cosy, spacious and comfortable house.

We have rented the townhouse on Laurelwood for five years --and enjoyed every day of our trip. The house is clean, and well equiped for a vacationing family. The accomodations are spacious, and up to date - the furniture is comfortable and attractive. The end unit allows plenty of light and the views are great - :You can see the runs at Big Boulder from one room. The main area and dining area have wooded views. The parking area is close to the home and easy to use - in addition to the parking spots in front of the garage. The garage is excellent for storing sking and snowboarding "stuff". We found the location pefect - close to sking, resturants, and easy to reach. Our stays have been in the winter, but I can imagine that the summer - with access to the lake and all the water sports - and the great deck and grill --would be fun too!! Caryn and Mike have been pleasant to work with and really maintain the house. I would hightly recommend chosing this house for your family vacation!

We rented this house for a long weekend in January. There were 7 of us - 2 couples and 3 kids. The amount of space was just right and we all fit comfortably in the main floor living area and kitchen. The house is a split level property and one bedroom is located on the ground floor. The master bedroom is spacious and is located on the main level. Two more bedrooms are located on the second floor. The easiness of the rental process was amazing and Michael was very easy to work with.

My family and I stayed here the weekend of Aug 12th-15th. We had a really great time and was very comfortable in Mike and Caryn's home. The house is very well kept and nicely decorated. Our family was a large party-- 7 adults and 1 baby-- 1 pair of grandparents, 2 married couples, 1 adult single and 1 baby. We enjoyed the pool table in the basement and the tennis courts outside, and the proximity of the house to nearby golf courses and outlet shopping. Having TVs in the rooms and the wi-fi were nice amenities for us-- we were always entertained and felt very much at home! The kitchen was nicely stocked and we did all of our cooking at the house, and never had any issues with the appliances. We did not stay in the ground floor as we had originally planned, the upstairs rooms were much nicer-- not to say that the ground floor room was not nice, it was clean and nicely kept, but we did prefer using the other rooms because the ground floor did feel a bit cold and dark like a basement.
Owner response:We just completed (Nov 21, 2010) a major upgrade on the lower floor, adding French drains (to remove the "basement feel"), new carpet and fresh paint! The basement is now as inviting as the rest of the house!
