No Fun Stay at Westgate Lakes Resort

No Parking especially adequate Handicap spaces per ration No TV Directory Coffee Maker outdated - Needs A Keurig coffee maker! No luggage dollies to move luggage from car to evaluator to room

Lots of bad surprises

Location was good for us, near the convention center. The property was clean. There were very few dishes, no actual coffee mugs, scratched furniture, broken drawer in the bedroom. The internet ended up not working the entire week. When I called they said only one device per room and they were charging $10.00 per day. Then they called back and said we could have up to four devices. This didn't matter because we couldn't connect any of our devices. I asked where the sundries store was and was given directions. It was a record low temperatures and I walked outside. I hunted for the store, and when I found it, it was closed and under construction! Nothing in the store at all. We were asked if we wanted to tour the facilities for a free breakfast buffet. We declined. They also phoned us the next day (early) and asked again. They also left a letter asking us to join the tour for up to $80.00 cash. We will not stay at Westgate Lakes again.

Very spacious!

The room was huge and the parking was convenient. I absolutely loved the kitchen and access to the nearby Walmart. I had a rental car and it was a very safe resort for parking.

Property is very expansive, tends to get crowded during peak vacation times

Suites / condos are fairly well maintained. The property is very large and tends to get very crowded. Even driving around within the premises is tough, sometimes difficult to find parking in front of your building. They have a shuttle to Universal and Islands of Adventure, which is very convenient (saves $20 everyday). Not sure if they have shuttles to the Disney parks though.
