  My wife and I rented the Hemingway House for the months of January and February. The experience could not have been more perfect. The owner was very helpful and accomodating in every respect. The home is absolutely GORGEOUS! Morning coffee on the balcony was heavenly. The location was superb- a 5 minute walk to Schooners ( Panama City's Premier beach club restaurant), and a 5 minute drive to Captain Andersons, the marina, and a very short drive to Historic St. Andrews. We can't wait to stay at the Hemingway House again soon. THANK YOU Karim!

  Reserved this house for a small family reunion. It was great!!! Had a few hiccups, but the owner was VERY quick to respond and took care of the problems immediately. Loved the pool in the back. Very relaxing!! Quiet part of town, but still close to everything. This place is even pet friendly, and my "babies" loved it! Will definitely reserve this place again!

  We had 9 people (7 adults 2 kids) in our group and everyone was very comfortable all week. The house was clean as was the pool and linens. The owner was easily accesible with any of our quesitons by phone. There is an easy walk to the beach that takes less than 3 minutes. Local beach was great and not too busy. Nearby Schooner's (Bar/grill) was a hit! We saw nice fish and a few stingrays while snorkeling right off the beach. A pontoon boat ride to Shell Island is a must (Adventrures at Sea Rentals). The house is located at the east end of the beaches so it is pretty quiet at night. 5-10 minute drive to the heart of the shopping and eatery's. Pool in back yard came in very handy. Kids had the best time. If I would recommend one or two things it would be better cookware. Fry pan is not great but served its purpose. Overall we gave it 5 stars. Hope to see you in 2013!

  We very much enjoyed our time at the Hemmingway house. The house was in good shape and had most everything we needed. The rental process was easy enough and the young lady cleaning the house when we arrived was just delightful. We had 10 guest at the house and everyone had plenty of room to be together but yet alone if they chose to. Our boys " ben and Jerry" loved going on vacation with us. They usually get left out. We will defiantly be back.. It was in a perfect location for us and very close to attractions but far enough to be out of major traffic. We loved the karaoke at the Key west lounge just up the street. Triple Js was a great place to eat. Thank you Karim for your patience. Hope to be back soon.

  There were some hurdles with the cleaning lady, the septic tank and pool but what stood out the most was the owners attention in addressing all of our concerns. The linens were not clean upon our arrival and the towels were scarce but after contacting the owner he immediately responded by sending his housekeeper who seemed high and was inexcusably rude. The owner impressively dumped her and contacted a professional service who accommodated us and provided fresh linens and towels that evening. We had some issues with the pool not filtering and the septic tank backing up which I would partly blame past vacationers for not informing the owner. Based on the owners responsiveness, I find it hard to believe he would not have addressed these issues had someone made him aware previously. It was very close to the beach and the location was a very short ride to major attractions but far enough to feel like we had some space away from the craziness of the holiday crowd. An upgrade to household supplies like newer pots and pans and adding some drawer space and a clean grill would make this a top notch vacation spot. I can not stress enough how impressive the owners response to meeting our needs were. Oh and the convenience of a private pool was pretty awesome.

  The house is a well designed and spacious house for an extended family of our size. The kids and grandkids had a great time (we did too) and the layout of the house helped that to happen. With three floors there can be good division and space between the sleeping areas. I have to say I really enjoyed the size of that shower in the master bathroom on the first floor. The kitchen was well stocked to handle our family style meals. The kids made good use of the beach chairs, toys and kick boards that were available - both at the beach and the pool. It was nice to have the pool to lounge around and to also float around in. The beach was very close (two house lots and one street). The owner was very helpful and responsive in all phases of our transactions.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers.
