ALL SEASONS in Maine are everything you'd expect and even more. Maine is an outdoor wonderland: lighthouses, fishing, lobster, wild blueberry pie, golfing, shopping outlets, whale and puffin watching, sandy beaches, colorful scenic drives, museums, hiking, boating, antiquing, and other dramatic things to see. MAINE IS SPECTACULAR! There is so much to experience and so little time that you'll probably be planning your next visit before you leave. Shed your winter blues for a first-class cabin in Maine on Big Sebago Lake this spring.
Sebago Lake is one of the cleanest bodies of water in the world. Sebago Lake is a large open lake, and the water is so clean that it provides the drinking water for Portland. The cottage is located on an acre of grassy land that slopes to a sandy beach and incredible mountain views. There is shallow water for bathing and deep water for boating.
It is CENTRALLY LOCATED in a quiet, upscale neighborhood, yet minutes away from shopping, activities, and restaurants. Your may bring or rent a boat and moor it on the mooring ball, or use the canoe. AT NIGHT, ALL WATER CRAFT MUST BE ON THE MOORING BALL OR BEACHED. If you like to fish, there is plenty of salmon, bass, and trout. Watch and listen to the loons from the comfortable rockers overlooking lovely perennial gardens. The cottage is attractively decorated, spotless, and completely furnished. There are two bedrooms and a sleeping loft with ladder access. Our rental period is from April 1 through November 2 with a one week minimum stay (Saturday to Saturday). This is a no-pet property located in an upscale neighborhood.
Sebago Lake is fun for all seasons.

STAYING HERE FEELS LIKE HOME
Bob and Marian, As they say, time flies when you're having fun and these three weeks certainly did that. As always, we had a very relaxing time even though the weather didn't cooperate. Staying here feels like home - comfy and cozy. The pies were delicious as usual. Rich and I are already looking forward to next year. Stay healthy both of you - have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas, and we'll see you next year. Take care.

PERFECT IS MORE ACCURATE
Another memorable and enjoyable week - no, perfect is more accurate - in your lovely cottage again this year. It always makes Sebago feel like it's still our vacation home again - good memories brought back and good times again - feel good "stuff" all 'round. Also, can't thank you both enough for all your special touches - garden flowers inside and out, apple pie, ice cream, and your hostess package to bring our stay to mind all through the winter months. All good wishes for a restful and happy end to your summer. The Sebago calendar and pictures will remind us each day! Best wishes, Lorraine and Ted

WATER IS VERY WARM HERE!
Dear Marian and Bob, Thank you for the welcome gift and delicious cherry pie with ice cream! Your cottage is lovely and gardens are beautiful! We enjoyed our stay very much, it was peaceful and relaxing. We stayed by the lake during the day, water is very warm here! In the afternoon we read books on the porch and would get a visit from a hummingbird every evening. You have a lovely place! Thanks again for everything!

Warm, charming, and a great place for grandchildren!!!
Warm, charming, and a great place for grandchildren!!!
Dear Bob and Marian. Here we are back home again and missing the lakefront view we so enjoyed for a week!!! Our granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed swimming and fishing and the loft was a BIG hit. Your warm welcome made us feel right at home and the pie and ice cream was much appreciated, as was the gift of bath items. You go out of your way to make renting your cottage a wonderful experience. We will remember our stay with fond memories. Wishing you the best. Chris and Ralph

Owner response: Dear Chris and Ralph, We are so pleased you and your family had an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Sebago Lake. Our young guests love the loft. It has its own unique character. For us, it's fun to observe how the children of returning families have grown over the years, and yet always find something to do at the lake. They start out with sand pails on the beach and several years later we see them boating, water skiing, and fishing. Our family has enjoyed this piece of paradise for years, and we are so pleased to have had the opportunity to share it with you folks. Best wishes, Marian and Bob

HOW MANY YEARS HAS IT BEEN?....12 - 13?
Dear Bob and Marian - How many years has it been?....12 - 13? We love coming here every summer and dream about it all winter! Even with this summer's up and down weather, it's been wonderful here, as usual. Your cottage is great and we hope to return again next summer. Thanks, too for the delicious blueberry pie and ice cream - we loved them. Have a great rest-of-summer and the winter. Thank you for your hospitality and thoughtful amenities, which made this an ideal stay.

MAKING OUR HONEYMOON PERFECT
Bob and Marian, Thank you very much for sharing your lovely cottage with us. The cottage is simply beautiful inside and out. Inside, every little detail has been taken care of which allows the cottage to truly feel like home. Outside, all the beautiful gardens only add to the wonderful beach and lake-view this cottage has. We also appreciate the honeymoon/wedding gift, pie and ice cream that helped in making our honeymoon perfect. Thanks again, Tim and Anne - New Jersey

THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS HOSPITALITY........
Bob and Marian - Thank you for your generous hospitality in allowing us to enjoy and relax at your lovely cottage. You have such a beautiful location, and all that you have done on the grounds just make me want to stay forever. I love your perennial gardens, and wish to say thank you for allowing me to work in them a while. It's so peaceful and relaxing, just to hear the birds and watch the humming birds go from one flower to another. We also feel very blessed to have been able to stay the second week - It was just what we needed. Also, thank you for the fabulous pie and ice cream, as well as your welcome gift for us! You spoil us all!! We are grateful we had the opportunity to come and we look forward to future years ahead. It was nice meeting you both and enjoyed our conversations.
