Spacious family villa set in 2.5 acres of attractive, landscaped, well maintained gardens & lawns. Long tree lined driveway leads to main entrance of the villa . Large marble entrance hall, guest cloakroom / toilet. Six spacious bedrooms-two upstairs with own balconies, 4 downstairs opening onto flower bedecked patio with fountain, (A/C available). Four full bathrooms (bath, shower, toilet) ensuite .Extra toilet. Huge living room with fire-place in main villa salon with satellite TV, VCR, Stereo CD player. Dining room, large, well equipped kitchen - gas, electric, microwave cooking, American fridge/freezer, drinks fridge. The laundry room has washing machine plus all ironing facilities. Internet, floor safe . Swimming pool 33'x 17' has optional pool heating with wide gentle steps into shallow end, equipped with diving board & slide. The pool house, situated close to the pool has toilet & shower rooms, shady bar, gas & charcoal BBQ's.
The villa is a haven of comfort, peace and tranquillity
House Managers: Jeff and Mandy live nearby and are always available, if needed .
They can provide baby sitting, taxi service, BBQ's, extra shopping. meals for your arrival .
Maid Service: The two maids, Lassera & Paqui, come twice weekly
Gardener: Iqbal comes Wednesdays
Meet and Greet service included in rental . Jeff, the caretaker, meets you in your car hire parking area, loads all your luggage into his vehicle and acts as guide car back to the villa - about 15/20 minutes

Hacienda d'Amor is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for luxury accommodation in stunning surroundings. It is very close to the traditional village of Mijas and a short drive to the coast. The villa is spacious, very well equipped and beautifully presented. We visited late April/early May and took advantage of the pool heating which meant we were able to swim everyday of our stay. There are many interesting towns and attractions within easy reach, I would recommend Ronda and Cordoba, they are not to be missed. Also, we greatly valued the help and advice given by Mandy and Jeff, the caretakers who live close by. Words do not describe the welcome, ambience, location experienced at the villa. It is fantastic.We are a group of 12 professiona, mature "ladies" who have now booked for our third visit. The friendliness, willingness to help from Mandy and Jeff is second to none, and the villa has all the facilities of home and more.The location is peaceful and private affording lovely views. The pool is perfect for lounging around and cooling off. We found the outside areas perfect and in fact had our evening meal in a different "location" each night. The village of Mijas is also delightful though a number of our party never left the wonderful villa.!!! Would certainly highly recommend for a group such as ours and would be perfect for families.Owner response: We appreciate the return of these delightful ladies who have a wonderful visit each time they come . Everything about this villa was fantastic and I can honestly say that it exceeded our expectations! We had a large family group and ages ranged from 1 - 60. The villa was really spacious and beautifully furnished and maintained. It was our first villa rental experience, and we were a little uncertain of what to expect. The owner was always extremely helpful and left no stone unturned to assist us. Location is great and it's very easy to get to beaches, restaurants, shopping etc, provided you have a car. We also made trips to Gibraltar, Granada and Morocco whilst renting this villa. House managers were very helpful and friendly. They were always available to help and advise us, yet remained unintrusive unless called upon. Car hire and airport 'meet and greet' are available from an associated rental company. While we availed of this facility and found the 'meet and greet' very beneficial we would not do so again. Regretably we had additional charges made to our credit cards upon return, and despite several phone calls and emails we have YET to establish the validity of these charges. This was the only sour note on the entire trip and while a poor reflection of the car hire firm, does not detract from the positivity of the villa itself . If you decide avail of this car hire option, I suggest you pay cash. We were universally pleased with the holiday experience we had, and the comfort and cleanliness of this wonderful villa played a huge part in that. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to friends, and would gladly return in years to come. The villa, the gardens, the pool, and the people were all beyond reproach. They only thing we'd do differently next time is the car hire.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

This year we'll be spending our 4th holiday at the Hacienda de Amor. We are a family of 12- ages range from 6-76 and we all absolutely love the villa. It is very comfortably furnished, with a well equipped kitchen and large bedrooms and bathrooms. Even though we are a party of 12- it never feels crowded, the lay out ensures privacy if you want it. The villa is maintained and cleaned to an extremely high standard and has all you could ask for and more! The location is fabulous; peaceful, with beautiful gardens and a lovely pool( which can be heated) The House Managers, Tom & Jacky are there to meet us on arrival. They are so helpful, but without being intrusive. Once we arrive at the villa, we find it hard to tear ourselves away- but Mijas is close by with some good restaurants and supermarkets a 10 minute drive away. This is a fantastic villa-Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.
