We are located right between Fort Myers and Naples, both short drives away. The Southwest Florida International Airport is a 15-minute drive and there are GREAT restaurants and stores all around.
This 1900 plus square foot, new, coach home has brand new, luxurious furnishings for the utmost in comfort! Your vacation home is located within the exclusive Pelican Sound Golf and River Club in Estero, Florida (right between Fort Myers and Naples). This rarely available unit is on the first floor. It has a one-car garage and a private entry into the home.
Island Sound is a very desirable location in Pelican Sound due to its beautiful views. The view from your lanai is one of many lake views. Windows abound in this unit with palm trees swaying as they frame the tropical beauty from every view. One of the many community pools is just steps away with a hot tub, gas grills and summer kitchen.
The entire home is furnished with new Southwest Florida theme. The master bedroom features tropical Tommy Bahama-style furnishings to bring the tropics inside. The bedroom, with four-poster king-size bed, an armoire and large 27 inch TV connects to a luxurious tile master bath. Two closets (one walk-in) keeps everything organized. The second bedroom, in its own private wing, has twin pillow-top beds and sparkles with its red, white and blue theme. The adjacent hall bath continues the colorful theme. Each bedroom is fully furnished with stylish pieces and extra thick plush pillow-top bedding - one king and two twins.
The large, fully-equipped kitchen has Corian countertops and plentiful upgraded cabinets, where you will find service for twelve, two full sets of stainless cookware, and a myriad of convenient appliances. The den provides a relaxing room with brightly colored pineapples adoring a sleeper sofa (very comfortable), a reading corner and large windows looking out over the neighborhood.
The living area has a sofa and loveseat of rich southwest Florida decor. Oak and bamboo style entertainment unit with matching coffee and end table. Thirty-two (32) inch TV with Panasonic Surround Sound Receiver, Panasonic Five-Disc CD changer, and DVD. The adjacent dining area offers lake window view with direct access to the screened lanai, ornate metal and glass round dining table seats four with two breakfast bar stools.
Golf - The club has 27 holes designed by Chip Powell and Mike Hill. The course has hosted senior PGA qualifying tournaments and has four sets of tees to allow for challenging yet fair play for all skill levels (bring extra balls). Championship tees play to a course rating of 73 with a slope of 142. Upon rental, a $300.00 fee transfers all membership privileges and allows you to enjoy a round of golf for the low cost of a cart fee. The new "Chelsea" automated system for reserving tee times insures fair play for everyone. In addition, there are dozens of reciprocal golf clubs in the area to enjoy.
Tennis - The Tennis Club has SIX HAR-TRU lighted courts, with tennis pro onsite for lessons, challenges, etc.
River Club - The 5000 square foot River Club has a huge pool, fitness center, and casual dining inside and out. FEATURES: Use the canoes for an adventurous trip on the Estero River through Estero Bay and San Carlos Pass to the beach landing area on Lover’s Key State Park. Shuttles operate all day back and forth from Pelican Sound to the Gulf (four beach chairs and two umbrellas are in our unit for you to enjoy some of the world’s finest beaches).
Fitness Center - Large state of the art fitness center overlooking one of may resort pools.
Shopping - three miles away: Miromar Outlet Center. To name few stores: Off Saks Fifth Avenue, DKNY, Nike Factory Store, Coach, Cole Haan, and Oshkosh. Village of Venetian Bay, Tin City, The Promenade, Prime Outlets of Naples, Flea Masters (900 stores), Waterside Shops at Pelican Bay, and the Old Naples Shopping District.
TECO Arena - Home to sports events and concerts is just a few exits north on I-75. Fort Myers is home to a Minor-League baseball team - one of the most popular activities around. It is also the spring training sites for many other teams.
Sight Seeing and Attractions - Naples Trolley Tours, Philharmonic Center of Arts, Corkscrew Sanctuary, Conservancy Nature Center, Caribbean Garden's, Seminole Gaming Place, Greyhound Dog Track, Everglades Wonder Garden's, Naples Princes', Everglades Day Safari, and Horse Ride Trail Rides.
