Welcome to our Keowee Key vacation condo in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains located on Lake Keowee in Keowee Key - a gated private subdivision. An 18,000 acre lake with fabulous views of the mountains offer you the best water-skiing, boating, and rolling wooded scenery you will ever see.
We are located 120 miles from Charlotte, 100 miles from Atlanta, near Greenville SC, and just south of Cashiers and Highlands NC. Private, prestigious and established Keowee Key community abounds with beautiful custom homes and a few condos mostly owner occupied.
We have the most unobstructed lake views of any of the condo's in Keowee Key. Our condo is unit 215 in the Tall Ship Clipper Building. If you contact our rental agent directly, please ask for Tall Ship 215.
Our condo contains a king-sized bed in the master bedroom. It has an elegantly furnished Great Room with bay window and walkout to the porch. Comfortably furnished with Digital satellite TV, DVR, DVD, tape player radio, board games, and many books. Off the entry hall is the hallway to the second full bath, the second bedroom with twin beds, and the laundry. A fully equipped kitchen makes it a joy to prepare meals when you don’t want to dine at the Keowee Key Country Club.
There are no steps to enter the condo from your parking space, and the walking trail outside the building is paved along the water for breathtaking scenery for joggers or walkers alike. A gorgeous private beach along the trail has a picnic pavilion and rest room.
For tennis lovers there are two areas available - one at the fitness center with private indoor pool, and racquetball, and one at the main marina with beach, outdoor pool and boat rental.
Do not miss the George Cobb-designed 18-hole golf course.
There is a DSL modem & router in our unit giving a high speed Wi FI internet connection. Keowee Key Association has WiFi in the Country Club and Activities Building. So bring your laptop. We also furnish free local and long distance phone service within the USA.
The lake is warm from late April through late October for swimming, and you can usually see far down into the clear water. Small islands dot the lake for exploring, and the trip to the waterfall is glorious. You may rent boats here or nearby by the day or bring your own.
Our condo is unit 215 in the Tall Ship Clipper Building. We have the best lake view of all of the rental condos in Keowee Key.

Why the Owner Chose Salem
The picture shows us walking on the Leisure Trail which is right below our porch. This is just one of the reasons we chose our condo in Keowee Key. However, the main reason is Lake Keowee itself. We live near Charlotte NC so our condo allows us to get away from the city and enjoy this beautiful lake in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. However, because of our busy schedule at home we are not able to use the condo all of the time, so we offer it for rent when we can't be here.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
We love Keowee Key because of all of the amenities and Lake Keowee. We love boating, water skiing, golf, swimming, tennis, and visiting the near by mountain water falls and quaint mountain towns. This area of South Carolina's up country offers something for everyone. Clemson is just 12 miles to the south offering the best in collage sports year around.

We came to visit my son's future in-laws. We were told the area was nice but this was an understatement. Staying at your condo really added to our enjoyment of the visit here. The views are beautiful and the trails great. I imagin we will be returning here in the future and hope we can stay here again.

11/17 to 11/18 2006 Loved the lake side view. Power went out 5 hrs while we were here - couldn't find the flashlight (had one of ouw own) might want an emergency kit in the lity closet w/ flashlight, candles w/ holder and matches. Power restored at 8:15 so all ended well. Thankfully High Falls Restaurant had power! yum! Loved the condo - loved the good book selections! Hope to meet you sonetime. We own in Yawl & our condo was rented. Thanks for sharing your lovely unit and view, so many helpful details. OWNERS COMMENT - FLASHLIGHT, CANDLES AND MATCHES ARE NOW IN UTILITY ROOM

Dec 28, 2006 through April 11, 2007 we've once again throughly enjoyed ou 3 1/2 months stay here in your condo. This year Maxine made regular use of the exercise classes at the Kourthouse and lost 10 lbs - yippie! We also enjoyed a Sunday Brunch and gave them your name and unit number. Thanks for all of your efforst in getting Internet Cable for us!! We also enjoyed the trails and shuffleboard courts. We are pleased to be able to return next winter in your unit for the winter - it will be our 4th time here.

Ded 26, 2006 Great Apt and view. We cooked at lot and enjoyed all the pots and pans. I could have used a small pan for eggs. This is a favorite Apt. OWNERS COMMENT - A SMALL PAN HAS BEEN ADDED.
