Located above vineyards in Sonoma County's world-renowned wine grape growing Dry Creek Valley, this is a 948 sq ft studio apartment over our 3-car garage. Perfect for a romantic weekend in Sonoma County Wine Country, there are many wineries within 10-minute driving time. World class restaurants are located in Geyserville and Healdsburg.
This studio was completed in January 2005 with forced air heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort, plus ceiling fans over the King-size bed and the leather entertainment seating in the Great Room. An electric fireplace provides ambience and/or warmth.
Surround sound enhances your experience of the 54" satellite HDTV and/or one of the many dvd's available. A 200 sq ft balcony/tile deck is accessible via sliding glass doors from both the bedroom and great room. All windows are dual pane. There is privacy from the home behind this unit. Wireless high-speed internet access is available.
The bathroom features tile surrounding a 6' soaking tub (with showerhead over it). There is a private entrance and space to park on the side. Property is located 8 miles north of Healdsburg and 3 miles south of Lake Sonoma, where you can enjoy boating and fishing; driving time is approximately 1 hr, 30 min North of San Francisco or Oakland.

The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
We love the quiet of the Dry Creek Valley. It is an area of working vineyards, so there can be tractors early in the morning, but with dual pane windows and thick insulation, we usually don't hear them. The serene beauty of the valley is totally relaxing, and the sunsets are gorgeous.
Raymond Burr Winery - former home of the late movie and tv star. Well known for his orchids, the winery offers tours of the orchid hothouses. Less than a mile from the apartment!

Jance and John, We completely enjoyed the quiet, lush beauty of the area, sunrise over the vineyard just off the deck, the attention to small details in the spacious and spotless apartment and last but not least, your hospitality. This was the perfect home base for our 30th anniversary and photos don't do your property justice, we will return. Beautiful accomodations. Super clean and comfortable.. Loved the nice touches of fresh flowers on the table, chilled bottle of wine in the refrigerator, the fresh baked plate of cookies.. Location is absolutely the best for a couple who loves wine-tasting as you are surrounded by some of the best vineyards in the world.. Highly recommend! We'll be back and we've already told quite a few of our friends.

From the cozy bed, the great entertainment center to the fabulous balcony... it was an excellent place to stay. Close enough to town and civilization for easy access but far enough away to enjoy quiet, peace and immerse yourself in the vineyards. Restful and recharging both! The place is huge and immaculate! Our hosts were super! Good communication before with great directions and restaurant/winery suggestions. Fresh flowers and wine upon arrival. Couldn't have felt more comfortable and at home. The views are spectacular! Great value and good for the soul. Great bathroom, great bed, easy internet access, good kitchen supplies, privacy, view, view, view!! Thank you for a great week!!

Truly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed around the world. For us, it was even a better home away from home. The view and the peacefulness on the deck was unbelievably relaxing, as was the bathtub, the endless couch, and even the bed (and we have a tempurpedic one at home)! The hostess responded quickly to all e-mails and phone calls, and the cold bottle of wine in the fridge was so appreciated. Cannot wait to get another few days to escape from the rat rate and relax in the valley.

Fresh flowers greeted us for our 4 day stay at this perfect wine country location. The accommodations were wonderful and our hosts delightful. There was even high speed wireless internet access so we could keep connected while away. It is hard to say what we enjoyed the most, but sitting on the deck and taking in the silence and the view has to rank right up there! We would definitely recommend this vineyard studio!!

We stayed here for one night in November 2007 and truly wished we could have stayed longer. Studio was spacious and immaculate, with wonderful amenities and a killer view of the vineyards. Several great vineyards nearby. We will be back soon, hopefully for a longer stay.

As frequent visitors to the Dry Creek area we can say that this is the best place we have stayed. Great location, beautiful vineyard views, private and quiet - with great amenities. The owners were very gracious and accomodating. We will be back!
