Our cottage has been completely renovated - inside and out. It's pure Florida with a great view of Avery Bayou from the large front porch. "Osprey Cottage is the perfect hideaway, located on a quiet residential street in Crystal Beach. Crystal Beach was developed in 1912, making it one of Florida's oldest vacation villages. Before that, it was a community of fishermen, and some of the original "cracker houses" remain, beautifully restored and lending historic charm. Most of the streets are paved with white shell, and the village is bounded by water on three sides; the Gulf of Mexico, Sutherland Bayou, and Avery Bayou.
Our complete renovation includes ceramic tile floors throughout, new kitchen, and ceiling fans in each room. It is only three short blocks from the gulf and we have our own town park, beach, and fishing pier... all within easy walking distance. Our cottage is located just a few steps from the Pinellas Trail, featuring 34 miles of walking, biking, and roller blading. Located midway between Tarpon Springs and Clearwater, Osprey Cottage is a perfect base for your vacation pleasures.
