Townhouse is lovely and comfortable. Just steps from the beach where we were able to walk for miles every morning. It was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The only negative was the wi-fi did not work anywhere near the condo. Our mobile devices struggled to get both data and voice signals. Luckily I had a sprint modem so my husband could complete his work. We had a fantastic meal at amici's, mango mango, and watched the rose bowl at red frog and mctoads. Experience old st Augustine. It is fantastic!

Owner response: Our guests comfort is our #1 concern, and we can appreciate the need to stay connected during vacations. High-speed Wifi was installed in January and is available for all future guests!

After having some car troubles on the way down, we were more than ready to arrive at the condo. The description fit to a "t", we had such a great time during our stay. Very short walk to the beach every morning and it was not crowded at all, even saw dolphins one morning. Our stay went by too quickly, would definitely recommend this condo to others and hope to return again!

Our Family & I had a wonderful stay at our Beautiful Seawinds Condo. We loved the Big Comfy Couch w/Recliners and wished we could find one just like it for our home in Live Oak. Didn't do much cooking due to wanting to experience all our favorite resturants like Salt Water Cowboys, The Oasis, The Conch House etc. But our daughter and her guest that came along with us enjoyed the pool the most they spent alot of time there each day. We loved the atmosphere all around inside our condo and outside. Everything there in St. Augustine is Beautiful from the landscaping to the beautiful sounds of the beach . We had alot of fun and we definately will be booking another wk next yr at Seawinds!!!!!!! EVERYTHING was wonderful and clean & decorated beautiful just like the photos .Thanks for making our vacation arrival so easy to check in and out with Terry she is an outstanding employee . Our unit was clean, comfortable and roomy. Being just the 2 of us we were able to spread out all we wanted. The electric fireplace was a nice touch since we had a few cool nights during our stay. The complex manager, Terry, was very helpful and took care of our arriving after 11 PM with keys and map placed in the black mailbox at the Clubhouse/Office.

Former St. Augustine residents. Needed a place for the family for Flagler College graduation. The perfect fit. For the price of a mid-range motel, we were able to enjoy separate bdrms & 3 baths, full kitchen, & laundry. Three people/ four days with daughter and her friends coming and going around the graduation activities. With the cleaning and agent fees spread over a longer stay, would have been an even better value. The "starter kit" from the rental committee with detergents, etc. is very useful for a short stay but I reccommend bringing some other basics like coffee filters & sugar, or some way to leave the extras for the next group. Overall; clean, convenient, and 100% as represented.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Owner response: Keep in mind that there is a Publix supermarket one block south of our complex. All the basics are best picked up there for use during your stay. We do try to keep extra in the kitchen cabinets, so upon departure if you have extra basics you can leave them in the cabinets to the right of the microwave.

Thank you Erik & family for letting us stay in your wonderful condo! We have stayed at other units in Sea Winds over the past 12 years and we will definitely request yours again. Your pictures and description are exact and the recent rennovations to the property have made the surrounding areas even more beautiful. Since this was the first time my husband & I came to St. Augustine without our kids (now both in college) we were able to experience the city in a new way...as grown-ups! The weather this time of year was perfect for spending time on the beach without the oppressing heat of the summer, plus attractions & restaurants weren't overly crowded. We'll be keeping an eye on your availability calendar so we can plan another beach getaway!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your condo. We especially liked the ground floor patio as well as the two balconies off the bedrooms upstairs. The size of the complex was not overwhelming, quite manageable, close to the beach and pool, very nice management personnel, and friendly neighbors. We love walking the beach every morning, and a very beautiful beach it is! We were spoiled, with good friends living right in the next complex. We would certainly stay again when we return to St. Augustine.

We've entered this comment on behalf of Jill and her family. They emailed it directly to us. Erik & Family, Thank you for sharing your condo with us. We had a wonderful time. The condo was just as it appeared on VRBO, neat and clean. We enjoyed the short walk to the beautiful beach. The covered parking was also nice. We had the chance to experience St. Augustine through the Ripley's Trolley Tour. We visited The Fountain of Youth, the old fort and several other amazing places. My kids loved it! Our favorite restaurant was Salt Water Cowboys which was only a few minutes down the road. The location of your condo allowed easy access to restaurants and shopping. We will definitely return to St. Augustine! Thanks again, Jill & Family

We've entered this guest book comment on behalf of Linda and her family. My family stayed at Sea Winds, unit #8 in June. The condo was very convenient to everything, the grocery, shopping, and the tourist attractions. The condo had a large living room with plenty of space to sit and I loved the rocking chair. While looking out the living room onto the patio, the view was very relaxing, especially when the fountains were on. The pool area was nice and there were never a lot of people there. The beach was great and it wasn’t crowded either. The people who worked there were so helpful. We had an unexpected late arrival and didn’t realize that we needed to call ahead. Once they were contacted, it took less than 15 minutes and someone was there to bring us the key. The deck off the small bedroom is perfect if you want to sunbath or nice to sit out late in the evening just to relax. When visiting St. Augustine in the future I would stay again. Linda Burt

My family and I recently stayed at Sea Winds in unit 8 and were more than pleased with the accommodations. It was just perfect for my family of four. Our children are 9 and 5 and we find it very difficult to stay for a length of time in a small hotel room. The condo was a “home away from home.” It had everything we needed in addition to the beach just being a short walk away! We would love to come back and would highly recommend Sea Winds - UNIT 8 - to our family and friends.

I grew up in and around St.Augustine. When I brought my kids there last May for their Great Grandmother's 80th birthday party we had a wonderful time in this condo. I loved sitting by the lagoon and having my breakfast. The entire condo was one of the most comfortable we've ever stayed in. We'll certainly see if it's available for our next trip to St.Aug.!

We enjoyed every minute of our vacation in this condo. It was very clean and neat and had everything we could have wanted or needed. It was only minutes from the beach and seconds from the pool. The couch & recliner were so comfy. The owner of this condo as well as the property manager were extremely helpful and wonderful to work with. I can not wait to come back. (And the 3 little ducks in the pond right off of the patio were a delight to watch every day).

Dianna emailed us this comment and asked that I post it so the "spammers" wouldn't get her email! Here's her message:We stayed at the Sea Winds in Unit 8 the third week of July and really enjoyed the privacy and tranquility of this complex. Sea Winds is the place you want to go if you want to be close to everything but still be away from the hustle and bustle of a tourist town. It only takes a few minutes to drive to downtown Saint Augustine for sight seeing if that is what you want to do. The Publix is close by and very convenient for grocery shopping or if you prefer to dine out there are many choices within a couple of minutes from the condo. There is even a nice Dollar Tree close by for those last minute things you might have forgotten to bring. We had three women and three children in our party and had plenty of space in this nice clean townhouse. Two of us adults slept on a queen size air mattress in the second bedroom with two children on the trundle bed. It was a little tight in there but you can make it work. There is plenty of closet space in both bedrooms. The half bath on the first floor is very convenient and was used more than you would think. Erik is right about the living room furniture it is very comfortable and as a matter of fact I slept on the couch one night and it was just fine. The recliners are awesome and the cable television is nice. The kitchen is a good size and has everything you need however; there is no ice maker so we had to use ice trays which were provided but no problem. There are even wine glasses in which we enjoyed our San Sebastian wine in the evenings out by the lagoon. We had pizza delivered one night from Antonio’s Pizza restaurant which is just down the street and everybody loved it. The children loved playing in the grass outside the patio of the condo, we saw ducks, turtles, fish, cranes and a snake. If you have small children please be aware of this possibility. The gas grill is nice and was used one night to grill steaks. The Sea Winds complex is very family orientated so if you are looking for a party place then it is not for you. The pool is large and was the cleanest and clearest public pool I have ever seen. You do not have to worry about letting your children swim in the water. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves which is rare in July in Florida . The beach is a very short walk and not over crowded. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed to stay here and we will return. Erik is very n

I grew up spending the Summers over at St. Augustine & Crescent Beach. This condo was very comfortable and spacious. More than enough room for the 2 of us. It would be an awesome unit for a family or 2 couples to stay in. It was very clean, everything worked. It was just a short walk down to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes, but be prepared to by liquid dish soap if you hand wash dishes like I do. We had a great time and would definitely go back.

The best condo(and couch)on the beach! We took a trip over for the weekend and it was so relaxing. Everything is so close- Publix, Putt-Putt golf and some of my favorite St. Augustine restaurants including Salt Water Cowboys. I enjoy their atmosphere so much! I have been staying a Sea Winds since middle school and it was so nice to come back to my old summer hang-out for the weekend. I will definitely recommend this condo to all my friends and family!

One of the best, if not the best vacation residences that I and my wife have ever stayed in! It is clean comfortable and tastefully decorated and is a great place for the kids and adults alike. Close to the beach, shopping and nearby St Augustine proper. This unit is reasonably priced and affords great value for the money; truly a great place to vacation! We will be coming back as often as we can.

Once again my family and I enjoyed a long weekend at our unit. This time we had my mom and dad, our two little girls (3 years and 3 months old) and my brothers two girls (9 & 5 years) - that's four adults and four kids. We still managed for eveyone to be very comfortable - sleeping on our couch and recliner is easy! We again enjoyed some of our favorite resturants - Wildflower Cafe for breakfast, PizzaAlley - WOW do they have some great Parm dishes - chicken and veal were EXCELLENT this time - try it if you can. Going to PizzaAlley (TRIP FAVORITE Dinner)is nice because it's in downtown so you get to get into historic St. Augustine. We also have a quick breakfast down the road at Sea Oats Cafe - it's located in the Publix shopping Plaze just a block down the road - the breakfast sandwich on the crossaint was really good. I don't recommend it for large parties as it was a bit cramped (they can't fit more than 5 at a table), but the food was good. We also ate dinner at Conch House and the food was excellent - I had the Mahi and it was great. All of us enjoyed our meals. We are at Creekside Dinner and it was good, but it was raining that day so we didn't get the chance to enjoy the outdoor patio or band. We hope you enjoy your stay - until next time. We have visited Saint Augustine several times over the past 13 years. We found out about Sea Winds several years ago and always look forward to our stay. We just spent the week of July 4th at Sea Winds Condo #8. This is our first time staying in this particular unit and it was very much what we expected out of Sea Winds. A wonderfully clean and pleasant stay. We always look forward to our week at the beach and we always enjoy this wonderful vacation spot. Unit #8 is perfect. A few things that keep us coming back to Sea Winds are: you are on the beach, security in having a garage to park and store your bikes and personal beach items (not to mention park your car), the pool design is great for both kids and adults to enjoy and relax. I know the owner has posted a couple of locations to go and eat. We discovered a new place this trip. Creekside Dinery, 904-829-6113, located off US 1 and the 312 bridge. Excellent atmosphere, 3 piece band playing some light rock and blues under the magnola trees on the deck. Good food at a good price. We hope Eric has an open date for us to return to #8 when my wife and I find time to head back to our favorite destination, Sea Winds.

I know this comment is a little late, but my family stayed here July 2006 and we had a blast. The house was beautiful and very quite even though cnstruction was taking place, it never bothered us. Even on July 4th the beach nor the pool was not crowed and we felt like it was a dream come true. The beds were comfortable and my mother and mother-in-law fought over who was to sleep on the sofe. IT WS SO COMFORTABLE!!! We go to the beach every yera for July and this is the BEST vacation stay that we have had. I look forward to staying here in the future and would recomend it to anyone!THANK AGAIN!

To all our potential guests, Today is New Years Day 2007, and my family and I just arrived back home from a "too short", three day weekend at our unit - this unit you are considering staying in - Sea Winds Unit #8. I just feel compelled to enter my own comments to make all our potential guests feel good about staying with us. What a wonderful place to go anytime! I just feel so rejuvinated from our time at the beach. If you do stay with us, I highly recommend a few things: Make sure to open up the sliding doors (screens closed of course to keep out that one bug who wants to bother you - there are very few bugs to begin with) and the windows on both sides of the unit. The airflow and breeze is just amazing! Much better than the A/C most of the time. Having a glass of wine on any of our three decks while enjoying that book your reading is great. We had some good food experiences to share as well. Barnicle Bills is just "ok". Really the food (we both had fish) was good, but the atmosphere left a bit to be desired. We had a good breakfast at the Wildflower Cafe and would recommend it - they have a good assortment of "sweet" breakfasts like walnut, banana french toast (my wife is still mumbling about it two days later - yum yum she says :) My basic eggs and sausage breakfast was good too. The South Beach Grill was good as well. I had the mahi and rice - good dish, and my wife had a chicken pasta dinner - very good too. We had a not so good breakfast at the Oasis "the famous one" as they say. You almost have to go once so make up your own mind here. Other meals at The Oasis have been better in the past. We are heading back to our unit for this next upcoming weekend again before our "LUCKY" three, month renters come in again. You really shoudn't stay anywhere else on the beach! I promise if you give our unit a try you will enjoy it - we just offer better value than almost any other unit on the beach! Till next time... The Henson Family; Erik, Lisa & Little Elle

We just returned from a week at this beautiful condo! Before I start,we have no affilliation with this rental, and only know the owner thrrough a couple of phone calls. The unit was layed out very well and suited our needs perfectly! The townhouse setup with the bedrooms upstairs was great for those who wanted to have some peace and quiet without shutting down all activities downstairs. Each bedroom has its own bathroom upstairs and the half bath on the way out of the lower level was perfect for those last minute "pitstops"before leaving. We also liked having use of the garage, where you could just pull in like at home, not fight for a good spot to unload like some other condos we've stayed at!The unit was very quiet and we never heard any sounds through the walls.Overall you can't go wrong with this unit!Feel free to e-mail me with any other questions you may have! This condo is the ULTIMATE! We stayed for a long weekend for a wedding in historic St. Augustine and had a great time! It's a close walk to the beach, VERY close to the pool and tennis courts, and just a short drive to downtown St. Augustine. The furniture in the living room is the most comfortable EVER! The condo helped make our vacation stress-free traveling with our newborn.

What a great place for the holiday weekend. The pool is gorgeous; I never wanted to leave the hot tub; and the beach is just beautiful. You wouldn't believe it was a holiday with the privacy we had all weekend - nearly alone on the beach and at the pool. The patio was a great place to grill and eat every day. And YES, the new recliner/sofa is so comfortable you could stay there forever. Thank you for the great accomodations!
