Very Nice Owners, Lovely Condo!

Our stay at this condo was such a delight! First - it was very clean and well-stocked with everything you could need, and the location could not have been better! A walk or a short bike ride away from Coligny Plaza, and the same goes for the beach. The two pools were wonderful for our kids (11, 6 and 2). The kids could not get enough of feeding the turtles and HUGE fish in the pond that is right outside the back door! Tons of amazing birds (herons, cranes) were all around, and the neighbors were so nice. The TVs in the bedrooms were great for the kids for relaxing after outings, and they even had a selection of videos (our daughter is now in love with Mary Poppins, so awesome!!!) We thought it was so generous of the owners to provide so much beach and baby gear, as well! There were batteries missing from some remotes from a not-so-nice previous client, and we called to let Kim (the owner) know, just as an FYI. She sent her husband out right away to replace them, and he was such a nice guy! We will definitely be back, and thank the owners for their hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay. Great location 5 min walk to the beach everything was close by,The tiki bar Is a must good times,enjoyed the deck on the back over looking a small lagoon ( had fun watching the gator) the condo was spacious and cozy 1st year we rented a 3 bedroom and won't ever go back to a 2 bedroom kids loved having there own rooms!! We will be back!! The owner Kim a joy to work with very accommodating will recommend to our friends!!

Had an awesome time with the family at this location. We have a 3 year year old that loves the beach. The easy walk to the ocean made getting to the sand very convenient. Place had lots of space but a cozy feel. Love the deck over looking the lagoon. Can't wait to go back. Thanks.

My family and I stayed here over spring break (2011). We really loved the location. The beach is right across the road. The wife and I took our dog for a morning walk on the beach every day. The kids where always on the go from the beach, to the pools (they would switch pools every hour or so), to Coligny Plaza. We will be staying here again.

My family loved this Condo, It was much bigger than we usually end up with at the beach! It was in the perfect location.South Forest Beach is the best part of the Island. We walked or rode our bikes to the beach, to Coligny Plaza (you must eat at the pastry shop) and Steamers Seafood was great even if you are just off the beach! The shops were good and the Tiki Bar by the Holiday Inn is a must! Live music sitting at a beach bar is the perfect day! The back deck that overlooks the Laggon was perfect for grilling and feeding the Turtles! Great that this condo has a Doggy Gate on the deck, Buster could go in and out as he pleases with no worries. One pool is about 30 steps from condo which is perfect for kids, but they also have a BIG pool down the way. This community is very clean, landscaped and quiet which made it perfect for my family! We will stay here again

The perfect home away from home

This is our 4th year in this particular condo and we love everything about it. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach; it has a deck overlooking a lagoon with two fountains and a variety of turtles and birds to watch. The deck is the highlight for us as it faces south so the sun hits the deck all afternoon. Since we visit here in the winter months, that is a huge positive because even if it is cool, we are able to sit on the deck and read or have an early glass of wine at dinner time. The availability of a gas bar b q is also a major plus for us. The first year we came to HH, we stayed in a two bedroom condo so truly appreciate the extra space afforded by the 3 bedroom one especially in the main living area. There is a separate bathroom for each bedroom which is a definite plus for guests. Each bedroom also has plenty of sleeping accommodation and its own tv, again a plus when hosting company. The beds are all very comfortable with a king size in the master bedroom, two singles in the 2nd bedroom upstairs and a queen in the downstairs bedroom. Great for any combination of guests. Although not new, the condo is clean and well maintained and the combination of laminate and tile floors on the main floor make it easy to care for even with wet or sandy pet feet. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to make meals and entertain. The main living area has a very useful wrap around bar kitchen counter which is handy for your laptop use or just for keeping the cook company. It and the mirrored walls give the area a true feeling of spaciousness. There is a new flat screen tv, which while not plasma, is compatible with current gaming technologies so a real positive. The complex is kept immaculately; security is tight; it is very pet friendly; and it is located at the heart of Hilton Head Island. A bike ride up the beach takes you to Harbour Front or the Salty Dog; a ride in the other direction takes you to Coligny Circle with restaurants and shopping. Hilton Head is the place for us. We love the biking and the proximity to the ocean. And this condo is also the one we would choose over any other.

Love Hilton Head, the townhouse, not so much!

We loved Hilton Head Island but this town house could use some work. Kim who rents this property is fine to work with but small issuses while we were there could have been prevented. It was not clean at all, bar of soap left in the shower, the fridge had other peoples left overs, there were dust balls through out. Nothing had been dusted. We spent our first hour re-cleaning our bathrooms and kitchen, a new cleaning crew would be recommended. There was a tainted bucket of water from a long ago leak under the kitchen sink which smelled terrible, had to wait for a plumber the next day. Two days later our air went out, had to waited till 12:30 am for the HVAC guy to come repair it, which meant the family upstairs had to be moved downstairs b/c it was so hot. Simple maintence could make this townhouse very nice, but that was not the case this week. Luckily we were traveling with the right people that made our trip fun!

Owner response:Kristie, I know you would agree that the condo issues were addressed immediately when you reported the issues. I did contact the cleaning company and was made aware that the inspection had not been done when you arrived early and they were told to skip it so you could get in sooner. I have never had any issues with the cleaning company, but I assure you they were made aware. The condo had been rented every week since January and I had not been notified of any other issues until you called me. Thanks! I was able to get everything repaired and the condo completely re-decorated and ready for the season of 2011.

We just returned from a lovely stay in this spacious condo. Our 3 kids loved the "beach home" and did not mind the short walk or bike ride to the beach. The convenience of Coligny Plaza nearby was worth the price. We would definitely stay again in the future.

We stayed in this lovely condo June 06. In the past, I have been somewhat hesitant about reserving property sight unseen, but this property seemed okay online. However, when my family arrived in Hilton Head we were very pleasantly surprised. The condo was tastefully decorated, very well maintained, quite spacious, and overall wonderful!!! The deck in the back was a fantastic place to sit and read in the morning. The lagoon is full of life and my children loved watching the turtles. Prospective renters: Do not hesitate! This is a wonderful property.
