My husband and I, our 14 yr old son and 12 yr old daugher rented this cabin for our May vacation, LOVED IT - The cabin is awsome, GREAT views, excellent location - only minutes away from Gatlinburg and easy access to Pigeon Forge. We loved the game room & hot tub made downtime in the cabin very enjoyable. Ziplined with Climbworks, a definate MUST DO and only 15 min from the cabin. If your looking for a relaxing place with awsome views this cabin has it.

My family stayed in the Black Bear Falls Cabin for our spring break. It was me, my husband, our 2 kids ages 7 & 4, my brother and his son age 12, my mom & her fiance, and my in-laws! We had a blast! We all enjoyed the hot tub... especially the kids! We played tons of pool and the Xbox 360! We had ample space and cooked a lot in the cabin instead of eating out. There was enough sleeping space with using the 3 beds and the 2 sofa sleepers. It was just amazing! Gatlinburg has become our home away from home so to speak...we have spent the past 3 spring breaks there looking for a bit of snow! We are all from Florida! We always go to Ober to ice skate and ride the alpine slide... this year some of us snow tubed too... we hike up the Newfound Gap trails and play in the snow we find there. There is always eating at Applewood in Pigeon Forge... the best restaurant! We played mini golf quite a bit... and have won several free games. Our trip concluded with an intimate wedding in the Chapel in the Park for my mom and her fiance. Gatlinburg is just a lovely and relaxing place. We spend hours on the swing or rocking chairs just admiring the views. The Black Bear Falls Cabin was a fantastic escape... we look forward to a future visit. Oh, we always bring our dog on vacation and he was so much more relaxed in the Gatlinburg setting. The cabin was great for him too!
Owner response:Thank you for your detailed review! There are many fun activities & events that make Gatlinburg the perfect family vacation at any time of the year. Congratulations to your Mom & new husband on their wedding. What a special vacation for you and the family! Our cabin's motto is "Creating vacation memories that last a lifetime." This will be one that you will remember for many years. We look forward to your return! Laura & Smoky the Bear

Our vacation to Black bears Falls was wonderful! The cabin has the most beautiful views of the Smokey's. Looking out the large window's and balcony's you could see the leaves still changing on the mountain and in the community. We can not say enough about the cabin itself! The beds were extremely comfortable, the game room a blast, and the hot tub was a great ending to your day! Black Bear Falls has a primer location, not too far from any of the attractions. It helped to create a perfect vacation for us and our family!
Owner response:Thank you for your very generous feedback on the cabin! We appreciate your staying at Black Bear Falls Cabin, and we look forward to having you return soon! "Smoky the Bear"

Our stay at Black Bear Falls was absolutely wonderful! We had some car trouble early in our vacation and if we had all been crammed into a hotel it would have been a nightmare. Instead it was an opportunity to stay at "home" and enjoy all the ammenities this fine cabin has to offer. We loved walking in the lovely community the steep hills and gorgeous views are both excercise and reward. The kids loved the pool and our little girl adored the giant bullfrogs and carp swimming in the multiple ponds. The cabin was clean, cool and beautifully decorated. They kids loved the pool table and there were enough tv's that we could all watch whatever we wanted. Everybody enjoyed the video arcade, but I sheepishly admit that I couldn't get enough of Ms. Pacman. Now we are completely spoiled and will never stay in a hotel again. Laura is the most attentive host. Not only did she call us to make sure we arrived safely and had everything we needed, but she also made valuable recommendations for shopping, car repair and fun things to do. If you have been looking at cabins in the Smoky's, you know that after a while they all start to look alike and you need to base your decision on some fairly small details. Trust me when I say that with Black Bear Falls your search is over, you will love your stay and this will be your home in Smoky's every time you come back.

We had a wonderful trip to your cabin, Laura, combining work and pleasure. The description of the cabin does not do it justice! It is beautifully appointed, and having 3 separate master bedroom suites gave everyone the privacy they needed after a fun filled day/evening. It's so conveniently located to either Pigeon Forge or the Park, and we ventured into both, enjoying the great shopping at Five Oaks and a breathtaking drive through the Smokey Mountain National Park. We were lucky with the weather too! We loved the SPECTACULAR VIEWS from both decks, and starwatched at night. We will definately be back!
Owner response:Thank you for your review. We strive to make your stay at the cabin as enjoyable and comfortable as possible for our guests! We look forward to your return. Laura

My family and I rented this cabin over spring break. It was a great vacation. The cabin was roomy, clean and the game room was the icing on the cake. My husband and son competed all week on the multicade. Although we did go to Dollywood, Dixie Stampede, horsebackriding and several other activities in town, we loved just sitting in the hot tub looking at the view. For a family who generally goes to Orlando for spring break and needs a vacation after the vacation, it was probably the most relaxing sping break we have had in years.

My family very much enjoyed the lovely cabin. It was clean, well-maintained and exactly as promised. We especially enjoyed the game room where my son discovered pool and my daughter became very proficient at Frogger. We started each day with a trip downstairs for some friendly competition. Laura and Bob were just a phone call away and very helpful. When we had a problem with the fireplace, they had someone out to fix it as soon as they could. We would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and we would stay there again as well. Thanks so much.
Owner response:Thank you for your kind comments. It was a pleasure to have you and your family enjoy the cabin. We hope you return soon. "Smoky the Bear" will put in a request to "Mother Nature" for great weather on your next trip!

"Awesome Cabin for the whole family!" We had a great time at the cabin and in Gatlinburg. There is alot to do here in the winter and we are looking forward to coming back for the summer. The game room was a hit with our children, and the adults. The front porch view is simply breathe taking. We lucked up with all the snow. We stayed 7 days and it snowed 6 days. We are from Louisiana so it was great for the kids to experience all the snow and the fun that comes with it. It's was a vacation that they will never forget. There was alot of things to do here, we really enjoyed Wonder Works and the Ripely's Aquarium. So also went to Ober for some snow tubing and skiing. The only thing we didn't get to do is visit some of the caves and waterfalls. That's why we want to come back. Mrs. Laura & Mr. Bob thank you for sharing your home with us. The cabin is so beautiful and the view of the Smokey's are unbelievable. We look forward to visiting again. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

BLESSED TO HAVE BOOKED 4/4/09 thru 4/11/09! My family enjoyed your cabin tremendously. Beautifully decorated, Great Location and indeed, AWESOME VIEWS! The cabin and the views were even more breath taking on Tuesday morning (4/7)with SNOW. Yes, snow in April!! With the unpredictable weather during the week, the Arcade room was a hit with the teenagers and yes, ME TOO! Wish I had taken more time to enjoy the blast from the past: Ms. PacMan! We also took advantage of the Gatlinburg Community Center with the cold weather where the teens bowled and went swimming. When the weather broke, we went hiking, had a picnic lunch at New Found Gap, succeeded in our adventure to climb up Clingman's Dome and take in a beautuful sunset. While the kids go-carted or played dvd games back at the cabin, the ladies made it over the mountain to Harrah's Casino in Cherokee, NC! We cooked most of our meals in but made sure to dine at our favorite places, The Apple Barn in Pigeon Forge and The Best Italian Pizza in the Elks Plaza, Gatlinburg. Laura, THANK YOU for a wonderful stay! You were such a delight to speak with and made the process of booking our extended stay a pleasant one. I'm sorry I missed your courtesy call but I guess I was having too much fun! We look forward to visiting again very soon!!
Owner response:Thank you for your beautiful comments. We appreciate it. We love to share the beauty of the Smoky Mountain National Park with guests from around the country. We look to your return! Laura
