This Condo is perfect for a weekend or even an extended stay in Keystone, CO. It is the closet building to the gondola, and is located in the River Run area, so my friends and I didn't have to walk far after a long day of snowboarding. I didn't even have to endure the cold weather when we arrived since we parked in the heated parking garage.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the village. We were so close we could look out over the balcony and watch people walking to the slopes, getting a quick lunch, or shopping. There was a live band playing near by that we could hear from the Condo when we open the balcony doors. We loved our "village view" and felt like we were part for everything going on.

There was no need to leave the Condo for anything but skiing and snowboarding. This Condo has it all... from a full kitchen to high speed wireless internet, and a cozy gas fireplace. We would get up in the morning and go snowboarding and then come back for a quick lunch and warm ourselves by the fireplace, then head back out and snowboard until bedtime (Yes, night skiing and boarding is great up here!!) We didn't even have to haul our boards and boots back up to the Condo, we just simply put them in the storage lockers downstairs.

For comfort and convenience, this is the Condo you're looking for! I know my friends and I had a "Beary" good time!!

  From the moment we walked in the door we were thrilled with the accomodations. The finishes, decor, amenities, size, comfort, location, and anything else you could think of to describe 'perfect' was here. All of our visitors were impressed with the condo too. The girls dressed here and walked just a couple of yards to the gondola. The boys dressed in the Black Bear (another condo from same owner). The photographer bounced between the two making this a perfect set up. The owners, Kim and Jim, could not have been more accomodating or helpful. When we return to ski, this is our first choice for places to stay. (I have stayed in others in this area and this is the best.) My only regret is that I had no time to read any of the novels in the home (an impressive collection). Next time! Thank you Kim and Jim.

  Wow! Just when we thought your condo was perfect, you made it even better! The new curtains in both bedrooms really block out the festive lights from the village, and the new leather sleeper-sofa is both beautiful and extremely comfortable (as a sofa and as a bed). And maybe it was our imagination, but it seems like your selection of books has grown even larger, making it quite an impressive library to choose from. We absolutely love this condo, which probably explains why next week will be our 4th time to stay there in the past year and a half. It's like coming home, only without all of the hassles and worries of normal, everyday life. Thanks for all of the extras that you put into your condo, Kim and Jim!

  Thanks, Kim & Jim, for putting so many personal touches into your perfect condo! We loved everything from the beautiful kitchen with the instant hot water tap to the great selection of books on your beautiful, custom-built bookshelves. Between the ample closet space and hooks everywhere throughout the condo, we had plenty of places to hang everything -- we especially loved the hooks in the bathroom for our towels, PJs, and sweat shirts. Thank you for supplying so many kitchen gadgets, cookware, and accessories! We also loved the very comfortable beds, the great TVs, and having the DVR in the living room to record movies from the great selection of channels (HBO, sports, etc.). Perfect location, great common areas, awesome views -- we loved it! We can't wait to stay there again in March and hope to book another trip soon for next year! We also can't wait to stay in your Black Bear units next week!! Thanks for the personal touches in your beautiful condo -- they definitely made a great impact on us! And the two of you couldn't be any nicer to work with!

  Dear Jim and Kim, There is nothing short of "perfection" to describe your lovely and spacious Jackpine condo in Keystone! The interior decor is filled with such attention to detail, from crown moldings to granite countertops to custom built-ins! And the condo simply feels like our "home away from home" with luxury bedding (two king-size beds in both bedrooms!), flat-screen tv's, and spacious rooms ! Your location which is directly over the village and within walking distance to the lifts, restaurants and shops could not be more ideal! The entire "package" makes this our MOST FAVORITE place to enjoy a ski vacation We most certainly WILL be back! Thank you both for your warm hospitality!

  We traveled to Keystone in late February and had a wonderful time. Having spent time at many of Colorado's larger "tourist" resorts, we found Keystone to be the best of both worlds - long, beautiful ski terrain without the congestion and impersonal service that comes with the traditional tourist meccas. With Breckenridge only a quick 25-minute ride away, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the Keystone slopes (with better skiing/riding anyway) and still partcipate in the traditional ski town nightlife if you choose. This resort had something for everyone, and it was without a doubt our favorite Colorado destination yet. I cannot say enough good things about this exceptional condo. We stayed here for three nights with another couple and could not have been more pleased. The location - a quick three minute walk to the new gondola - is the best in all of Keystone, and the condo itself is decorated beautifully with true home comforts in mind. The special touches that Kim and Jim have put into this unit made us feel at home, and it gave us something to look forward to coming home to after a long day on the slopes. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the layout was more than enough space for two couples or a family. We were very excited to find a unit with two king beds (quite unusual for a two-bedroom), and there are additional rollaways that are perfect for children or smaller adults, if necessary. Although we had a rental car (with great underground parking!), the location of this unit would allow you to walk to everything you need - chairlifts, ski rental, shops, and restaurants. The building itself houses a great little pub, and there are several other dining options within easy walking distance. There is also a newly built hot tub and outdoor kitchen area on the building's grounds, and both seemed to be getting plenty of use. We fully intend to come back next year and hope this unit is available when we do. If not, we may need to re-think our dates! Thanks Kim and Jim for helping to make this a truly fabulous vacation.

  Hi Kim, We had a great vacation in Keystone - it was cold and we saw a little snow fall during the week. Saturday when we were leaving it was really snowing which made the trip to Denver challenging. Your Jackpine unit is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. The decorating, the upgrades and even the fact that the unit was a little bigger than most 2 bedrooms was wonderful. We travel to Keystone at least once a year and if you offer any incentives for early booking or returning guests, we would be very interested in that information. Best wishes for the New Year and hope to stay in your Jackpine unit again soon! Carol Connelly

  Hi, Kim and Jim. We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed staying in your condo in Jackpine during our Christmas vacation. Being able to return after skiing each day to a place that was comfortable and home-like was much more pleasant than returning to a bland, sterile environment and it helped make our entire trip just that much more special. It was obvious that you had given careful thought to the furnishings to make it comfortable for everyone. There was even something for everyone on the bookshelf; our daughter was very excited about the Disney story collection book and read almost all of it. Also, thank you for providing a Christmas tree and the decorations so we could decorate it ourselves, which gave us another opportunity to make a special Christmas memory. We are so glad that we found the VRBO web site and your condo and would gladly welcome another opportunity to stay there again. The Powells, Sugar Land, TX

  Jim & Kim, you have done a wonderful renovation of the Keystone condo. It was terrific when I was here in 2006, now it's spectacular!!! The Kitchen knocks you socks off! My wife, Debanne and our children are quite happy with my choice. Perfect location, closest to the Gondola and lifts, ON the Village square and steps to the Kickapoo Tavern ... As an owner of a Vacation rental on Grand Cayman, I do notice problems and needs. The only thing that needs attention are the wooden blinds on the deck door. The 3 slats at the door handle are broken.. (around the lever handle) this happens at my property also...We have 2 other couples with children staying in 2 other buildings and they are very jealous of this condo... neither of their condos are anywhere as nice... Snow conditions could be better, hasn't snowed in a over a week..Daytime temps in the high 40's with plenty of sunshine.. that's nice. Our Grandchildren, Addie 9 and Anders 7 are both in (god forbid) snowboard school. I guess we did not bring our daughter up well.... We are having a great time, thanks for the beautiful condo...Vince
