Villa Carolisol is a 4400 square foot open air carribean villa. You can see and hear the ocean 100 yards away from our large second floor open air patio cooled by the tradewinds.Three large air conditioned bedrooms on the first floor with 6 queen and 2 single beds; a third floor 4th bedroom with kingsize bed, bath,balcony and terrace with terrific views, the villa was totally refurbished in march/2009 for your vacation comfort. Great for vacations, weddings, spring break get togethers or a family reunion.
There is plenty of room for both group and individual activities with our two inner living room patios, halls, porches and terraces. We sleep up to 16 adults and kids comfortably in one king and six queen beds all with serta pillowtop matresses, 2 single bed as well as a crib and highchair are also available,Villa Carolisol takes great pride in having only top quality bedding in use for your comfort, beach and pool towels also included.
Beautiful totally private pool with waterfall along with a large patio sitting area thats seating and lounging for up to 30 people comfortable. We have just added basket ball for poolside entertainment. Fantastic restaurants are within walking distance. There is plenty to do! We are only 100 yards to the beach and three miles from Puerto Plata. Our property manager available daily. Special tours are offered right at the villa for pick-up and drop-off.

My daughters and I recently stayed here. It is a delightful, clean, well-maintained property. The bedrooms are large, the beds are very comfortable (the listing and the pictures as exactly what you get). We ate a terrific breakfast every morning in the dining room, the lanai is a breezy and relaxing spot to read a book, the pool is large. Maria is a talented cook. We enjoyed local dishes along with tradiitonal fare like eggs and pancakes. Jose was very helpful as well. It's a short walk to the beach and a couple of very good restaurants. Also, the owner was easy to communicate with, prompt in responding and very helpful in finding a place for us to stay when our plans changed and we arrived in the area a day earlier than this property was available.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

After 5 visits to Domincan Republic, this was our very best trip. The villa was absoultely perfect. It is very spacious, clean and well maintained. Maria and Carlos are the nicest people. They were always helpful. Maria is very good cook. The villa is located within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and casino. I have absolutely no complaints about this villa. I would definitely stay here again and I plan on recommending this place to all my friends that visit Puerto Plata.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

This villa is amazing! For anyone who is planning a family vacation this would be a great place for anyone to stay at.Great environment, clean, spacious, security. Its close to the beach, Maria and Carlos are very caring anything you need they'll get it for you. The city is nearby, restaurants etc. We all loved it. ...You might doubt the pictures, but once you're there you want to stay. I recommended it.

Hi Gary, We enjoyed our stay at Carolisol again. I love the openness and the traditional Spanish style. The beach is close by and so are a couple of nice restaurants. Maria and Carlos were friendly and a great help. I hope to get back soon.

I had the pleasure of staying here in 2001. It was the best vacation I had. The place is so large, I think I got lost at least three times in the house for the first couple of days. The pictures don't do the place justice. It is literally walking distance (not even a block) from the beach. We could see the sea from the upstairs bedroom. It was clean, well maintained and the house keepers were great despite my poor spanish at the time. I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting to live like royalty for the duration of their stay.
