  Once again we spent a couple weeks at this one bedroom villa on the beach. Again Daniele and Jean were excellent host who had everything ready when we arrived. They even have some cold beer in the fridge for hubby and some Coconut rum for me. There has been some very nice updates since last year. The newly added deck is nice and keeps some of the sand out of the villa. The pictures are exactly what it looks like and the villa is always clean. The weather was great and we kept the doors open the entire time we were home as to get the cool breeze that comes through the sliding glass doors. We always feel very safe and hardly see anyone walk between the villa and beach. We hope we can come back again next year. I can’t imagine anywhere as nice, peaceful and close to the beach as this villa for the price. There is a new ice cream shop in Maho called Gio’s. It is homemade and delicious as well as cheap. La Rosa is a great Italian restaurant in Maho located behind Cheri’s. We also found the French restaurant behind Cheri’s to be excellent. As usual J.N. Jewelers was ready to give us some great deals. If you go ask for Susheel.

  WE JUST RETURNED AFTER 1 WEEK IN ST. MARTIN STAYING AT THE ONE BEDROOM CONDO OF DANIELE AND JEAN-FRANCOIS. THIS WAS OUR THIRD TIME TO THE ISLAND AND OUR SECOND TIME STAYING @ DANIELE'S. THE OCEAN WAS AT OUR DOOR STEP, THE VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL. THE CONDO HAD EVERYTHING YOU COULD THINK OF AND MORE. THERE WAS NO NEED TO PUT ON THE AIR CONDITIONING THE OCEAN BREEZE WAS WONDERFUL. THIS IS NOT LUXURY BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A RELAXING, PEACEFUL, CASUAL VACATION THIS IS THE PLACE TO COME. DANIELE IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY AND KNOWS THE ISLAND VERY WELL. SHE RECOMMENDED LAVILLA IN GRAND CASE IT WAS WONDERFUL, ANYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW SHE IS THE ONE TO GO TO. FOR SURE WE WILL RETURN AGAIN AND HOPE TO STAY IN THE SAME UNIT.

  My husband and I just returned from St. Martin where we enjoyed 2 weeks of peaceful bliss. This was our 4th trip to SM. When Jean and Danielle say their Condo is right on the beach they do mean right on the beach. You step out the front door onto the sand. We had the front sliding doors open the entire time enjoying the tropical breeze. We never once got bit by anything except island life. The bedroom is in the rear but even when you close the front doors to retire at night you can hear the ocean which puts me right to sleep. Nettle Bay is a quiet gated area where we felt very safe. The Pizza joint across the street is cheap and very good. Our favorite place to eat is in Maho and is called Cheri’s. It is not french gourmet but it is very good for a very reasonable price and the mahi mahi and shrimp plate is delicious as well as the best French fries in the world. Danielle was very helpful and got us everything we needed. Special thanks to her nephew for loaning me the IPad charger. This is a very nice place for your money, it is not 5 star but if you want 5 star you won’t find it for these prices. Our only disappointment was the TV is not in English except for CNN. We suggest you don’t spend a lot of time watching TV but hubby was not feeling well so we spent more time in the condo then we expected. Thanks Danielle and Jean for a great vacation.

  My name is Mary & my boyfriend Keith and I stayed at this Condo for two days we paid for a week and were planning to stay for a week until the A/C stopped working. We were not reimbursed for any of our money. The beach you could not walk on, it was full of glass that was embedded into the sand and it was not sea glass. The pool and all the condos were old and needed a lot of work. The bathroom smelled very molding & musty & the window you could not close. The back door of this condo was very thin this was the entrance into the bedroom and anyone could have broken into it very easily. Therefore, we did not fill safe and there was not a safe to put your valuables.

  This is the second time we have stayed in Daniele and Jean Francois' studio apt. We thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Daniele and Jean Francois are great hosts and very helpful for any questions you might have about the island. The apt is small and cozy with all the amenities you need including a clothes washer. The view is fantastic, overlooking the pool and ocean. We really appreciated being in a secure, gated community where you don't have to worry about anyone breaking into your car. The location is close to many of our favorite beaches, incluing Mullet Bay, Plum Bay and Baie Rouge. It is also very convenient to shopping and restaurants in Marigot. We found an excellent restaurant right across the street - La Cigale. Although expensive, it was one of the best places we have ever dined. We will definitely return to this apt. for our next trip to St. Martin.

  My husband and I stayed in Daniele's unit during February for our tenth wedding anniversary. We truly had the best vacation ever. Daniele is wonderful, helpful and kind. The unit was extraordinarily clean. The king bed very comfortable. There is a safe. It had all we needed to cook, including a dishwasher! The unit also has a washer and dryer. The couches are comfortable. The pictures don't do it justice; it is much, much nicer! The location on Nettle Bay Beach is quiet with wonderful views of Marigot and of the island of Anguilla. You can swim directly in front of the unit, which I larger than I expected. I would walk each morning to a local bakery for croissants and baguettes. Delicious! It is a gated community, which adds to security. I would recommend this unit to my family, my friends and to anyone else planning a trip to St, Martin. Wonderful location, wonderful unit, a great experience overall. We hope to return again. Thank you Daniele, for helping us have the most memorable vacation we have ever had.

  My boyfriend and I stayed in their studio apt on the 2nd level. It was in pristine condition, private and felt very warm and cozy..not to mention only steps from the pool and beach. We grilled on the bbq a lot and enjoyed breakfast on our beautiful patio every morning. Daniele was an amazing host, and was very helpful with all her recommendations, a very friendly lady without being intrusive. She really made booking this trip a piece of cake, and returned all our emails promptly, offering a wealth of information. Nettle Bay was the best area too, and was so close to so many gorgeous beaches and restaurants, without the touristy feeling you get from the Dutch side, as well as Grand Case (though great for fine dining) and Orient Beach. We rented a car from a local place she referred us to, which I highly recommend doing, explored the entire island and were always pleased to come back to our area. There's a great little gourmet market really close by too. These folks are very laid back and polite.. Topless sunbathing is AOK, so you can return home without tan lines! We will most certainly rent from them again. You can't get a better deal than this, especially not at a hotel! Thanks so much! See you soon.

  My new wife and I stayed at the 1 BR Condo for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The owner and her boyfriend are probably the best you can find anywhere on VRBO. Our plane was late getting in and she stayed up to greet us right when our Taxi arrived. The airline had lost our bag which had our food and sunscreen and she even gave us dinner and some sunscreen so our first day wasn't wasted. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The condo is just as described and you can't beat the location, view or privacy of this place. We rented a car for 2 days and enjoyed the rest of the island and it's amazing world-class beaches. St. Martin is a very beautiful place but one could honestly stay put at this condo and feel like you haven't missed anything, it's that beautiful, it's that relaxing. Don't let the breakers in the picture deter you, they are there to keep the beach from eroding but we found that they really provide lots of privacy to swim in your own private beach and we enjoyed having them there for that reason. If you want a giant beach, I would suggest walking just 10-15 min down the road to Bay Rouge which is breathtaking and also quite private. Many thanks to the wonderful owners, we hope to return again in the future!

  March 2008. We spent a glorious and restful week at this studio unit. The pictures don’t do it justice. The dining table looks out onto the beach and water, with large yachts and even a cruise ship anchored in the bay. The kitchenette is very well appointed and has a beautiful granite counter top. The refrigerator had more than enough space to hold our groceries. We ate about half of our meals in the apartment looking out at the sea, and the rest of our meals at various restaurants and eateries—all good and some fantastic. We felt very safe there, with foot patrol security in the development and the neighbors (some apparent year-rounders) were very friendly. Daniele provided many nice touches and knows how to make you feel welcome. All of her recommendations proved to be solid. We can’t wait to go back!

  My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in the 1 bedroom villa in april 2006. We always go to a warm climate in the Spring and have stayed at some very nice places but this place was the best! It is very secluded and private and the water is literally steps from the patio. The hospitality received from Daniele and Jean-Francois was incredible and the shopping and dining were fabulous. It is a great value for the money!

  My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at the studio appartment here in February 2007 and they were wonderful accomodations. From the welcome gift to the excellent advice, Danielle and Jean-Francois are first class hosts. Having seen the 1 bedroom condo as well - I would highly recommend either for your trip to St. Martin.   We just returned ,1/1/07, and can't say enough about our stay.. The unit is informal, right on the beach (beach is at the doorstep),clean, the manager is delightful and extremely helpful. We will return.
