"Powder Promise" is a 1725 square foot 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house in the Wolf Creek Resort in Eden, Utah. We sleep 8 people in beds. Private hot tub as pictured, maintained weekly. We are 1 hour from the Salt Lake City airport. Right up the road about 10 minutes is Powder Mountain, voted #1 for best snow by Ski Magazine last year. Incredible backcountry skiing. Across the valley about 20 minutes ( no stoplights) is Snowbasin, site of the 2002 Olympic downhill , voted #1 by Ski Magazine for best lifts (awesome gondolas) and 2nd for food. (think "Vail" without the crowds)
There is a shuttle from the Wolf Creek Clubhouse to and from Powder Mountain. The Wolf Creek Club has 2 nice restaurants open to the public, nightly entertainment on weekends , a liquor store which includes a nice wine selection, and is a 3-4 minute drive from the house.
Included when you rent this house is a pass for the use of the Trapper's Ridge Clubhouse with a workout room, big hot tub, ping pong table, comfy sofas and big screen TV. The Trapper's Ridge Clubhouse has beautiful views of the Pineview reservoir and mountains. Just another apres ski place to hang out. It is walking distance from the house.
Why rent a condo and share a hot tub when you can rent your own house with a garage and a private hot tub for 300 bucks a night in the peak of ski season? This is a three bedroom HOUSE, with a garage. We think our place is the best deal in ski country. Bring your skis or board, your bathing suit (or not) and your silk pajamas.
Not a single stoplight in the entire valley, World-Class skiing, virtually no crowds and only a slightly longer drive to Park City, Snowbird, Alta, and the other Utah ski resorts. This area is still a secret for many people. If you want lift lines you will need to go somewhere else.
The house has great views of the mountains,(see pictures), private hot tub, wireless Internet access with a stand for your laptop in front of the fireplace, 3 TVs with satellite and DVDs, and has beautiful furnishings throughout. Premium movie channels HBO STRZ IFC and Sundance on the DIRECTV , and a MLB baseball package in the summer. Two car garage with remote access. Solid wood doors, slate floors,granite counter-tops, top of the line finishes, leather sectional and deluxe bedding. Truly the perfect ski cabin if you love skiing in Utah. And the golf course and cool mountains are nearby in the summer. New tennis courts are at the end of our street. There is even a keyboard setup for you music lovers out there.
The view from the main great room and Hot Tub is spectacular. You can sit and lounge while watching the sun set over Snow basin and the lights come on at Wolf Mountain across the valley. There is also a great view of Pineview Reservoir from the deck and Hot tub.
There is sleeping in beds for 8. One king, one queen and 4 singles in the bunkroom. Linens provided. The service is an additional $100. We also require a $500 refundable security deposit. And use tax from Weber County.
This is a new house just completed the week before Christmas 2005...
