Aloha and welcome to the fascinating Big Island! The plantation style Fairway Villas in the Waikoloa Beach Resort is the perfect location from which to explore this breathtaking island. Situated a mere 20 minutes north of the Kona Airport and directly across from the Kings’ Shops is where you will find your "home away from home".
This is a two bedroom, two bath villa located on the second floor of a three-floor complex with stairs and elevator for your use. This villa complex boasts two championship Robert Trent Jones golf courses for which guests are extended reduced greens fees.
Once you enter the villa your eyes capture a view from the lanai of palm trees swaying on the lusciously green first fairway of the Waikoloa Beach course. To your right is a fully equipped modern kitchen with a handsome granite slab countertop and cherry wood cabinets. Glass top dining table and bar stools provide ample seating for meals and the living room features a comfortable couch and chairs from which to view the television or rent a DVD movie.
Beyond the living room is the lanai overlooking the fairway with table and chairs for watching the sunrise or enjoying a tropical drink before your dinner. The guest bedroom is furnished with two twin beds, a television and a large, mirrored closet. The master bedroom features a California King bed, dresser, desk, large walk-in closet and a personal safe.
A spacious bathroom with two separate sinks, oval tub and walk-in glass shower allows for plenty of roominess. You can also bring your laptop with you as secure, wireless internet is available for your use. You are sure to feel the "aloha" spirit at Fairway Villas!
If you have never visited the Big Island, you are in for a treat. Here you will find a great variety of activities to fill your days. Only a 10 minute walk and you arrive at Anaeho’omalu, the breathtaking beach beyond the Marriott Resort where you can sunbathe, snorkel or learn to surf. More world class beaches, salt ponds and petroglyphs can be found a very short 10 minute drive from the villas at the Mauna Lanai and Hapuna Beach resorts.
Be sure to take time to relax and lounge or swim in the infinity edge pool and the hot tub surrounded by lava rock which are just across from the villa. Overlooking the pool are beautiful views of the golf fairway, the Kings’ lake and the Kings’ Shops.
The Kings’ Shops provides unparalleled shopping including souvenirs, clothing, Louis Vuitton & Coach stores, fine art and glasswork, jewelry, casual and fine dining (Roy‘s and Merriman‘s Cafe), and entertainment in the center pavilion. Just beyond the Kings’ Shops you will find the Marriott Resort and the Hilton Waikoloa which offer world class dining, shopping, tram and boat rides, dolphins and more!
Families are welcome, though this is a "no-smoking" and "no pets" villa.
On-grounds amenities include: gas BBQs, infinity edge swimming pool, lava rock surrounded hot tub, fitness center.
One covered parking spot is available to you and there is a security gate at the entrance of the complex.

"Thank you again for allowing us to rent your condo; we found it very comfortable and very well equipped (and amazing value). The Waikoloa Beach resort area certainly has many (very nice) amenities and the location allowed us to explore the North part of the Island (we stayed a second week in Kona and used that as our "South" exploration starting point). As it turns out, the Fairway Villas are very well located within the resort area; I had a hard time visualizing where different condo complexes were in this resort area when I was looking on line. You should definitely use that as a "selling" feature - your complex is as close to the shops as you can get (and probably one of the closest one to the little A beach). You can tell you guests that just to the left of A beach is a turtle resting area. A nice surprise! Thank you once again!"

Coming back to your condo felt like coming home, and this familiarity and ease was a big part of making our time in Hawai'i a wonderful one and making us feel comfortable on this fantastic island. We did some wonderful new things on this trip, including a horseback ride in the Waipio valley and a drive up to the very top of Mauna Kea (15000 ft) to view the sunset. We did a lot of cooking this time and for our next visit we are looking forward to having a Supermarket at the Queens Marketplace. Aloha and Thanks!
