This house is located on a canal with direct access to the Withalacoochee River which winds through Central Florida. It is only 20 minutes from The Withalacoochee National Preserve, where there is an abundance of hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding trails. This is also located near the newly developed Rails To Trails bicycling trail. The house is minutes from several bicycle trails.
Public boat ramps are minutes away from the house.You can enjoy fresh water fishing in the nearby river or lakes in the area. The house is located only one hour from Disney World and one and a half hours from Tampa. It is close enough to the Florida attractions but away from the traffic and crowds. There are numerous golf courses located nearby, including some spectacular championship courses.
The house is decorated in the country shabby chic design. All you need to do is to bring your clothes. Peace and quiet await you. There is a glassed in Florida room for romantic evenings or quiet conversations, also a lanai area to relax and watch breath taking sunsets on the swing. This is also a great place to enjoy the first cup of morning coffee.
This is the perfect place for a week or a month. Ask about a monthly rental discount; escape the cold winter and come to Florida for much less than a hotel room and have the conviences of home. There are additional air mattresses for doubles and singles.

- We are located near the Rails to Trails bike path, wind your way through this historic biking adventure. We are close to the Withalacoochee National Forest, board your horses nearby and take a scenic trail ride, Located near open air markets and the best darn corndogs in the country, so I am told.

$400-$500/week .. $1500-$2000/month all inclusive
$250 deposit for a week, $500.00 deposit for a month, $200 refundable pet deposit.
cancellation policy: must give 2 months cancellation notice to receive
the full deposit refund.

Property is not in Inverness. It is 6 miles outside of Inverness in a terrible location. If rent had not been prepaid would have turned round and left area. Leaking garbage bags left in garage with newspapers dated Oct. 9, 2009. Dirty towels left on top of washing machine, including 1 sheet. RED FLAG! Checked beds and discovered disheveled,rumpled sheets suggesting beds had been slept in. Had to clean down shower and tub and wash curtain. Purchased shower liner and bath mat to stand on for personal use. Dishes in dishwasher covered with a grey film and inside of dishwasher a disgusting dirty rusty colour. Never used same. Ruined whites in washing machine because of rust marks. When well water was tested it had a high iron content. Used bottled water for everything, including washing fruit. Cloudy coffee pot -not clean clear glass. Bought one for own use. Rusty burners on stove. Food left in refrigerator, including little tubs of butter from take-outs, presumably since Oct/09, and cluttered kitchen cabinets. Stains on living room furniture and carpet. Outside furniture and swing not fit to sit on. Found 2 towels outside under a pile of leaves. Reference in Guest Book (2-21-08/3-8-08) to dirty ice from ice maker. Exorbitant rent for conditions endured. Almost 4 months since property vacated and still waiting for return of deposit. First time rented through VRBO and because of this experience it will be the last.
Owner response:The house was left in uacceptable condition with stains on furniture and carpet. Evidence of pets were on carpet and furniture. Furniture had to be cleaned and some replaced. First negative experience with a renter. Every other tenent had great times and loved the quiet and serene location of the house.
