This spacious new home built in 2005 is set between the Ocean in front, and a beautiful forested Wet Land in the back. At almost 4000 sq feet of living area and decks, you will have plenty of room for everyone. The bedrooms are very large with either a King or Queen bed. And there are 2 dens with several additional beds.

- Off Street Parking : The driveway will hold 3 additional cars.
- Parking for RV/Boat/Trailer : We have additional parking at a lot OFF PREMISIS if you need to store the RV during your stay. You may be able to park the boat in the driveway or at our house 1 block away.
- Gas Fireplace : Accually it is an electric log fireplace, but looks like a gas log fireplace and adds the ambiance you are looking for.

- King Bed (2) : Two of the 5 bedrooms have King beds. All the bedrooms are very large.

- Double Bed (3) : The first floor den has two double beds One double bed (bottom bunk) in den area on 3rd floor
- Twin/Single Bed (4) : 3rd floor den has 1 twin bed, one twin top bunk. there are two twin hide-a beds for use anywhere. This room is all ocean view.

- Child Bed (3) : We have several (costco) trifold sleeping mats for small children, with pillos and quilts to go with them.

- Oceanfront : Look to your left, and the beach is rocky, with tide pools full of sealife.Look to your right and there is a sandy beach that goes on for miles. See our Google Earth picture.
- Mountain View : The house is located at the base of Tillamook Head, and is 1/2 mile from the trail head over to Ecola Beach. You can also see the Longbeach peninsula in Washington, and all the mountains behind Seaside.

- WiFi (Wireless Internet) : If you are wireless capeable, we have Charter Communications DSL wireless on the premises, with an excellant speed and signal strength.
- Other Amenities
- There isn't another Vacation Rental in the area that has the fantastic view we have. People come from all over for the surfing and you have a view of surfers, whales and fishing boats from the house. Anything we can do to connect you with local business, catering, weddings etc. just let us know. The house is 4000 square feet with plenty of room for everyone!
- Suitability
- No Pets Allowed : ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED. We wish to maintain an alergen free atmosphere, so at no time can we have pets in the building. We are aware that pets who travel are clean and well behaved. We don't allow them. There is a pet friendly condominium 1/2 block away.
- Kid Friendly : We have child gates available for the stairs, extra child sleeping mats to put your children in your room, and lots of room for bike riding and enjoying the beach. Seaside is a childs paradise!

Oceanfront Panoramic View on the Cove in Seaside!

Why the Owner Chose Seaside
The location of both #68490 & #148425 is unique, and has the best view on the Oregon Coast. It faces Northwest, and has a view of the surf coming in at an angle. You can watch surfers come all the way across the front of the house. You have to see it to believe it!
It is also out of the noise and confusion of the down town area, but only a short walk to the south end of the prom, and is much closer to the surf than any of the houses on the Prom.

When you arrive, the beds are made, the towels are out, and the only thing you have to do is unpack and stock the refrigerator! If there is anything you need prior to your stay, just let us know and we will do out best to aquire it for you.
We do not allow pets, or smoking and use alergen free cleaning materials to cater to those who are sensitive to chemicals and odors.
This trail goes to Indian beach. Ecola park beach, & Cannon beach, Steep in parts, but a fantastic view!
Walk just a few blocks to the south end of the Prom. This a wide sidewalk that i great for bike rides, roller blading or walking down town,
A great grocery store with everything you need when you don't want to get out on the highway to Safeway or Costo.
This beautiful 9 hole course is one of Seaside's historic treasures. Family owned for many years, it is a short walk from the house. There is also a bar and restaurant. Just ask for Wayne!
During the sumer enjoy live music outside on the deck, and unique meals with a wide assortment of beer and wines.
Many times during the year, Whales, Seals, Bay Dolphins and Pelicans play in the waters right in front of the house.
With Surfing access on the beach in front of the house, there is something for everyone. For the beginner there are waves breaking on the sand, and for the expert, the waves at the point are a chalange! Join in the fun, or just watch from the house!
The statue at the Turnaround on the Prom & Broadway is the heart of downtown. Be sure and have your picture taken with this famous bronze statue
Drop your Crab Pots off the 12th Ave bridge, and join the locals for an afternoon of fun while you wait for your catch to come in!

Ron and I designed and built this house in 2004 as our own home. Ron has been a contractor in Seaside for 39 years. It has many extras, and was our dream house. When we had an opportunity to build another up the street we decided to use this as a vacation rental. I have a State Farm Insurance agency in Warrenton, and both of us personally manage the Sunset Cove Vacation Rental. Because we are close by, we are able to help you with any questions you may have about the area.

Large Family Memorial Day Weekend Stay

Our four families with a total of 17 stayed here for the 2011 Memorial Day Weekend. We usually stay in the Lincoln city area so Seaside was new to us. The house was wonderful. The description doesn't do it justice. The home was very clean and well-maintained. We loved watching the surfers, fishermen and beachcombers. We sited whale spouts and a Bald Eagle! Some walked downtown and some rented pedal cars. Our beachcombers collected a bucket full of sand dollars that will be used for a vacation Bible school project. We enjoyed a sunny day with a fire on the beach with s'mores and hotdogs. Ken's Market had everything we needed and were very friendly. Kids hung out in the upstairs loft area and hooked up our Wii to the TV. Sunset views were gorgeous. The house was well equiped with 2 laundry areas, spacious bathrooms, well equiped kitchen and plenty of comfy beds. We were met by the friendly owner and a phone call regarding the heat was quickly answered. Only a couple of drawbacks - there are a lot of stairs so if you have some older folks with bad knees you might consider that and we have lots of cooks so the kitchen seemed cramped with several of us prepping/cooking together. We will recommend this property to friends and family and will definitly come again. Thanks for a memorable weekend!

My friends and I rented this townhouse, along with #148425, for a weekend getaway (3 days, 2 nights.) There was 25 of us, age ranging from 21-25. If I was to describe my experience in one word, it'd be PERFECT! Not one single person had anything negative to say (although a larger cutting board would be ideal, but lets not digress. Lol) Everyone was in awe and speechless the moment they arrived. Both townhouses were very spacious, no one felt cramped at all. There was a bathroom on each floor, with an extra one on the top floor. One thing I was worried about was if there would be enough hot water for 25 people and yes, there was plenty of hot water! Both houses were very well-equipped with towels, blankets, extra cots, and kitchen ware. We practically didn't need anything except food! The top two floors had huge windows, so the ocean view was gorgeous! We're all from rainy Seattle, so no one had complaints when the sun was shining in the morning.. it was very welcomed. The owners stopped by a few times to ask how we were doing and if we needed anything, something I definitely appreciated. They were very welcoming and did not make us feel like we were being watched which was something I worried about, given our age group. But this was not the case at all. The location couldn't be any better.. Right off the water and grocery stores/shops/restaurants were very close-- about a five minute drive. I love that they had a "tourist" area-- several blocks full of cute specialty shops, huge arcade for kids, candy/ice cream stores, an aquariam, rental stores for scooters/tandem bikes, etc. What makes it even better is the beach is about a block away from all this! After staying here, I think we've been spoiled. We're trying to find something similar to this in Lake Chelan, WA and I have to say, it has NOT been an easy feat. I don't think we'll ever be able to find a rental home (with a gorgeous view, great location, cheap pricing and spacious enough for 25+ people) as good as these rentals!! I have no doubt in my mind that we'll be back again. It'll definitely be a longer stay next time! Thank you soo much Marcy & Ron!

Perfect for a Large Group - Amazing View

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Sunset Cove. We had 15 family members together to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of my husband's parents. The unit was large enough that we didn't feel overly cramped and the beds were very comfortable. By putting up an additional portable table we found in one of the closets, we were able to put together a family dining space where everyone could eat together. Everything was very clean and Ron was quick to respond when we had a small issue with electrical outlets our first night there. The ocean view was amazing - this is truly oceanfront - and we enjoyed watching the waves and the beach. In between rain showers we were able to take some beach walks. We cooked a lot and the kitchen worked very well. I was pleasantly surprised to find both a crackpot and a couple of electric griddles in the cupboards. Although we had brought our own, it was nice to have a second griddle when making French toast for 15 people! The kitchen could use another cutting board and a set of measuring cups/spoons, but other than that, we had everything we needed. The only other comment that was made was since the third floor loft has sleeping space but no window coverings, the people sleeping there found it difficult to sleep once the sun starting coming up. Then again, they had a spectacular view of the ocean. Overall we had a wonderful stay and everyone had a great time. I'll definitely recommend Sunset Cove to anyone who needs a space for a large group.

The dinning room tables easily seat 18, but it is nice to have extra space for buffets on the portable tables available. There is plenty of room, thats for sure! There was no problem resetting the GFI, in the kitchen for you , and were glad you had no problem, with all your extra grills during your stay. We have never had that problem in the house before because it is so new. Our view is so fantastic that you will not want to miss a minute of it! For larger parties, add the next door unit # 148425 for up to 30 guests!

My family and I have stayed at Sunset Cove vacation rental 2 times now and hope to make it a yearly tradition in memory of my mom. We looked for a place for my 83-yr-old dad, 5 siblings and spouses with 6 separate sleeping spaces for adults and this home fits us perfectly. There are plenty of bathrooms and group living spaces. LOVE IT! Of course, the main attraction at Sunset Cove is the million dollar view. Your breath will be taken away when you walk into the 2nd or 3rd floor living rooms. You won't find a more beautiful view anywhere, no matter what the weather, with panoramic views of the Seaside Cove and its majestic waves, surfers, and sunsets. (If the waves are right, the surfers will be there, even in the rain!) Sunset Cove has a well-equipped kitchen and is clean throughout. The 2 dining tables seat many people all at the same time and are wonderful for our family meals and table games. There are lots of spare chairs in the closets if needed. Because the house has 3 floors, people need to be able to climb steps. We are very grateful to Ron and Marcy for sharing this special place with our extended family. We're creating so many special family memories at this fabulous location. You can't go wrong in renting Sunset Cove!

We stayd in this lovely spacious home in June 2007. It is everything it says it is, plus more. The view is incredible. We have stayed at several places and have never spent so much time just enjoying the views. We saw the bay dolfins and even a whale, entertained by surfers and many ships etc. The home is huge and so comfortable. With the 3 levels, (all above ground) our 4 familes, 9 adults and 6 children, fit very nicely. There were quiet spaces for little naps, and enough room for all of us to sit and eat together. The owners are wonderful to work with and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable, from a crib and high chair to two gas grills to feed our group. The home was very clean, and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked and large enough for a few cooks. :-) We certaily hope we will be able to return to this wonderful home again. Our many thanks to the owners.

This was a great house. We celebrated my parent's 50th and had plenty or room for everyone, 8 adults and 6 children. We even had a spare room that wasn't used. The ocean view is unbeatable! Bring your surf board, if you surf. The owners were great! I highly recommend this place.
