Why the Owner Chose Resort Plaza
Location, location, location! Our condo's location at Resort Plaza at the base Park City Mountain Resort allows guests to be skiing within a couple minutes of leaving the condo. The the ticket windows, chairlift, ski school and/or rental shops are accessed by just stepping outside the condo!
Park City is the most easily accessed ski destination in the west. Salt Lake City airport is an easy 38 mile (40 min.) drive. With three world class ski resorts right in Park City (and 5 other ski resorts within an hour) your choices are many to be skiing on "the greatest snow on earth" in no time. Utah is known for its extremely dry fluffy powder and typically receives over 400" of snow a season.
Utah also offers many year round activities and is home to a large number of national parks such as Arches, The Canyonlands, Zion, Bryce Canyon, as well as others. Our condo in Park City is a wonderful hub for all UT has to offer.

Great family ski vacation condo

My family of four stayed in this condo for 5 nights, Dec 17 - 22. It was one of the best equipped condos we have ever stayed in. I have rented frequently with VRBO and this was one of the most positive experiences overall. Belinda was extremely thorough and timely with all communications. The info at the condo and supplied beforehand by Belinda was very useful. She was always available by email and responded very quickly. The condo itself was very comfortable. We were traveling with our two daughters who are 21 and 24 years old. This was one of the only condos I found that had two queen sized beds in the second bedroom. Most have only one queen bed. They were each able to have their own bed which was a plus. The bedrooms are very separated and both had their own nicely equipped bathrooms. The kitchen was great with a huge granite counter top/bar that made food prep and eating very easy. The furniture was very comfy for our family. The location is incredible. We came in for lunch every day while skiing as our condo was actually closer than some of the other base area lunch options. We were about 100 steps to the ticket window. Also, we were a one minute walk to the bus stop to catch the free Park City bus that takes you every where. Overall, this was a great family vacation due to the comfort and location of the condo. the negatives, which are extremely minor, would be that you can occasionally hear music from the Baja Cantina just below the unit. But it really was not an issue. You must walk to another building to use the jacuzzi and fitness center. Also, a higher floor would have afforded a better view. But than we would have meant more stairs to climb! The actual unit location was so convenient as you go down one small flight to get out the back door and to the ticket booths...really cannot get any closer. We would definitely rent this condo again and highly recommend it to others. My husband was a ski bum Park City in the 70s and it was great sharing the town and mountain with our daughters for the first time. Thanks, Belinda, for everything!

Great Convenient Condo - Right At Mountain

The condo was great. 2 large beds in 2nd bedroom; a solid king size in the master bedroom; good size living room, modern kitchen. More impressive was the location. Unlike skiing in the East, the base lodge area - all just a few steps from the condo, has several resaurants, several ski rental (cheap to rent; about $22 / day) and equipment places, a chocolate store, indoor/outdoor pool with hottubs. A few bars (4?) also. I would walk 10 steps to pick up the skis at the rental place (we used Jake's), 10 steps to pick up lift tickets and right to the lift (payday lift - main lift on mountain). I could not get over the convenience. Town was just 1/2 mile away, have to spend some time there too. Strongly recommend you stay at the mountain; who wants to load a car! Kids got tired around 2 and just went back to the Condo, we kept skiing. Mountain was awesome - 3 days and we didn't cover the whole thing. From easy (one run "homerun" goes from the top of the mountain to the bottom on green), to as challenging as you want. Lots of wide groomed intermediate trails. 40 minutes to Salt Lake City. Great condo; great mountain. My first time out west, can't wait to go again.

I STAYED IN THIS CONDO WITH MY BEST FRIEND FOR A WEEK IN DECEMBER. I HAD NOT SKIED IN OVER FIFTEEN YEARS AND THIS TRIP AND CONDO MADE ME REALIZE WHAT I HAD BEEN MISSING! THE CONDO IS BEAUTIFUL AND IS RIGHT IN THE HUB OF SKIING IN PC. IT IS SPACIOUS AND OFFERS LOVELY SURROUNDINGS. THE ENTRY IS GREAT AND OFFERS THE PERFECT PLACE TO LOAD AND UNLOAD ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT. THE BEDROOMS ARE RELAXING AND QUIET AND LARGER THAN MOST PLACES I'VE STAYED. THE BATHROOMS ARE SERENE AND UPDATED AND WERE STOCKED WITH NICE TOILETRIES. THE KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM'S OPEN PLAN MADE COOKING FUN AND SOCIAL. THE VIEW FROM THE LIVING ROOM IS WONDERFUL AND QUAINT AND WATCHING SKIERS COME AND GO WAS FUN. THE CONVENIENCE TO EQUIPMENT, TICKETS, FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT CAN'T GET ANY BETTER. THIS PLACE HAS A VERY GOOD FEEL FROM EVERY ASPECT. I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN AND TELL FRIENDS TO DO THE SAME!

The best location: one day we came down the slopes early, at 3:00. One of our party decided to walk a few steps to go shopping. One of us grabbed a beer in the sunny courtyard. I walked back out and took the lift for thousands of more vertical.

We have stayed at this condo with our kids and it has been the perfect spot for skiing in Park City. It is right on the Plaza with easy access to the ski lifts and ski school. The condo is close to all the activities and shops at the slopes. The owners of the unit are very helpful and provide you with a wealth of information about visiting Park City.

We have stayed in the two-bedroom unit and found it to be everything promised in the Web site and more! It is clear the owners have thought of all of your needs as a guest -- from the entry area with convenient ski racks and places to store your boots, gloves, etc., to the gorgeous new kitchen with every appliance you could want, to the washer and dryer, WiFi internet access and cozy gas fireplace. With the king bed, 2 queens and sleeper sofa, we were able to comfortably fit 8 in this spacious unit. The balcony overlooks the restaurants and resort shopping in the plaza and is a great place for an evening drink! And, as described, it is truly ski-in, ski-out -- just steps from the Pay Day ski lift and the lift ticket window at the base of Park City Mountain Resort. We left our car parked for the entire stay and enjoyed the free shuttle to Main Street for evening entertainment (it is close enough to walk too). Made for a wonderful family vacation!
