Just spent a week in this VRBO rental and had an absolutely great time. The house is very comfortable and couldn't be located any better on this beautiful lake and the Pontoon boat was great. The Fishing was amazing - Never been fishing when everybody in the Pontoon Boat had a bite or caught a fish at the same time. What fun!!! Any issues ( which were minor) were quickly resolved by the very accomodating caretaker, Leon, or by Jim, the owner. Looking forward to next summer already. Thanks, Jim, for sharing your property!

Fishing on Deer Lake was great. I've been fishing most of my married life (59yrs.) and this was the first time I caught fish on my first 10 casts. (8-10" crappie & bluegills.} Caught fish every time we went out. The cabin was nice and close to the lake, but for old people like us (82) needed a couple chairs with arms as it was too hard for us to get out of the couch as it sunk down too low.

Our family stayed at the cabin on Deer Lake in mid August, 2007. The water was very clear with few weeds. Neighbors are great. We had a few minor issues with the cabin and the owners (Jim & Jessie) as well as their assistant (John)were very responsive. It worked out well and we reserved again for next year.

our week stay was great...nice sand beach for my grandkids, 2,5 & 7 yrs old...lots of sunfish off the dock, some bass, even a small muskie...best of all they liked the pontoon rental...cabin was great, neighbors were very nice...a great vacation..have rented it for next year already...

Our family stayed on Deer Lake during the week between Christmas & New Year's. We had a nice vacation. The cabin is right on the water (or the ice), and it has been fixed up to be bright, clean, and comfortable.

Can't say enough about the fishing. Right off the dock you can catch Bass, Perch, and Panfish. We average about thirty between the dock, and the lake a day. The Cabin is very comfortable, and quite functional. The beach is perfect for our three and five year old to practice their swimming. What more can we say, "We love it".
