My husband and I purchased our condo after coming to Key West for nearly 30 years. This is our favorite place to escape to. You can truely get on "island time" here. Whether you are just hanging out on the sundeck or by the pool, biking around the island, or bar hopping, Key West has something to offer everyone. There is really more to do here than most people have the time to do. We took great pride in decorating our condo with a Key West theme. This can be your home away from home also.
Why the Owner Chose Truman Annex
We purchased here because Shipyard Condos are located in a private community Truman Annex. We are just two blocks from Duval Street, and do not need a car when we are there. You can just hang out, or be in the heart of everything. Your choice.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
The large sundeck in the rear courtyard is an extension of the condo, and is lovely almost all months of the year. Nice night lighting and tropical palm trees and plants make for a lush landscape. Great for sunbathing!

Everything represented about property was exactly as described. Couldn't have asked for a better, nicer, cleaner, more comfortable experience. Penny was a pleasure to deal with and very professional. The condo is immaculate, safe, and in the perfect location for anything you would want or need. We fell in love with Sunshine the cat who Penny so thoughtfully leaves food for you to make friends with a local feline. The pool is right acroos the street and had just been updated. Very nice! The guardhouse is right out the door. The Hemingway House and Lighthouse is just a couple short blocks away. The restaurants are awesome. We loved the Blue Heaven and Schooners Wharf. But also enjoyed Pepes and Conch Republic. Penny sent us a packet with perfect directions to condo when she mailed keys to us. She included passcodes for gated entry and layout of condo parking. The home is lovingly decorated with a tropical flare. All appliances worked. Soap, detergent, towels, and bedding were in ample supply. I can definitely recommend this condo as nice as nice can be and will definitely stay again sometime. Thank you Penny! The Eshleman's , NJ

Gf and I just spent a week doing nothing but resting and relaxing, this place was very central to Duval Street and the local beach. We are looking forward to our trip next year to key west and enjoying the hospitality of this quant little home away from home.

We celebrated our anniversary in this lovely two bedroom condo, close to everything Key West is famous for. Quiet and tranquil, close to the best beach, Ft Zachary Taylor, an awesome spot for the whole family. Walk to Duval Street, take a Sunset cruise, or just enjoy a quiet dinner on the beautiful outside deck, lush with tropical ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be repeat guests!
