  Exceaded all our expectations. Was closer to everything than we had thought (via.. subways) wich are very user friendly to those who have not used them before. Very close to the best restaraunt I have ever ate at , a diamond in the rough very much how I would describe this place. Very clean and well maintained would highly recomend this place. we will be going back as much as possible. Fell in love with the place, and maid some new friends for life. Robert, Dennis(son,father) , UTAH, USA 'We travel around the world quite a bit but this was our first ever visit to New York and we had planned to stay to the centre like most people then while looking for hotels we came across this gem in woodside - great transport links 5 minute walk to woodside station for train or subway. 15 minutes from JFK by car and the airtrain goes from the station. if you want a true feeling of NYC, its people and suburbs this place is great matt, london

  This was a comfortable, clean apartment, within 10 mins walking distance of a Subway station which took us directly into the heart of Manhattan. The rooms were well-proportioned and the beds very comfortable. The whole apartment was well furnished and we had everything we needed. It was useful to have use of the washing machine and drier in the garage below the apartments too. We didn't get chance to meet up with Grace or Christina, but had regular contact by phone and felt we could get in touch at any point.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

  Four adults and two children. Great location and area. Quiet neighbourhood. Park close by and safe for kids. Lots of room and not crowded. Description of the apt is not correct. There are only two bedrooms. The third bedroom is in the kitchen cum living room and has a curtain as divider. The air-condition unit was outside the window of the bedroom and very noisy. Could not be turned off even if you did not want air conditioning. The seating in the living section is a bed settee and a bed frame with a matress. Neither were comfortable at all. Washer and dryer were in garage below and were coin operated. Any rental accomodation I have been in previously these have been provided in the price. There is enough being charged for the rental. During our stay there were tenants in the apt upstairs. All sound carries through and their kids being up VERY early in the morning woke us. I would recommend it for the location but not if you want to get a decent nights sleep. Not because of the beds. The quality of the beds was first class. Clean bed linen lots of towels and apt clean on arrival. Air Conditioning unit outside the window and tenants in the upstairs apt bring down the recommending of this apt big time.

  We've just returned from our family holiday in NY - we = our two adult sons with their girlfriends, our daughter and ourselves. Apartment B was really spacious and offered everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the street was quiet during the nights. We felt at ease in the area, even at night, returning from the city. It was great to have a place to relax and cook meals for the family. We liked the idea of living in residential area and felt less touristy because of it. If we get the chance, we'll certainly return!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

  We stayed in property D which had everything you need for a comfortable stay near enough to the bright lights of New York to travel easily in and out via the subway. The property is well equiped, well decorated and conviniently placed in Queens near to the 7 subway line that takes you directly into Times Square in about 20 minutes. The local area has a number of coffee shops, bars, convenience stores/supermarkets and sit in/take away restaurants. If you want to experience New York as a 'local' and want a family friendly alternative to hotels this is a good place to stay.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  If you are looking for a larger property then I would highly recommend this townhouse, the owners were very helpful leading up to our stay and on arrival the property presented very well. Super Mike who lives onsite was very helpful and easy to contact. The property was about 10 mins sub ride into Time Sqaure and was easy to do. If you want to get out of the rat race of the center of New york then stay here, close to all shops, pubs, coffee shops etc.

  This rental property is in a super clean and nice condition. Especially, the owners are very kind thoughtful and friendly. After the rental confirmation, they emailed us the directions, instruction and recommendations around that location, that help us a lot to get around places. Any requests that we had been fulfilled efficiently.

  We had a great time at the apartment. NYC was the last stop in our American trip. After 4 weeks of staying in hostels and hotels, the apartment was amazing.Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, modern and clean furniture. We thought the apartment would be good but not this good! Having our own kitchen was such a bonus too. Train station is 5mins walk - it's so easy and quick to get into Manhattan.Would definitely stay again! Blake, Perth, Western Australia

  Hi Grace and Tony, I just wanted to drop you a short note to say how much we enjoyed our stay in Woodside and NYC. Sorry for the delay in writing but we have been away until last couple of day in the UK and have only just returned to Portugal and work. The apartment did everything we wanted it too and will recommend it to any friends or family planning to do the same trip as we did. We loved NYC, and hope to be back sometime soon as we did not get all we wanted to do done. Thanks for your hospitality and Happy New Year The Winstanley Family

  Dear Grace and Tony, I have been meaning to write to you guys and thank you for the wonderful experience we had. It was by far one of the best vacations i have had. Tony was great. The only regret i have was that i did not have the opportunity to meet you. The place was awesome, perfect for my family. We loved not being in the city but also knowing we where only a few minutes away. We have plans to return and book with you again. I am goign to direct as much traffic to your place as possible. Everything was perfect. I would like to be able to post something on your website to give you great feedback and give answer to some of the questions paople may have about your place the location and new york in general.
