Very Comfortable place to Stay

Aloha, this was our second time visiting Kauai. We like this island because it is less commercial and more off the beaten path. We like Princeville, as you are able to enjoy the comforts of suburbia, and yet you are a maximum of 10 to 15 minutes to Hanalei (a local town geared to tourists and local surfers) or less than 5 minutes to the local grocery store for food and supplies. Princeville is on the North Shore and there are probably 10 different beaches.. all with unique characters. There are about 5 hiking trails of varying difficulty within a 45 minutes drive. You can take a surf lesson or browse the boutiques at Hanalei. We enjoy the sunsets at Kee beach where you will find many with cameras at hand, on a daily basis. This 2 bedroom with 2 full bathrooms condo was ideal for our stay. The full kitchen, dinning area and living room were great to return to after our daily excursions. The back lanai enjoyed views of mountains and a distant view of the ocean. We sat out almost everyday for our morning coffee. This lower level condo is very close to the pool and hottub area where we found ourselves on occasion. Good quality BBQ's were also located here. Scott was very good to work with in all regards. It does not surprise me that this property is booked months in advance. Mahalo.

My husband and I had an incredible week's stay in October 2010. It was our first trip to Kauai and for us, Princeville was definitely the way to go. The condo was very clean, peaceful, comfortable and beautifully situated. We absolutely loved breakfasts & sunsets on the lanai (the photos don't do the views justice) and it was so helpful to have beach gear / towels on hand. We were concerned that with the pool nearby, it could be noisy, but that was never once an issue. Parking was always readily available. And as another reviewer mentioned, the owner was so great to work with. Thanks, Scott! We'll definitely be back.

Everything as advertised and more!! We spent a wonderful week in Kauai (March 7th to 14th, 2008) and soooo sorry we didn't spend our entire vacation there. The north shore is just amazing- peaceful AND uncrowded. This beautiful condo has everything you would need for a great day snorkeling at the beach, or just load up the cooler for a day of sightseeing, then relax in the hottub or pool right outside your door in the evening. We loved waking up to the roosters crowing in the morning, sitting out on the lanai with a cup of coffee and just taking in the fantastic view. Visits from the nene geese every morning for a share of your breakfast (you can hand feed them). So many memories.... I'm just wishing as I write this that we were back there right now!! We will never forget this vacation. Already planning for next year....... Thanks Scott!
