Majestic ancient oaks, two private docks, slip covered dock, and a swim platform dock, small beach, level yard, and comfortable walk from the house to the Lake (no steps, no stairs, not steep). Nice and Easy to get to the Lake in a very quiet natural setting.

Rejuvenate and relax in our beautiful and peaceful cove. Enjoy fishing? Great fishing right off the dock! Stripped, spotted and large mouth bass, bluegill, sunshine and catfish have been caught here.

Take the paddleboat included with your stay and explore the shoreline or one of the many deserted Islands. South Lake Lanier has something for everyone! Whether you are into boating, water sports, fishing, fabulous dining, serious golf, hiking or shopping you won’t find a more convenient location on the lake.

Located just two miles from GA 400, between Tidwell Park and Young Deer Park, it’s as convenient as it can get, yet still feel miles away from it all. Boat ramp 2 minutes away. Only a few houses on our street its both private and quiet.

The first thing you'll notice when you enter the house are the beautiful hardwood floors and cozy inviting atmosphere. The bedrooms have a fresh “cottage by the lake” theme. The bathroom has a French country theme, and a freestanding vintage cast iron claw foot tub/shower that is simply adorable. The house is full of old charm combined with modern comforts. Bring a laptop and enjoy the Internet, check your email with wireless Internet.

Large screened porch overlooks the lake, perfect for entertaining, two wood chair swings perfect to relax, read a great book, daydream and enjoy the birds singing. It’s just a wonderful charming retreat. A Great Getaway for couples and families, come and make memories that will last a lifetime with abundant activities and attractions, the only limit is the length of your stay.

Conveniently located 1 hour north of Atlanta International Airport, 10 minutes to town, cinemas, great restaurants, Super target, Wal-Mart, Pier 1, plus an array of small stores, antiques and boutiques. At least 3 different huge malls are within 15 - 30 minutes. The possibilities are endless; we provide maps, directions and local info. Bald Ridge Marina is just 15 minutes away and Holiday Marina is around 25 minutes. Boat rentals, shopping, and restaurants available nearby.

  • Such a perfect place to have a family reunion. Less than 2 miles from my parents' home. Tranquil and scenic location. Comfortably decorated home. Very comfortable. Paddle boat was enjoyed by all, especially the kids who explored the nearby island. Only complaint...just one small bluegill!! but saw hawks and herons overhead.

  • What a great family vacation we had at your charming cottage! Thanks for everything. Our kids had a blast, they had the time of their lives jumping off the two private docks, swimming, fishing and building sand castles on the beach for hours. We loved the cove, explored it in the paddleboat, great leg exercise too. The cottage is beautifully decorated, it had everything we needed and more, beds were comfortable, furniture was new and of good quality, appliances were great, we barbequed a lot and we used the porch for all our meals. The cottage was the perfect place to end each day at the lake. Thanks for the great selection of DVD movies, board games, books and all the flowers everywhere. We were all sad to leave but will definetely be back again, the kids will make sure of that. Thanks again for sharing your cozy and lovely home and the wonderful memories.

  • This is a wonderful getaway. It is so close, but you feel very far away from it all. It really gives you a feeling of peace. The covered porch was a great place to eat and relax without the bugs. We had a great time and even caught a few fish.

  • When it was time to go, we did not want to leave. It was quiet and private. A great getaway. The fishing was nice. Caught a few. It was clean, close to shopping yet far enough away from the noise of other activities on the lake. Can't wait to return. Lara and Andrew were very accomadating and attentive. We had a family emergency with our family located overseas and when they found out, Lara and Andrew supplied us with the means to keep in close contact with them. Had it not been for that, we may have had to cut our vacation short and head home. Thank you, Lara and Andrew so very much for everything and we look forward to our next visit.
