  We gave up trying other beaches & resorts years ago after finding this outstanding treasure! It has it all--the most beautiful beaches, every amenity imaginable, with easy access to shopping, activities, and great food, much of which is in walking distance. We come back to this same condo every year now, both with and without our kids. Not only is it the most comfortable place we've stayed with all the luxuries of home, it offers something for everyone. Our kids love the playground, pools with water falls, strolling to the candy & ice cream shop, renting jet skis & paddle boards on the beach, and meals at our favorite beach front restaurants. Enjoying morning coffee or cocktails from the balcony of this condo is another favorite time of ours here that always leaves us with special memories. Whether taking in a spectacular nightly sunset, watching the dolphins at sunrise, or watching & listening to the waves under the moonlight, we are always able to find some special moments of Zen here. We have traveled out of the country to more exotic locales, but have found this to be the prettiest, cleanest, and safest resort choice for our family. I would definitely recommend booking this condo well in advance so you don't miss an opportunity to enjoy it next year!

  This was our second time staying here and it was, like the first time, a wonderful experience. The view of the ocean from the balcony is amazing and the lull of the waves makes all of your stress melt away. Everything was neat and tidy (it is also well decorated and you have an amazing view of the ocean from the master bedroom) and we love the kitchen (it has every cooking instrument imaginable). Also, there is a Fresh Market just down the street if you feel like staying in and making dinner. The pool is really big and there are also tennis courts (we always bring our racquets). If you're looking for a peaceful, comfortable, getaway I highly recommend it!

  This is a beautiful, spacious, clean, and well decorated condo with the best view in Destin! Local shopping, attractions, and amenities are excellent and Silver Shells is by far the nicest resort in Destin. I highly recommend this condo to any small family seeking an excellent vacation experience!

  What a wonderful condo with a wonderful view of the pool and the ocean! We were delighted with our week at Silver Shells. Loved the weather and loved the amenities. Silver Shells does a great job of keeping the condo facilities clean and smelling fresh. The fitness and cardio centers are definitely favorites of the amenities. Working with the Barnhills was so easy. The welcome package gave us useful info to make our stay at Destin very enjoyable. We hope to return and have a wonderful weather week again.

  The owner was so great to work with. This condo is well maintained and very clean. You couldn't be in a more perfect location and the view is amazing. You can't go wrong with this one.

  We just returned from Destin, and this unit is just beautiful. It was very clean and very well decorated. Frank and Geneva were wonderful to deal with. I liked the little extras like make-up remover in each bathroom. Of all the places we have stayed in Destin, I can honestly say this is the most beautiful. Even the grounds at Silver Shells were very well taken care of. You will love the pool, the unit and the grounds. We plan to return next year. I would highly recommend this property and this unit.

  The condo was comfortable and in good condition. Frank and Geneva seem to have thought about all the little niceties like providing paper towels, dishwasher soap, etc. The complex is great for children with the lagoon pool, beach and beachside bar. We hope to stay again sometime soon! Thanks for everything!

  We just got home from our "snowbird" stay of 2 months. Everyting about the condo exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not give justice to how inviting the condo happens to be. Silver Shells is a great resort. Mr. Barnhill is so nice in providing extra info about Destin. Looking forward to staying in Destin in the future. The Henrys from Maryland
