Kitchen built into back of bar plus view of ladder leading to sleeping loft

About 12 years ago my husband and I renovated one of the many old saloons in Leadville, Colorado. This historic town, once the largest mining community in the state, home of many legendary heros, was for a short time under consideration to be the Capital of Colorado. We have reconditioned the 8-stool oak bar, added a full kitchen, and renovated the bathroom to include a jet tub as well as a shower. An interior bedroom (no windows) in the back of the spacious living area contains a very comfortable queen-size bed, closet and dresser.
The sitting area includes a gas fireplace, queen size sofa bed (very comfortable), love seat and overstuffed chair. A one person sleeping loft has been fashioned over the closets. A custom made cushion makes this loft ideal for sleeping. The loft is accessible by a ladder and appropriate for a 10 year old child through adult. Choose from eating at the bar on one of the 8 stools or in the renovated bar booth that seats 4. Property manager is available and close at hand for any questions or concerns.
We ask that our renters do not smoke in the Saloon. There is a side door to a large deck for this purpose.

Owner Description
We are Jeff and Deb Dykes and we live in beautiful mountain valley community called ohio City on the western slope of Colorado. Two years ago we moved from the Denver Metro area, building a log home and changing our life style. Both of us still work in our same careers. We miss our children and grandson who live in Denver and try as much as we can to visit them and have them visit us.
