The resort has been enlarging all along the promenade, which goes parallel to the long beach between Schiso Cape in the South to Taormina Cape in the North-West.
For a long time, it was meant simply as a place to rest before getting to Taormina. The so called "Village of the Gardens", thanks to the cotton and sugar plantations (later substituted by citrus fruit plantations), which were the basic source for the living, has become, from the 1950s, an important tourist resort, thanks to Taormina which attracts lots of tourists and stands as a magnificent background.
Besides its natural beauty, Naxos has an archaeological site, well kept, where open air ruins and a fine little museum testify glories of ancient origins ( VII-VI century B.C.).
The sea is just at hand: cross the red gate and you will be on the wonderful beach of Tarmina Bay and in the centre of Naxos village!
Just at the entrance of the residence, you will come to a wide private Mediterranean garden where 3 two-floor buildings are settled, each enjoying its exotic perfumes and plants, Sebastiano takes care of all year round.
The one-room flat is on the 2nd floor of one of the three buildings, called "La Romantica". It is entered directly off the landing of the staircase.
The flat is perfect for two people who want the conveniences of a flat in the centre of the resort with all major sites within walking distances, and an enjoyable spot to spend your holiday. Furnished with blue and turquoise touches, it is composed of a king-sized bed and a sofa bed, a kitchenette, a living-room corner, a place for the washing machine, and a bathroom with a shower. A large balcony with the use of water and light overlooks the green, exotic plants here and there and lets you have relaxing time. An avocado tree stands by, giving you refreshing feelings.
From the terrace above the flat, which belongs to the property, you can enjoy a super view of the volcano, the bay and Taormina. A marble table, deck chairs, light and a tape for water give you the chance of nice romantic meals and drinks.
A private car park (number 26), shadowed by green creeper, is for your personal use.
Security is good: the resort is regarded as safe. However, as in any resort cities, we advice you to use caution.

We arrived at the Giardini Naxos studio apartment after dark and Silvana and her husband were waiting for us at the gate after providing us directions on the way over the phone. The apartment was clean, well maintained and had a great terrace overlooking the garden below. The terrace was the best part of the studio and provided a lovely location for meals. Silvana was quite helpful, she provided touring directions and pointed out where to find the grocery store. All was very good with the exception of the kitchen facilities, which were extremely limited. The listing photo of the kitchen, which shows a small stove with oven, is not accurate. The cooking facilities were limited to a 2-burner gas top, one frying pan, one pot with a lid, a chaffing dish and 2 wooden spoons. There was absolutely nothing else with which to cook - not a toaster oven, microwave, kettle, toaster or even a spatula to flip fried eggs. The VRBO picture of the kitchen needs to be updated to show the real kitchen and at least a toaster oven needs to be added in order to make meal preparation possible.

Nice apartment in the best part of Giardini Naxos bay. We stayed here for about 10 nights with a baby and enjoyed wonderful garden, beautiful beach in nearby and a loto f nice restaurants. We would like to advice for all who stay here to visit Taormina and maybe Catania ( quite good for those who like Italian shopping ). Giorgio in the garden is very friendly and helpful! Thanks to Silvana and her nice flat!

Our stay here was fantastic! We enjoyed the flat itselfwith its wonderful balcony and gardens. The location itself was perfect for us. We visited Taormina twice. Go to sea sound restaurant fora n out standing dinner + view. Our trip to Sicily has been a once in a lifetime experience.
