The building was built 1894. The apartment has been completely Renovated and Designer Furnished---some Vintage mixed with Modern. There are Hardwood Floors throughout. Huge Windows from once upon a time, and Original Wood Shutters that open to the courtyard, where you will view some real Roman landry.
Amenities include a large Chef's Kitchen, Miele Dishwasher, Washer and Dryer, Microwave, Utensils and High End Dishes,Stemware, Pots and Pans. Beautiful linens are included. All appliances are new as of March 5, 2008.
The apartment is fully Air Conditioned and Heated, all Self Controlled,as well as an Unlimited Suppy of Hot Water. This unit is also new as of August 2007.
There is Satellite TV, a Stereo, DVD, Computer with Broadband, a Printer and Scanner,(all included). Replaced March 5, 2008.
Esquilino, is on the Eastern side of the downtown area,near the train station Termini. The neighborhood is changing, and to me in a great way. It is SAFE and very fun. Certainly the Best location in the city for getting around on foot and to feel the real Rome. The Coloseum is a 10 minute walk, and if you are an okay walker you may walk to all the sites.
The train to the airport or a train to take a Day Trip to Florence or Naples for example, is two blocks away. A Five Star gym, an Elegant Shopping Mall and a Supermarket, may be found in the Train Station one block away. A day of Swimming can be enjoyed at a Five Star Hotel located on the corner,(not included in rental price). The best Farmer's Market in Rome, where the Chef's go to shop, is one block.
Sitting in the cafes although, is the best activity.....people watching in Rome is worth the trip.
The location of the rental is near the corner of Via Principe Amedeo and Via Mamiami.
All rates quoted reflect the pricing for One Person or Four renting. If a fifth, wishes to stay a 75 euro additional cost will be applied to the daily rate. OTHER THAN THAT, THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL COSTS.
