Me and a friend rented the cottage a week ago to do a few days of fishing in the river for the first time. Wow this is no fishing cabin like we've ever rented before let me tell ya. This place is very very nice, has everything you need and then some. Unfortunate the water was pretty low so getting the boat to the dock was a bit of a problem. Apparently the Canadians lowered the water in the river sooner and more than usual. We caught some real nice bass and pike on the river anyway. Steve was a pleasure to deal with and we were glad that we got to meet him, his dad, and his friend when they came to try to clear some weeds from their bay. If you're looking for a week or weekend away from the rat race but with comfort this place is perfect for you.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed here for 9 days and enjoyed every bit of it. The cabin is nice, secluded setting. Was clean, well stocked and set up. Great river view, the dock is good for about any boat. To deal with the owners is fantastic, helpfull in every way put forth to them. Any question answered and every detail taken care of. Not "in your face" owers at all, in fact you will see no one during your stay. Nice fire pit outside by which we enjoyed many an evening. Pleanty of firewood on hand. All in all, a great place to stay and enjoy the S Lawerence and all it has to offer. I know the river and the area. If I can help your stay at all I'm honeeye@twcny.rr.com.
