The Country Cottage is a new, upscale, three story Cape Cod home situated on 147 private wooded acres located in the Blue Ridge Mountains just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The home is beautifully decorated in a country theme offering it's guests a unique blend of quality accommodations in a picturesque, country setting. Unique to the Country Cottage is a 450 square foot lower level activity room specifically designed for small group activities, such as quilting, scrapbooking, meetings, etc. The Cottage is ideally located within an hours drive of ski resorts and/or all major attractions in the NC Blue Ridge Mountains, to include The Biltmore Estate, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, and Mount Mitchell State Park (highest elevation East of the Mississippi River). Along with the Penland School of Art, Yancey County is rich with more artists per capita than any other location in the nation. Galleries and numerous private studios are abundant. Your family or small group will find the Country Cottage to be the perfect setting to get away from the stresses of daily life while enjoying nature at its very best.

8 people .... $1200/week, plus tax. Rates are subject to a 10% increase during.
Peak times: Memorial Day, July 4th, & Labor Day Weeks, ALL Weeks in
October. Thanksgiving & Christmas Weeks, & Week of Mount Mitchell
Craft Fair in August. Nightly rates: $140/night per room. 2 night minimum.
Maximum 2 guests per room. Rates, both weekly and nightly, includes continental
breakfast foods in house. Please call for group stays or special
