Nestled near the relaxing waters of Galveston Bay, yet just minutes from the bustle of Houston, this thriving community offers many amenities for business, families, boating and recreation. There are many family recreation activities like annual ballunar liftoff festival, Kemah boardwalk, Space Center of Houston, Armand Bayou wild life park. There is a thriving bird sanctuary with numerous water fowl at the Armand Bayou wild life park.
Like to sail? To fish? Or just enjoy the breeze off the water? The Clear Lake region is the third largest boating center in the United States, with over 7,700 boat slips available. You can enjoy watersports on Clear Lake with boating access to Galveston bay. Numerous yacht clubs serve the area along with public piers and ramps. Marinas and miles of nearby Nassau Bay shoreline offer some of the best sailing and boating facilities in the Gulf that lead into Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
