Enjoy the splendor of Fall, the still quiet of Winter, the first blooms of Spring, or a gorgeous summer on the shores of Lake Superior. Reserve your vacation at one of our three Lake Superior shore front properties!
Our Classic Log Home is a comfortable and cozy property located just ten feet from the shore. It is showcased on 275 feet of private shoreline. Our cabin has all the upgrades you'll need without sacrificing rustic charm. Built in the 1930s out of log telegraph poles, it boasts a lovely stone fireplace, a 10' by 30' screened porch, and walls that are 80% glass!
There are three bedrooms upstairs, two of which have queen beds and sixteen-foot glass walls with a panoramic view of Shelter Bay and AuTrain Island. The other bedroom has two twin beds. The kitchen is all glass. If cooking isn't your thing, head to the Brownstone Inn, five minutes away, for great home-cooked meals at reasonable prices.
Enjoy the naturalized garden, or tiptoe out into the lake and sunbathe on one of the boulders and watch the seagulls. Enjoy the stars and build a bonfire on still nights. The grounds have been planted with privacy in mind, with pines on the perimeter and mature birch in the center, so neighbors aren't visible.
The Classic Log Home is a rustic retreat available year-round.
We have a second property, Camp Corina, which is our 50s modern getaway. Camp Corina rests on the point of a peninsula and surrounded by forest and the lake. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, fireplace, full kitchen, dinning room, and is ideal for one or two couples seeking a mid-century vacation on the shores of Lake Superior. Our third property is for beach lovers. The Beach House is our third property. It has 1000' of beach front on one side of the cottage - a river on the other side - and the river runs right to the beach. The property is cozy and charming with phenomenal views of Au Train Bay, Au Train Island, and Shelterbay Harbor. Please see links and videos.

Our stay was in early Sept. was just perfect. Camp Corina was clean and very nice. Views wonderful. The entire area from Marquette to Munising was wonderful as well. Really many, many things to keep you busy. We enjoyed a number of restrurants in Marguette. Place is as advertised. You should not be disappointed.

The views from this property will take your breath away! The cottage itself is so close to the waterfront that our dog was able to pop down there and explore pretty much anytime she liked. The large fire pit and screened front porch were two of my favorite features. We didn't use the natural fireplace, but I loved the charm it added to the main floor (also, the gas fireplace warms the space up quickly). We found the stairs to the bedrooms and the low ceilings on the 2nd floor a bit tricky, but the views from the front bedrooms are worth it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfy, rustic retreat where dogs are welcome. We had a fantastic time!

Four of us (two couples) spent a wonderful week at Camp Corinna in early August, 2011. The cabin was clean and obviously well-loved by the owner. Keith made several suggestions about things to do while we were there (The Brownstone, Pictured Rocks Sunset cruise, and canoeing the Au Train river) and his recommendations were excellent. The views from the cabin and the grounds were spectacular. I had coffee every morning overlooking Lake Superior and a campfire every night at the fire pit. It was an idyllic week and I have great memories of our stay at Camp Corinna.

Listing was accurate. Photos of property were accurate. Property was clean and owner was very helpful. I highly recommend this property to those who wish an authentic experience of this portion of Lake Superior. The cottage is a classic northern Michigan lakeshore property. The Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is world class and yet a well-kept secret. I highly recommend sea kayaking with Northern Waters and hiking from Hurricane River campgrounds to the light house along the beach.

This place is awesome. So Peaceful. The woods surrounding the cabin are gorgeous, total privacy. We had a campfire almost everynight, very romantic. Theres even a pear tree next to the house. The master bedroom had 2 walls of window to see Lake Superior, what a view to wake up to. Went hiking at Picture Rocks(many beautiful water falls to see) and explored Marquette and Munising, 2 great towns. Can't wait to come back and experience more.

What a great experience! The cabin was in a very cozy area, surrounded by the rich depth of the north woods. The cabin very clean and very comfortable and well maintained . The downstairs has a fireplace and a screened in porch- great for spring and summer. The upstairs has a very fun lodge-like atmosphere with one large open room (with beds) and two separate bedrooms with beautiful views. We look forward to returning!

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is at the end of a road that stops at the point of a peninsula. Waking up in the morning to a view of Lake Superior and the rocky shores below was spectacular. We spent a long weekend reading by the fire, hiking, and visiting the small local village shops, restaurants, and cafes. The owner was super nice and the place was clean and everything works.
