This comfortable and cozy log home is located just ten feet from the shore. It is showcased on 275 feet of private shoreline. Our cabin has all the upgrades you'll need without sacrificing rustic charm. Built in the 1930s out of log telegraph poles, it boasts a lovely stone fireplace, a 10' by 30' screened porch, and walls that are 80% glass!
There are three bedrooms upstairs, two of which have queen beds and sixteen-foot glass walls with a panoramic view of Shelter Bay and AuTrain Island. The other bedroom has two twin beds. The kitchen is all glass. If cooking isn't your thing, head to the Brownstone Inn, five minutes away, for great home-cooked meals at reasonable prices.
Enjoy the naturalized garden, or tiptoe out into the lake and sunbathe on one of the boulders and watch the seagulls. Enjoy the stars and build a bonfire on still nights. The grounds have been planted with privacy in mind, with pines on the perimeter and mature birch in the center, so neighbors aren't visible.
This cabin is available year-round. |
