Whenever dealing with overseas arrangements, one always worries about whether the parties on the other end of the transaction are legitimate. These guys are the real deal. They manage property interests throughout London and at the time of our visit, their offices were right there in the building with us. They were super-responsive and professional. The flat we stayed in was nothing short of FANTASTIC. The views from our outdoor balcony were stunning (8 stories up right over the Thames) and the quality of the interior finishes was excellent. Easy access to the Underground. Sarab and his team really care about the quality of your visit. This place is a great value and I will definitely return. Dont even think about a hotel when you can get a 2 bedroom/2 bath like this for less!

Our family of four could not have chosen a better flat. The location, the amenities, the building staff and of course, Sarab and his brothers, were all exceptional. The green grocer in the building has a wide selection of sundries and the prices are fair. For bigger purchases, Tesco and Sainsbury's are all within a 10 min walk. We were there during the August London riots and we always felt completely safe. The Vauxhall tube is a 5 min walk away, while the London Eye is a 10 min walk the other direction and there is a tube station as well. This is an amazing location and we have already spoken Sarab's brother about letting another flat very soon. Stay here................better value, more room and feel like a resident of London and Lambeth as opposed to a tourist!!!!

Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) stayed at this apartment for 5 days at the tail end of a long European vacation. This was the perfect ending to our vacation. The view of Parliament, Big Ben and the River Thames was phenomenal, especially at dusk. It is located conveniently within walking distance of the Vauxhall and Westminster tube stations. You are but a short walk from the London Eye, Big Ben and Waterloo Station. Conveniently, there's a pretty well stocked grocery store downstairs. Restaurants are a bit scarce in the immediate vicinity but there were some good ones near the Vauxhall Station. Sarab and the property managment group were very helpful in securing transport from and to the airport and making sure we had everything we needed. We had an excellent time at this apartment and will miss waking up to the fantastic view. The only glitch we had was that on the last night the water heater stopped working for some unknown reason. On Saturday nights, the nightclub located on beached barge directly in front of the building can get pretty loud but they bring down the volume after 22:00. It wasn't a big deal. Overall, it was a great place, exactly as described in the listing, and we would not hesitate to stay again.

My husband and I and our two teenagers stayed at this flat for a week in June. It had everything we needed! The location is about 4 blocks from the nearest tube station, so be prepared to walk. There is a cycle hire right across the street that we used several times that saved some walking. There is a market at the base of the building where we bought milk and breakfast items and saved the cost of going out. You can walk to the London Eye, Parliament, etc. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having two bathrooms. The manager (and his brother) were very professional in getting in touch with us before our arrival, having someone meet us, and returning our deposit right away. I would definitely recommend this flat to anyone visiting London. We had a great stay!

We stayed here as a family of five. The location was excellent, The Thames is just outside the balcony, and it is an easy walk to the London Eye, Aquarium or Westminster Abbey. There are two tube stations within an easy walk that can get you anywhere else in London. The unit was well appointed with comfortable beds, a full kitchen and even a washer/dryer. There is a small store just next door. Down the side street is a coffee/deli place, and a neighborhood pub. Sarab and his brother were very helpful, even coming back out one night to help us figure out how to use the dryer. I would recommend this to anyone travelling to London, especially with a family. It was an excellent value for the money.

Our family of four stayed in this flat March 2011 and had a fabulous vacation! The aprtment was great and well laid out with plenty of room. The kitchen was great, wifi great, we also used the washer/dryer and that was handy. Both bathrooms were very clean and roomy. The mgmt was awesome and VERY helpful. Anytime we had a question they jumped right on it! They even brought up a hair dreyer when we needed one! Can't say enough about our great experience! The location was perfect; close to tube, grocery, restaurants/pubs, Big Ben, the Eye.....and on and on!!! It was also a quiet area and never was disturbed by street noise or neighbor noise!! We will definitely recommend this to our friends/family and hopefuly we will be able to return soon!

My family (my father, two adult brother and I) stayed in the flat for a week. It was perfect for our needs. Our flat had one double bed and two twin beds and a sofa that could be slept on (and two bathrooms), and amazing views looking out onto the Thames (and Parliament and Big Ben). The kitchen was well stocked with all of the basic pots and pans we needed to cook. There's a small grocery store next to the building as well as a number of pubs within a small radius. The flat is a half mile from the nearest tube station, and it also has a number of buses that stop right in front of it, and so getting to the "touristy parts" of town is quite easy.

Me and my husband travelled to London with my 2 year old son. We were accompanied by our parents who travelled from our native country all alone. All total we were 5 adults. Instead of hotel rooms we searched for an apartment where we could get the feeling of staying together during our short trip to London. This choice came out to be the best choice. The kitchen was fully equipped even to the extent of dishwashing scrubber and the dishwashing liquid. The washing machine, wifi internet , TV were there which came out to be very useful.Beds were kept very cleanly. Toilets were also very well maintained. The grocery store just down the building helped us to enjoy the meals cooked at the apartment. There was no noise at all. The Vauxhall train/tube station was just 8-10 mins walk from the apartment. Also the walk was very enjoyable on the pavement near the Thames river.i would recommend this apartment to all those who are travelling in group of 5 adults.

We were two couples who were looking for a place to stay in London, after our cruise. After checking out various hotels, we opted to try renting a flat instead. Similar price, more space. Reading all the prevous reviews we selected this apartment. Turns out Sarab has a number of apartments in the same building, but the reviews applied equally. It's the luck-of-the-draw renting from some unknown individual, so we were very pleasantly surprised to find the owner, Sarab, and his brother to be exceedingly helpful, and very honest landlords. Our unit faced the Thames directly. Fabulous view. It was quite pleasant to simply sit in the living room and watch, from high above, the boat traffic motoring by. As the other reviews mentioned, the place is very convenient to all the usual attractions. There is a stop for the "Big Bus Tour" and the "Original London Tour" two blocks down the street. We took the tour bus a couple of times to Trafalgar square, had dinner and simply walked back to the apartment. There is a large pedestrian walkway alongside the river which made it easy to walk from the apartment to the London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abby, Buckingham Palace, etc. A lot of pedestrians, tourists. My wife felt completely safe walking around, at night, by herself. You can't beat the location, for the price. Sarab's brother, Atif, loaned us a couple of pay-per-use mobile phones. Bought a 20 pound "top-up" card at the convenience store a few blocks away, called Vodaphone to make sure we had the low-cost international calling plan, and we were making calls to the U.S. for 5p a minute. They were handy for keeping in touch with each other as well. The apartment had free WiFi. Atif was kind enough to print up some 50% off discount coupons for some of the sites. Even offered to loan us a printer if we needed one. A lot of the extras, the free WiFi, the mobile phones, eating breakfast at "home", doing a bit of laundry in the apartment, added up to a nice savings over staying in a tiny overpriced hotel in the same area. The apartment was large, meticulously clean, had superb views, and wow, perfectly located.

Just returned from a wonderful stay in London. Denise and I, along with my brother and sister-in-law, stayed at this amazing two bedroom flat owned and maintained by professional property managers, three very nice brothers with Sarab being the main contact. This flat, #72 on the eighth floor of a new building, is located very close to Lambeth bridge near the Arch Bishops residence and has a spectacular view of the river Thames. One can see Big Ben and Parliament across the river and the flat is a very convenient base for visiting all the major tourist attractions in London. There is a five star hotel right next door, a convenience store 5 steps away and a tube station 7 minutes away along with 5 or 6 restaurants within a two minute walk. There is a cozy pub right down the street called "The Rose" that is a nice spot to stop in on the way home from a day's exploring. Next time in London we will definitely make arrangements to stay in this flat and I highly recommend the flat to any other travelers who are looking for a clean, roomy, comfortable and convenient place to stay. My sister and I stayed at Albert Embankment for 10 days in October, 2009. The apartment was great-- clean, spacious and had a wonderful view of Westminster and Big Ben across the River Thames. The location is so convenient to the city, Underground and convenience stores. I will definitely recommend this VRBO to friends and family if they visit London and I will also return if I visit London again.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Sarab ( and his brother)! When my families London flat was cancelled 48 hours before leaving home, I was in a panic. After making many calls in desperation, Sarab, worked with me, piecing together my accomadations. I needed two flats, so he was able to make a contact for the second flat which wasn't even his property. He definately provided wonderful help, and safed our vacation. Secondly, the flat was clean, comfortable, and an excellent location!!!! I would highly recommend this flat.

My friend and I had the great pleasure of staying in the Albert Embankment apartment from May 28, 2008 to June 4, 2008. We were so very pleased with our decision to rent a condo! My doctor's receptionist is from England and swore that there were no such things as condos in London, there were only flats! Boy was she wrong!!! And not only that, we told all of our friends about the condo we booked and how much it cost and they were flabbergasted. We also looked into booking four star hotels, which would have been a single room with two queen size beds, and not all of them had air conditioning either and it would have come out to approximately the same that we paid for a two bedroom condo with two bathrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen with washer and dryer and air conditioning. We took our time each morning with breakfast, and at night when we got "home" it was soooo great to be able to kick back in our bathrobes and slippers and walk around a large apartment and sit at the dining room table to review our day over some snacks and tea. We also found the computer very helpful in finding and booking some restaurants. The apartment was everything it advertised to be and the photos are exactly the same ones I took with my camera. Not only was there someone to meet us at the apartment, but whenever we had a question, we were able to call Sarab and he answered all our questions, and there is always a doorman on call and at night, the front doors are locked for your security. The market is attached to the building and we found it very convenient and reasonable, in fact they had the best prices on Cadbury Chocolate bars. There is even a hotel right next door, that several tour companies pick up from. Vauxhall train station/bus depot is a 5 minute walk, there is a boat that is a restaurant docked right on the river in front of the building and a bus stop in front of the hotel next door. The London Eye is a ten minute walk, but you don't need to spend the money, you could sit in the luxury of your own apartment, sipping a drink, and see the same sites through the floor to ceiling panoramic windows. I would 1000% go back to the apartment and recommend it to anyone, especially families. We were a little apprehensive because the furniture looked all white and pristine, but once we were there, it is so inviting and comfortable that you did not feel like you were in a museum and were afraid to touch anything. We walked all over the place and this w

We enjoyed our stay at Albert Embankment very much. The apartment was clean, well equipped, secure, bright and spacious – exactly as advertised!! The great views from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the open plan kitchen/lounge made morning coffee and evening cocktails very enjoyable. Two full bathrooms were also a great asset. The grocery store in the building was convenient but expensive. A Tesco supermarket is a short distance away and has a much better selection and is less expensive. A very central location within walking distance (even with 2 eighty year old ladies) to Vauxhall or Waterloo stations, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye. Thank you Sarab. Hopefully the apartment will be available on our next trip to London.

We stayed at Albert Embankment for three delightful weeks at Christmas 2007. The location was perfect for my elderly parents who particularly appreciated the convenience and ample room of a modern flat, the easy access to transportation was a real benefit for them as well. My son and i enjoyed the walk along the river every morning as we made our way to nearby Waterloo station to start our explorations for the day. The internet connection made it so easy to book tickets to the theater, ice skating and access train schedules and passes which made me regret hauling along my heavy laptop. We will never forget waking up to those fabulous views of the city and hearing Big Ben chime nearby. I have been to London many, many times and have never felt so comfortable and at home as I did here at #9. Sarab was the most gratious and accomodating host you could hope to have, we are already planning our return in 2009

Our family of 4 was very comfortable here. The building was secure. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean. Sarab was readily available with answers to any questions we had and made our stay easier. The apartment's location was great. Waterloo station, London Eye, IMAX, etc. was a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride away. Vauxhall tube stop was about a 15 minute walk with dawdling children.

Our stay at Sarab's flat was a wonderful experience. It had plenty of room for four adults and my 7-month old baby, and it was so clean I didn't hesitate to let the baby crawl around on the floor. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, the grocery had most everything we needed, and the location was prime. It couldn't have been a more pleasant stay!

The apartment was perfect for my week in London. The flat was roomy, clean and neat. Sarab was a perfect host; he was there to answer my questions and explain how everything worked and then he was as close as an e-mail or a telephone call if I needed anything more. I was on a business trip and the morning walk along the Thames, past the House of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye was something I looked forward to every day. And, the underground was close and convenient too. I can't think of a reason to stay in hotels on my future trips if Sarab has room for me at Albert Embankment.

My husband, myself and our three daughters (18, 14 and 7) had a wonderful stay at the apartment. Our daughters were truly impressed by the flat and its amazing views from the floor to ceiling glazing. The older two shared the second bedroom and the 7 year old was delighted to have the living room bed to herself! The place is a short stroll from the London Eye and some great eating places. Terrific views of the Houses of Parliament and a quick walk to the Vauxhaul Tube station. I would highly recommend Sarab's apartment. He was most accommodating and easy to deal with. It certainly was a better experience of "living in London" than one could gain by taking a pair of hotel rooms - which was the alternative given our party of five. Highly recommend!
