We stayed here for 5 days during the first week of January and we cannot recommend this home highly enough. Everything you need other than food is provided - including shampoo, conditioner, soap, q-tips, towels, bikes, coffee, games, puzzles, daily newspaper, cable TV, flat screen TV in every room, bottled water, ice-maker, laundry supplies - it is all here. And the kitchen has every appliance you would need. One of the best things about this home is the 20 steps to the beach. I really, really liked being able to sit up on the huge master suite deck reading while watching my girls feeding the seagulls just steps away below me on the beach. The views are nothing short of incredible. They are just amazing. This home has everything you would imagine a beachfront home should have. Another thing you should feel at ease about is the owner, Marc. He truly wants his visitors to have a great vacation, and it is apparent in all the small details he has provided in the home. Also, you are within walking distance to Coligny and everything HH has to offer. You will not go wrong staying here.

We just got back from spending Thanksgiving week at this wonderful home. We vacation on Hilton Head Island every year and I can honestly say that this was the best week yet! This house is everything that you could ever ask for in a vacation rental. As a matter of fact, it feels more like home than a rental. Marc, the owner, has done an incredible job at providing so many more extras than typically found in other rentals, from the bikes, to kitchen supplies, to a water cooler. He is also extremely easy to deal with, answered all the questions we had quickly, and was very accommodating. The house is perfect for a large family or several families, with incredible ocean views from almost every room, and the back deck and master suite balcony can't be beat! There are more than enough sleeping accommodations and flat screen TV's everywhere, even in the master bath! We will definitely rent from Marc in the future without hesitation!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

The pictures of this home does not do it justice! Upon arrival, we were impressed with the awesome views from nearly every window of the house. We were also surprised to find all the supplies we had packed for our stay was not needed because the house was stocked with laundry detergent, dishwashing cleaners, paper towels, spices, even a Crystal Springs 5 gallon water dispenser with refills...It made eating meals there very easy! One evening we made Diaquiris with the blender. There was flat screen TVs in every room, several with DVD players and even a movie library. The upstairs master bathroom not only had a huge tiled shower but also a supersized jacuzzi bathtub with another flat screen TV. We loved having our own direct access to the beach! The beach was private and quiet, and we could watch kids in the pool and on the beach easily from our deck!!! There was bikes provided, and we had just a short ride to Coligny Plaza for shopping, restaurants, and of course Italian Ice!!! We also took the bikes on the beach in the evening for a quiet ride. My husband never wants to stay at a beach hotel again! Thanks for showing us just how much more we can enjoy our beach vacations - They will never be the same again, we can't wait to return!!!

Dear Marc, We want to thank you for an absolutely amazing "fall getaway" at Hilton Head. Since this was our 1st visit to the island, your help in making our plans was greatly appreciated. We're very particular when it comes to finding a place that is as close to the ocean as you can get and this house did NOT disappoint - oceanfront and then some! The view and location were SPECTACULAR... you weren't kidding when you said you are literally on the beach. You can't get more than like 10 steps closer to the beach than this house on the whole island! The split level design of this house is just perfect for multiple families vacationing together. We had plenty of room to feel like we were all on vacation together, but every "area" definitely provided its own private niche feel. We were there with my parents and my husband, myself and our son and we could have EASILY had a 3rd or 4th small family there with us without stepping on each others toes! The best surprise was the master bath and its stand alone tub/hot tub/swimming pool! The tub could easily fit 4 people, but is just perfect for 2. It is HUGE and a GREAT benefit that people should note! Some of the active highlights of our trip included my hubbie throwing our child basketball style up in the air 4+ feet in the heated pool, seeing my 68 year old "hot mamma" mom riding a bike for the 1st time in 20+ years (thanks for the bikes!), collecting store quality shells on the beach after a nighttime storm, and watching my parents fly a kite with our 6 year old son on the beach. We tried several places for lunch/dinner and our 2 favorites were Steamers for Lunch and Catch 22 for dinner. I wish we would have tried Aunt Chiladea's, and we plan on coming back to try it! Thank you again for a great vacation and we definitely will rent your house in the future! I highly recommend it for anyone considering it in the future...
